It's true, and quite frightening. Most of my friends and family are overwhelmed by how good I am. Most active people in this guild make me look like an uber-newb. 1un4r makes most active people in this guild look like uber-newbs. Some of the people I've encountered (one in Eugene, in fact) make 1un4r look like an uber-newb. And there's probably some elite school of Rhythm Gaming in Japan that just pwns everyone, period.

I know the Eugene elites. They aren't that high over me. pirate And Japan has absolutely no interest in DDR anymore, so out with that assumption.

That really depresses me, maybe that's why the last version of DDR sucked so badly, the just handed it over to us after throwing in a few songs to make it look like they tried and let some higher up american game official say 'hey, here's some songs with words you'll understand even though almost all the other songs on DDR are in english' DAMNIT DDR is going downhill!!! I cried upon finding Shawn Paul n Brittney Spears on DDR but Aqua and Butterfly and Heat of the Night was good *sobs quietly in the corner* god what is DDR coming to?

@ 1un4r: xp I just know that the Milwaukie "elites" consist of me, Jon, and a couple kids at the rival highschool, and that there are never tournaments here 'cause all the serious DDR players are too spread out amongst the suburbs.
@ other person: Stepmania and ITG, that's what DDR is coming to. cool

Japan has absolutely nothing to do with the American console versions, just as your rant has nothing to do with this thread. 2. Your complaints are pretty hard to understand, but I'll take it you're complaining like every other "OMG AMERICN MUSIK SUX Y IT IN DDR??" person. They have to put in some songs that newcomers will recognize. If you're just starting the game, it's very hard to enjoy the game until you know some of the songs, and including licenses eases them into it. No one's forcing you to play them. 3. Extreme 2 has the most well-constructed songlist, and this is coming from someone who's disliked every previous home version (except Ultramix 2).
