chibimaniak6916 I can live with the name changes and the voice changes, I always have. It's really unrealistic though. There's hardly any blood, they took out all the guns and replaced them with... stupid gadgets that are suppose to scare people to death. Oh, I'm sooooo scared of a gaint hammer! They turned it into a pixie land or something, where no one dies and no one gets hurt. OMG, where's the realism?! agree

gen_gen_gen Vile_Maverick Please, if you never heard of One Piece till you saw the dub, you shoudlnt be complaining. For you cant say " But they did all these gay changes" if you liked the show before you saw the sub....... thou some cahnges are crazy. You can still dislike the changes. One Piece Dub is still good, but it's in spite of the changes they made. The source material is so good that they couldn't dull that diamond completely.
Haha I saw the dub first but the reason why I complain because it was so depressing to see all the changes made from the original and I just enjoy the original much more. But gen_gen_gen, you're so right.

All they have to do now it take it off the TV and have true fans of the original dub it! Leave all the music, just make the voices english!

All of you people who hate 4kids only hate it because you are used to the japanese version. I for one would rather watch and enjoy than have to read all the dialog. Although blood and most cursing is taken out, that doesn't really affect One Piece. One Piece has alot of things better than just blood and bad words XD. If you took the time to watch and accept 4kids version you might like it more. I am up to date with both japanese and english versions of the anime. I am up to the defeat of CP9 in Jap and Crocodile in English and to tell you all the truth I like english way better. It has more feeling, in the Japanese version I couldn't even tell that Shanks was always happy and I couldn't tell that Sanji had a great voice. My opinion is watch One Piece in English!
I would kindly ask not to be flamed for this.

Probably because I'm...Australian? 4 kids did pokemon, how could you not have heard it? Pokemon was around long before 4kids neutral . Pokemon was originally on channel 22 or 11. Like 5 years ago....back when there were only 150. I think Pokemon was on toonami along with ThunderCats, DBZ, and it was a little before Zoids...

Even if you can't understand Japanese, you can still tell that the original voice suits better. I love Hiroaki Hirata's voice (the japanese voice actor), he does an awesome job portraying Sanji.
