spinat Mah- for this leg of the tour they chose to ignore WA state sad I do feel a tad spoiled for whining though because I did get to go to the Bill Graham November 24th concert in San Francisco last year. Twas awesome xd but they added new tour dates! theyre going to Tacoma, WA at the Tacoma Dome on september 23! surprised

I went to my first Green Day concert a couple weeks ago. Actually, it was my first rock concert . . . ever! IT WAS AWESOME! They picked people out of the audience to form a band, Billie Joe almost picked my boyfriend to be the drummer. Then my boyfriend and his mom tried to get me to volunteer to play guitar, but I'm just learning, so I kept my hands down with all my strength.
Then I slept over at my boyfriend's house. Good times.
(no, we didn't have sex, we're too young)

I went to see Green Day last year on...I think November 23..I just know it was the day before Thanksgiving. I can honestly say it was the best concert I've been to. And I'm going to the September 24th show in San Francisco of this year! The best thing about it is it is exactly a week after my b-day, and my friends mom bought us the tickets..so I am anticiating this show a lot.

Actually the show at the Tacoma Dome is September 26th...
But I'm going! I'm sooooooo friggin happy. I've been waiting to see them for 5 years and now I'm actually going! Just ordered the tickets today. They went onsale 4 months in advance, it's crazy. Most of the time it's like a month or 2. I'm so excited and I can't wait! the next 4 months are going to suck, I don't want to wait that long. But I'm so happy so I don't care! Plus Jimmy Eat World is awesome too so it's going to be great.

The concert was so ******** awsome. My friend and I had floor tickets and we were at the security gate for the entire time. We we're always no less then 10 feet away from any band member.
Highlights :
In a encore presentation of we are the champions by Queen, Mike and his bass came over to the security gate were my friend and I were. He was playing and I did a devil horns in one hand and I stuck my huge a** tongue out as far as it would go. Then he made eye contact with me and stuck out his tongue! It was awsome
During... oh god, I can't remember what song... But Billie Joe came over to were I was and he pulled down his pants. I was so close I could count the a** hairs (he has a very hairy a** )
When Gerard (from My Chemical Romance) was talking to the audience, My friend and I screamed 'You rock GERARD!!!" and he stopped talking laughed and looked over at us. It was magical.
Uh... it was so awsome. At one point Mike and Gerard got into a light saber fight and before Green Day came on, Billy Joe went on stage dressed up as a bunny and he drank a beer and stumbled around stage. It was hilarious!
Another thing, My friend and I made some friends. We saw these two guys who looked hott so we decided to go near them. Then they stopped and we talked to them. At the end of the concert they asked us for our phone numbers! That was sooo awsome!
Oh yeah, and during the encore, my friend and I and thosee two guys were always the ones starting the "Green Day" chants. By then I barely had a voice but we still got practically the entire dome to chant with.

Goddamn! My friend's dad was definitely going to take my friend and I to the Buffalo show but... it's sold out. The cheapest tickets are for GA at $115. That is the ultimate suckage. gonk

OMG! i went 2 the green day concert when it was in my neck of the woods and i got 1 ft away from touching billie's hand........ i was in the front row baby!!! it was awesome and my best friend got a guitar pic from mike!!! he only threw out 2 so it was so awesome!!!

I saw them on SF Nov. 24th, 2004, amazing night.
i will be seeing them Sept. 24th in SF at SBC and again Sept. 30th at Arco. 2 green days 1 week span = happy ears of me heart
