"Eugh!" Gaius made a face and laughed. "I think I could go without that image, thanks!"
Arms full of bags of artery-clogging chips and pastries and jerky and popcorn and just about anything else you could want to munch on during a movie, Gaius followed after Marshall back towards the entertainment room.
"Maybe after this movie's done I can choose the next one!"

"...How you eat all that stuff and aren't fat? I'll never know." Marshall said on the way back to the Entertainment Room. It was reletively late in the day, so luckily no one had been in there since the two of them left.
"Fine, you can pick the next film. But it better not be Gladiator or any thing Quintin Tarentino. I've had my fill of overly-serious stuff for a while, thanks." he said, almost jumping over the couch, landing in his spot.

"Metabolism?" Gaius grinned innocently as he dumped the stuff across the table.
"Bah, all right. I'll find something with some humor... Uh, how about True Lies? Arnold's always good."
He flopped back down on the chair and grabbed a bag of cheetos, intent on getting his fingers properly coated in that wonderful fake-cheese powder.

Marshall snickered. Ahnuld movies were always good for a laugh, even the really serious ones like Total Recall. He popped open the can of Coke, and started sipping on it, watching the generic annoying teenage girl get attacked by the Cheerleader Zombie. It was funnier than it should've been.
"So...Um, Gaius...I was wondering...Have you figured out, um...What you're...Being turned into?" Marshall asked akwardly. Marshall found out his third day on the Island, when he learned that this Vacation was permanent. An Emperor Penguin. The Irony wasn't lost on him. But he wasn't sure what exactly Gaius was being turned into.

Gaius laughed, scrunching up his face as the zombie proceeded to cheer with the victims' heads as pompomps. "Ooo, that's not right!"
"Huh?" He glanced back at Marshall, surprised by the question. He ran a hand back through his hair. "Er, not really... I guess I could call the labs and ask, but I don't really want to... I figure I'd rather live in ignorance and enjoy my time without worrying about eventually losing my legs or something."
He went quiet for a bit, watching the TV, then spoke up again thoughtfully. "I have been thinking though... I figure they like doing odd things to people, right? Well, I've done some camping and stuff... maybe they'll turn me into some kind of bear. Eat honey and the like." He turned to look at his friend, a brow raised inquisitively. "What about you? Any idea yet?"

"Heh, I'm kind of an easy guess..." he said, pointing to the character on his T-shirt, "Emperor Penguin. Just like Sno Cone. Gee, ain't Moreau a master at Irony or what?...And I don't really see you as a Bear...A dog, maybe. But definatly not a bear." Marshall said, taking another swig of Coke.
"The strange thing is? I'm...Kind of okay with it. I mean, I don't WANT it to happen. I mean, I came here for Vacation and stuff. But...I don't know. I just think that no matter what they turn me into...I'm still Marshall, right?" he said with a slight smirk. That was the first time he had ever told ANY one that.

"A dog? You think so?" Gaius frowned, running a hand back through his hair. "Hrm. Maybe. What makes you say that, anyways?"
He glanced down at the penguin on Marshall's shirt, raising an eyebrow back up at him. "Penguin? Wow, they sure don't choose animals suitable for the environment! I can see you as a penguin, though. With one of those bow-ties and stuff. You could get a job as a waiter then!" He laughed jokingly, elbowing Marshall.
"Yeah, you'll always be you! Just like no matter what, I'll always be Gaius! The same old boring guy who likes food too much for his own good!"
A thought struck him and he turned to Marshall with a grin. "Hey, do you like cooking?"

Marshall blinked. A waiter?!?! The very though of him walking around with a bow-tie serving fruity drinks was enough to make him laugh. "Hahahaheh heh...I don't know...You just seem kind of...Dog-like. Loyal, pretty trustworthy, y'know...Dog." Marshall shrugged.
He finished off his soda before answering Gaius' last question, "Cooking? Yeah, I think its fun. I always make a mess and the food turns out horrible but its always fun. Why?"

"We should so have a potluck night or something. Grab a bunch of random stuff from the cafeteria, see what we can do with it... it'd be awesome!" Gaius nearly bounced with eagerness. If there was something he loved more than food, it was cooking it. "We could grab some movies, maybe get a couple other guys to join us..."
Gaius watched as the horrible horror movie wound down, getting up to pop it out of the TV. "Alright, my turn to choose! After that, we need a classic..." Digging around amongst the movies, Gaius held up a box triumphantly. "Ha! Terminator 2!" He popped the movie in before Marshall could protest and settled back on the couch.
Enjoying a freshly opened soda, Gaius watched the movie a bit before asking Marshall, "So, who told you about the place? Have you met anyone changed?"

Marshall smiled, liking the idea of a potluck. Social gatherings were always fun...As long as no one tried to eat one another, that it. Even with the constant threat of maulings, Marshall loved Social Gatherings...Made him feel almost safe.
"Yeah, Rex told me every thing about this place. And he was pretty far into his transformation...Actually, I think he might be done now. I know a lot of changed people actually. Pyroth, Rex, his girlfreind Fii, Awen, Avery, his boyfreind Tim, Alec, Chubbs..." he said, realising that he knew a LOT of people.
"Ahh, Terminator Two: This Time We Got A Budget." Marshall said, always the movie lover.

Gaius's eyes widened as Marshall rambled off the list. "Holy cow... I don't even know half those people! When I first got here, I ran into Cass..." Gaius looked down, blushing shamefully. "I was told the place was a theme park... I thought she was in a costume. I ran up to her and... lifted her tail. I wanted to see if she ran on treadmills... You can imagine she wasn't exactly happy with that!"
He sat back, shaking his head. "Still can't believe I'm gonna be here... forever. I mean, how can I imagine growing old here? Or turning into an animal at the same time, for that matter..."

Marshall laughed lightly. He had seen Cass before, and she did NOT seem like the type of girl who would find the humor in Gaius' confusion.
He smiled waned, however, as Gaius started getting depressed about both being stuck on an Island AND Changing. So, he did the only thing he could do; he threw a bag of Doritos at him.
"Hey! No getting emo, alright? I mean, it sucks, but you're not going through it alone! You got Sophie, Mitchell, Oz, Me...So don't be so depressed, alright? I mean, we both agreed: No matter what they do, I'll still be Marshall and YOU'LL still be Gaius!" Marshall said in attempts to cheer him up.

"Ack!" Gaius caught the chips with his face, surprised out of his moodyness. He smiled sheepishly at Marshall and nodded. "Yeah, you're right. Best to enjoy the company and make the best of things!" He tore the bag open and stuffed a handful in his mouth, munching happily. "Beshidesh, 'sh not like it'sh ALL bad! We got a great island, and the labsh give ush anything we want!"
He gulped down the mouthful and licked at the orange powder on his fingers. "It really is an interesting bunch they have here... I mean, I'd never have met anyone like that Anjali gal, or Ambrose for that matter... or Sophie..."

Marshall smirked, always happy to make his freinds smile. He looked over at Gaius with a raised eye-brow, before finally asking a question he already knew:
"So...Do you like Sophie? And so there's no confusion, I mean do you have romantic feeligns for her." he said, blunt as a piece of wood.

"H-huh?" The muscular guy was thrown off his train of thought by Marshall's sudden and blunt-as-a-hammer question. "Me? S-Sophie? Uhhh..." He blushed brightly, scratching the back of his head in his nervous habbit and getting cheese powder in it. "I, er... I mean, she's really nice... really nice... and pretty... uh... fun to hang with? And we talk a lot... sometimes lose track of time... er, I... I dunno? Maybe? Kinda?"
