Just, come on, the dark halo?
Ripping of the original angelic halo, and devil tail position.
I dont know. I'd liked to see something new.
I'll admit these are better than the previous donation letters though..
I would have to agree. Just because I think that gaia is trying to give in to all these people who somewhat whine about not being able to get the originals. Maybe whine is too mean a word to use but... let's just say having this mock DT and halo really isn't going to make me want the original DT any less. The keyblade that's new is nice though I think there are some issues with the positions... I think they need to be thinking about new items with very good quality put into them that will be wanted very much in the future... just like the DT and the halo.

Oulixeus sdrawkcab Yeah, I heard that you can't equip the tail position with items in the jacket slot. >.<
Hopefully that'll be fixed with the next avatar system update.
@Blacula: No problem. ^^
@original karbear: Yeah, that's what made me start donating to Gaia (once I was able to do so). It takes less time to earn the $2.50 than it does to earn the gold to buy it from others. =P Even in Canadian currency it takes less time to earn the 2.50US and pay off the CC than to work it up in Gaia. I know they can play around with layers when it comes to avatar updates, but can they actually update the items and what it looks like too? I wouldn't ask them to... but it makes me wonder if they could.
And as for the originality argument... I see these items as giving newer members and in this case, old members too, a chance to have a certain item. There aren't enough DTs and halos to go around even if eveyone was able to complete a ques for them.
I don't see these items as taking away from the originals, just satisfying those who want a DT, horns, halo and don't care what it looks like. xD
Oh also, people complain about the quality of the original halo and how people only want it as a status symbol. XD I do wish the quality were better on these items though. XP Do you think releasing items on the 15th has been rushing them somehow? =P
And~ I know rumor has it that the quest system will help us/newbies attain older donation items but... until then, I don't see anything wrong with giving us mock versions. Come on, it was the aniversary of the halo. XD
And~ no, I don't want them to keep remaking the older items. I would like to see more original items come out~
