We all change on the bus, but most of us are never really naked... unless you count the back of the bus, there's always your usual..... stuff... going on back there. People usually wear like gym shorts and our band t-shirts underneath their uniforms, and there aren't really any traditions for the seniors going commando or anything like that (that I know of...)

whenever the guys change into their uniforms at our school,
its traditional to sing at least one popular song or jingle from a commercial.
last night was no exception. i started singing that rocky spin off commercial that goes GLEN. GLEN GLEN GLEN. GLEN GLEN GLENNN. glens the man going to work.....
and so on.
but last year we sang west side story alot.

We have to wear like shorts and clothes underneath our clothes... some of the girls forget to wear shirts and shorts though so they'll run around in their underwear and bra. One girl did that in the parking lot too!! lol! Its weird though, because its all boys and girls on the bus and we're all right by eachother, so we all make sure to wear clothes. lol!

*blinks* Changing on the bus?! We change outside next to the trailer! And yeah, our seniors go commando for their last performance too.
One of my favorite themes is "dress like a staff member", as well as bathing suit night (which is always the last rehersal of the season meaning it's 9 at night in November....last year it was sleeting...)

Skye of Thunder Haha...the name of this thread just cracked me up.... Our band isn't really big with the "naked on the bus" thing....mainly because we're swamped by chaperones, but hey lol...Even though our BD encourages us to just wear underwear beneath our bibbers eek (he's new...so yeah......we were thinking the same thing eek ), I guess that we still prefer to go clothed....what a shame whee (And by the way...seeing how we already have a band tradition thread, I ask that all who post here keep to the thread title please...if not, I will lock it....We're doing our best to prevent repeat threads here 3nodding ) We go clothed too, but the football players think we have nothing on underneath. It's really fun to tease them and then you pull your uniform off and you have clothes on. xd

I think it's easy for the band, cause they wear tshirts and shorts under their uniforms, but the guard is a different story. I'm onkay with changing on the bus with guys near, as long as I have a sports bra on, and are able to hide my undies.

Hmmm our traditions.... Where to start...
1. Stealing stuff from places we stop after far away shows/games. My old Senior (freshman year) Kevin Six granted me the right to steal things like he did. His two best steals ever (while i was with him at least): a stuffed squirel we found at band camp that still is in his room to this day and a shopping cart from a Walmart from Pennsylvania with a grilled chicken in it.
2. Going commando during the play-off season. We have an awesome football team so we have tons of extra games every year. Needless to say I participate way too often.
3. Forming little band cliches. Right now it's me and a few buddies of mine that are the band Nazis of sort. Our best snare, Andrew, heads it and I'm #2. All underclassmen (sophomores and freshman) have to salute us at band camp (it's an old tradition). It's awesome being a junior with a high rank.
4. Freshman dressup day. Insolent guys in dresses or old flag/majorette unis and slutty girls finally covering their nastyiness up.
5. Out "legends" of The Trombone King and Fish-Eyes.
There are more but I'll stop there...

Andy1989 On our bus the old Bass Clarinet gave "orgasmic 'massages'" to girls in the back seat of the bus without his pants on...And since he graduated, I have to live up to that reputation...Hehe... And for Mascots for our sections...We have Mr. and Ms. Low Brass. Steven is Ms. Low Brass and Lacy is Mr. Low Brass. We also have the Low Brass Mobile. And when I can drive, we will have the Low Brass Box-On-Wheels. It's a Scion xB...A better looking Honda Element of sorts...Those are our mascots. that is sooo funny... OMIGOD i will be the only girl low brass/low reed next year.. unless we get some femme frosh... but still lol... ill be Ms. low brass.. heheh... wish i went to that school.. sounds like fun.. I will hafta start up some band traditions.. and the commando thing sounds sooo funny!!

My band doesn't have any traditions like that especcially since we don't have actual uniforms. We do have one trumpet player who likes to take his shirt of and wip it around his head though and I think one time his pants fell down but otherwise nothing really with the nakedness.
