I like all the characters for what they are.
Your personal bias is dampering your enjoyment of the show as a whole.
Too many people get caught up in obsessing over their extreme like/dislike of a certain character, missing out on enjoying the big picture.
Though I dislike Shannon as a person, I like her as a character, and the elements she brings to the show.

Kenji_Salk I like all the characters for what they are. Your personal bias is dampering your enjoyment of the show as a whole. Too many people get caught up in obsessing over their extreme like/dislike of a certain character, missing out on enjoying the big picture. Though I dislike Shannon as a person, I like her as a character, and the elements she brings to the show. I'm mainly just sick of people bickering over whether a character is "PURE EVIL", and arguing amongst themselves about who rocks/sux "OMG CHARLIE IS TEH COOLEST!! IF HE DIES/LEAVES I WONT WATCH NEMOORE!!!1" etc. That's just a stupid motivation for watching the show, and they miss out on a lot of good stuff if that's all they like.

I don't like Sharron... as a person. I like Sawyer but if I meet him I would hate him. They both are kinda the same charater... the only-cares-for-ones-self type person. But maybe to me Sharron just seems whinnier. But I like how they have many types of charaters and show what many people would react to be on an island.

Well, Shannon does come off as rather strident at times. But I don't really dislike her that much.
I don't like Kate, more because of the writers than anything Kate has done...
I guess they're my most disliked characters, although it's more because I like them the least than any real hate...

i hate Locke. he's so self-centered that he doesn't think about what effect his actions will have on other's. like the whole thing with Boone getting in the plane and dying and forcing Boone to forget about Shannon.

I REALLY don't like Locke. He's so suspicious to me! He's seen the monster on the island...yet tells no one. He introduces Ethan into the camp. He gives that drug to Boone and makes him see the thing with Shannon. And every time something dramatically bad or mysterious happens, his face is shown with a weird expression.
When Charlie wanted to hunt Ethan after Claire's return, Locke came up with every (logical) reason not to hunt him. Instead, he said to set up that trap...then said "We're depending on you" when Boone volunteers for guard duty. And what does Boone do? Fall asleep.
He's just waaaaaay to suspicious for me.
