Once she reached the top, she paused, leaning toward the mouth of a particularly large cave, her ears perked forward. She could hear breathing coming from inside, but it was impossible to tell how many there were or who they were. Looking back at him, she whispers "wait here" and then creeps right up to the mouth and slips in silently.
Mere seconds later, she reappears with a little smile. Not all her family is home, but those that are are currently sleeping. They'd not look for her for a while. She had the time to find a decent home for Liza. "Hm..." She looks first to her left, then her right, then left again, before deciding on going right. She started padding along the uneven ground without looking back, tail swishing merrily, knowing already that he would follow. "There are a lot of caves up here. Let me know when you see one you like, Liza."

As he was told the soft lemon coloured lion waited silently for her to reappear. A sombre look came accross his face like a dog whom had been left behind by it's master. He would have wagged his tail if he was a dog but of course he was a lion so he simply lowered himself to the ground in a bow.
She moved off once again though and he followed close at her heels his head bowed between his shoulders. A cave HE liked? He blinked he didn't quite understand the concept of HIM likeing something it was up to the female to decide that. "wh..wh..whichever cu..cu..cave you..you choose is..fuh..fuh..fine mmaa'm" he mumbled his orange eyes looking at ehr curiously, he expected to get cuffed for not doing as he was told pick out one he liked? What an idea! If she wanted him to live on a bed of nails he would she was the master what he liked didn't come in to the equasion.

"You'll be living there, Liza," she says patiently, turning around to face him, beginning to realise there were going to be some drawbacks to having him completely obedient to her. "You should reallly choose a place for yourself. Whichever cave you like. All of these are unoccupied. Pick whichever one seems best to you. You're not that far from me here."
She sits a little way away from him, waiting for him to make a decision. Perhaps she's under the delusion that she can teach him to think for himself. She's only young, after all. She's not yet realised that you can't completely change someone's entire mindset just by making him pick out a hole in a rock to sleep in.

Liza suddenly looked like he was going to collapse. He shook from head to foot. What if he got this wrong? If he chose a cave she didn't like he would be punished. there were so many was this a test? Was he acctually supposed to choose? He made a funny little squeeking panicked sound and lowered himself to his belly quivering "plu..please maa'am du don't punish me I..I don't know which one.." It was possibly a too outspoken thing to say even for him because his paws came up over his head covering his eyes completely. He was submitting to her completely. How could he choose? it wa snot his place to choose a place to live if he decided wrong it would mean trouble!
"pluplease ma'am. if it plu pleases pluplease puhpick fffor me" he stuttered yes that sounded right perhaps that would make it better? Wait! He had asked ehr to make effort when she had given him an order?!? EEK!

She sighed softly, watching him with slightly sad and sympathetic eyes. She had to wonder, now, just who had made him into this. He had the build to be a powerful and brave lion; instead, he was cowering at the feet of a tiny female barely out of cubhood. It was quite sad, if you thought about it. Even she could see that. He'd apparently already tugged rather sharply at her hidden heartstrings. She'd shown him none of her usual snappish attitudes. He was probably the only lion she'd been civil to in a long time. And, ironically, he was the one who was afraid of her. She was beginning to appreciate the irony of the world.
"Will you pick one for me, Liza?" she asks softly. "I don't know what one to choose. I want the best for my Liza." Perhaps she could trick him into picking it? It was possible. If this didn't work, though, she'd just choose one for him before he hurts himself, grovelling like that.

My liza. Well he liked that certainly! At least he knew he belonged to her. Peering out through his claws he looked to the caves some were low down others high up. The ones high up seemed dryest though. he looked up and back at Ny for confirmation. He still needed to know that his pick of the caves wouldn't get him nipped ripped or cuffed. he bit his tongue and swallowed hard.
He had never really been spoken to nicely by one he called master. of course it used to be his mother she made sure he did what he was told. He'd often carried around bruises from her correcting claws. Still something in him realised he would have to com to some sort of compromise this this new master, so he spoke in his usual jittery manner his shoulders quiverig. "th..th..the ones up..th..th..there look nu..nu..nice" he managed flattening himself to the ground "which which ever is su..su..suitable for you ma'am." He realised that she would not be staying but she would be coming back for him right? She had said he was hers! It must be so. He was pleased with this claiming development.

(( only thing is that Maji's got patrols in the land, they'd be spotted out easily by either Maji himself or one of the pride. Neither he reconizes so it would be a big deal ))

((I woulda thought he would know nyunya at least? she's denge's daughter.
Like I said Kats away so I'll leave it to her to decide. though perhaps another rp would be better as this ish kinda a liza and nyunya meeting. Maji could interrupt some other time / we could set up a three way specifically for that.
just a lil note to ya too, I know maji won't recognise Liza but he may recognise the marking on his butt. His father had one that was identical. I realise that would warrent a meeting any ways but if we could set up another rp perhaps liza V maji and nyunya can come in later?))

[I'm open to the three-way. Maji doesn't know Denge because of Leth waiting forever for an acceptance RP with you, Thal, and sort of having to postpone Ny's birth because of it. But then Denge and Ithi got together, and Ny's birth was done in Mistie lands and... well... that's as much of it as I know. If you want the full details of it all, you'd have to talk to Lethy. But yeah. Stupid computer's still not online. Today's just a one-off fluke. If you start a new RP, send me a link, ok?]"Up high?" she murmurs, more to herself than him. Because of her size, it might give her a little trouble, having to scramble up the slopes. Still, she could use the exercise. Her climbing ability wasn't as good as it could be, and if she was to go exploring on her own one day - well, probably not on her own, all things considered - she was going to have to be a good climber and traveller, right? It worked out quite well.
"That's fine," she says louder, gifting him with a nice smile as a reward. After all, she has nothing else to offer him at the moment. She paces along a little way, trying to find a good path up to the higher levels. Well, just because she wanted to get better at climbing doesn't mean she was going to over-work heerself right away.

Liza followed dilligently his tail held in a slightly cocked manner, he was very pleased with these developments. Of course when he realised she would have to struggle up the side of these rocks to get to his designated resting place his ears flattened. He was in for a clip for sure. Imagine picking some where up high when she was only little! Stupid!!! "Uh..uhm.." he mumbled "muh..muh..mabe th..th..th..bu..bottom wu ones are bu better" he managed to stutter hoping to save himself a threashing. He cringed slightly, going against what the mistress had already decided? He paused on the slope expecting her to fling around and cuff his ears for his dissobedience, for speaking out, for changing his mind! He had no right to do that after all she was in charge.
