D_Marx Okay, gas can only exist in an atmosphere--bible says god's everywhere or whatever, but "he's out there." Out there, according to Science Fiction, is Space. So, according to Captain Kirk, God is spirit. Everyone has spirit, but some lie about their spirit, i.e., I feel fine, really! So people could be lying about god. ^_^ done! Incorrect... spirt isn't everywhere if its only in us all.

Maybe god is a wave of energy?
Seeing as how wave lengths can affect many of our senses, from sight to touch to sound. Maybe god as we know it is a wave length that seems to have some sort of personality to us.

Hi all, im new here i think ill stay around.
My view on this is that logic should be universal, but for it to be so it would have to be perfect. Logic is a work in progress and it only is about the means by which with true axioms you can relate them and get true conclussions. Mostly when they turn out wrong is because the axioms were wrong and somethimes because the logic itself was, but the later case is very rare i think.
Concerning the actual topic, trying to rationalize god is futile. It is a matter of faith, people dont believe it because it seems true or there are proofs. If reason is your path then finding flaws in the bible stories and doctrines is so easy that is almost pointless, but for the fun of it: I think that the only way you can be everywhere is by actually being everything (in some way). This may be consistent with some descriptions of god in the bible "the alpha and the omega" and so forth, his number (as 666 is for the devil) is the 7, which represents all the positions (up, down, front, back, left, right, and the center), and it could explain the all-knowing thing. How could it be? i dont know and i dont care, im not a believer anyway, but i think it is a decent theory. Concerning the matter of he creating us at his own image, well, a god can have many forms i guess, some kind of avatar that he uses to manifest, that may be the one that we look alike.

I find the debate on logic that this has mostly evolved into to be markedly more interesting than the initial subject.
