I have but one comment to make....
'The songs of the dead are the lamentations of the living.'

Hey...I just came here and read this and I am feeling bad at this loss...True, I never visited his xanga, never talked to him, or even knew what he looks like, but the thought of his friends and family grieving over his death makes it sad...But I think that we shouldn`t remember him like this...I mean, yeah we can always keep it in our hearts but we should remember the things we liked and not his death...but I have no idea what I am talking about...I`ve never gone through this.

There's a bative american belief..i think i's shoshone, that when you die, your sould doesnt actually disapear, or even go to an afterlife...instead, you go to a different world where you have a bew life...i dont believe in all that..but well, i like thinking that maybe that did happen, and, well, he'd go to a wolrd where he could finnaly be happy. makes me feel just a bit better. ^^;;

Unfortunatly every 18 sec. another person dies of S. I'm sure the rate has gone down, but thats what it was last I checked. I know how you feel though, I've lost alot of people in my life, most to S. The big thing that have to remember is that it is not you or anyone else's fault. It may seem that way at first, but it's not. Help those in grieving and keep living your life the way you want to. Micheal, may he rest in peace, gave up his choice of living. Although he could have made it through his hardship. It's eaiseier to die then to live so S is also called the cowards way out. But by all mean I'm sure micheal was no coward. But his S was a permanate solution to a temporary problem. Just know there are people here for you. sad

wow.....i was in a super happy bubbly mood and then i read this thread, im not saying anything u did was bad, i didnt want to be happy, but im soudning stupid now....i jsut wanted to say even tho i didnt know the guy i feel completly sad, ive been in depression a long time and the only thing keeping me from killing myself was three things, the thought of those i would hurt, the thought of extreme pain, and the thought of hell, i will pray for your f riend and ihope he finds the relief he needed in the after life so sadly could not find in life. I hope he is happy, and i am sure he is, smilling at u for shedding tears, smilling for all who cared for him, smilling because he knows you will all do well with your lives and smilling because he knows one day you will know the happiness he feels, but after you have lived a long long happy life

I'm really sorry about that. To you and your friend. I'm not one to pray a lot, but...for this, I can give a prayer. But, to look on the brighter side...he could always be reborn into a better life where he'd never think about doing something like that again.

I am sorry for your loss. Those that leave us are precious indeed
It is true that we lament the mistakes we've made when they pass.... we think we could have said one more thing, or told them more how much they meant to us.
We however do not get that option. We must tell others and hope that they understood it through and through in the acts and deeds that we performed while they were with us.
Good luck to you and do not be disheartened. Use this to remember that you must pass on such great deeds to those that are alive and with you now. Do not forget to cherish those that you still have.
