Bliss shook his head slowly, a confused look appeared on his face. "No, what? A crush is a friend, right? That's what Mahiri told me, I think." He looked at Aruna with a sad smile, trying his best not to feel like an idiot. Why did he not get things?
"Alright, whatever you say. You're the smart one." The stallion then laughed, nudging her in a playfull way. "I won't ever say I'm smart, because I'm not. And I'm no better then the ground I walk on."
"Yes, Ru. Don't you like it? It's like Aruna, without the "A" and "na"." He laughed again, this time feeling as though maybe perhaps he wasn't as stupid as he thought. He had a brain, or at least he certainly thought he did. Bliss never really saw his own brain, so maybe it wasn't there. "Yea, unstable about something....um..." He frowned, not wanted to talk furthur about Bairn. That stallion was just so dislikable.
"All the time? Well, why?" Bliss looked at her again, and couldn't help but admire her beauty once more. She didn't look anything like Mahiri, but she defiantly caught the fox mare's beauty.
"Then you shouldn't talk to stallion's anymore. They're not trustworthy. They'll always say or do something, then take it back." He nodded slowly, not having any clue how he knew this. "Yes, I like that. Dearest Bliss. Sounds...um...what's that word?" He asked her softly, blushing. He couldn't help himself sometimes, asking questions like that was in his nature.
"Do you like Leha and Astia? I do. They're beautiful. Firefly's very helpful, I hope I get to run into her again. But she wanders, like me. She doesn't really have a home, or a family either." He shifted uncomfortably as he pondered her next question. What did she mean by that?
"Well.." Bliss started, trying to find all the right words. "You're wise, beautiful, you have a brownish colored coat and a little bit of green in your tail. Your mane is braided just like mine." He paused for a second, remembering something that Mahiri told him about Aruna. "And your confused because you used to be in love, but he broke your heart. Am I right?"

"A crush can be a friend, but it means you like them more than 'just a friend'. It's sort of like being in love, but not quite. An infactuation. But it's okay if you don't know, Bliss; it's probably better you didn't. You probably couldn't take the pain that came with it. And don't say that, dearest Bliss.
"You're far better than the ground below you; I mean, you can walk, and talk, and play, and such, yes?" Aruna said, trying to comfort him, but unsure of how to do so. "I'm not smart, but I'm witty," Aruna confirmed, correcting him halfway. "Yes, I like my new nickname very much," she said, trying not to laugh, but ended up doing so anyway. "Well, let's not talk about my brother anymore.
"Now, if I shouldn't talk to stallions anymore, I couldn't talk to you or my brothers, Swafi and Bairn, or my father," Aruna said, tilting her head. "You can say it sounds very nice, dearest Bliss, and yes, I like Chaleha and Astia. Though I will say, I'm a little envious of them." Aruna looked at her coat and then at her tail, where the end was dyed a forest green.
She felt plain compared to most mares, but she didn't say that aloud. She would let Bliss know that she was envious, but she didn't want him to worry about the other things she felt as well. "Thank you for the compliments, Bliss, I appreciate them a lot," she siad, smiling. "And..." she faltered a bit. "My mother blabs too much," Aruna said dryly, fighting the urge to roll her eyes.
"But yes, you're quite right. I used to be in love, but he broke my heart. But we're the best of friends now, so no worries."

Bliss nodded, finally understanding what the word 'crush' meant. Mahiri tried to explain, but it was too late at night and he just wasn't paying to much attention. "Alright, I thik I get it. I don't have a crush then, just a bunch of friends. If a crush is sort of like love, it shouldn't happen so fast." The stallion grinned at the mare, wondering what happened between her and that stallion.
Listening to her next words, Bliss laughed. "Alright, your right again. I'm much better the ground, but not as great as the Great Ru!" He teased, nudging her playfully. "I agree with um....everything you're saying." The stallion said, trying to remember everything she did just say. This conversation was starting to get rather...strange. But that didn't matter, he was defiantly having a lot of fun.
"Well now, I wouldn't call myself a stallion. I'm a male, not a stallion. It would be lovely if I was a mare." He said, and stared at her with a serious face. That was a complete joke, but he wanted to see her reaction. "But you're right....again. Not seeing the male's in your family is horrible, well..for you at least." He chuckled, still trying to keep the best serious face.
"Me too. Why are you envious?.....What is envious?" Bliss asked Aruna, the serious face now turning into a confused look. What did that word mean, and why did she feel that way towards Leha and Astia? They were lovely mare's...what could Ru have against them?
"Don't worry about it, Miss Ru. I appreciate you being very kind. You remind me of Mahiri, if I may say so myself. Which is a good thing, if you care." He laughed at her comment about Mahiri. "Perhaps she does. I'm not sure."
"Really? Well, it's good that you two are friends, but may I ask what happened? Why would a stallion dare to break such a beautiful mare's heart?"

Aruna smiled. "Yes, a bunch of friends. Well, love can happen that fast, but you don't really know. I wouldn't know; mine happened over time." She smirked at what he called her, and shook her head. "Ha, ha, Bliss. Great Ru indeed. I think I preferred it when you weren't teasing me.
"You're just as great as I am, dearest. Try not to be so negative. Besides, that's Bairn's job." She rolled her eyes. Her brother had been moody lately, but she couldn't figure out why he was like that. Ah, well. "A male? Well, that you are. But you are a stallion, too. A nice one." She blinked, however, when he said that he would love to be a mare.
"You're... just kidding, right, Bliss?" She said, trying not to gape. "Well, envious is meaning you're kind of jealous that person has something you don't. It's just another word for jealous, I guess. Oh, but I haven't anything against those two, if that's what you're thinking." It was true. She had nothing against them, but she envied them.
"I remind you of my mother? Goddess, no, that's the end of it," Aruna said, chuckling. "I'm so completely different from my mother I almost find it laughable." She quirked an ear at him at his next question, and asked in return, "Are you truly that curious? If you are, I will tell you the story. It's nothing harsh now that I'm over it, but anything can happen."

"It can? Well, it shouldn't. I think you should really care about the stallion or mare as a best friend before anything happens." Bliss smiled at Aruna, trying to remember all the mares he had met so far. None of them would be 'mate' material, that would just be so wierd. "Sorry Ru. I won't tease anymore." The stallion frowned, maybe perhaps his teasing hurt her feelings. He certainly hoped it didn't.
"Yea, Bairn. I think I remember Mahiri telling me that she'd like it if her eldest daughter and only son talked about their emotions together." He nodded slowly, trying to think of everything the fox mare had told him only a little while ago. "I don't want to be a stallion, just a male. A stallion makes me feel powerful and rude. I hate that." Bliss blinked, staring at Aruna as he watched her reaction.
"Yes! Just kidding, don't worry!" He laughed, silently thankful that the joke sounded real. It proved that maybe he could trick others, maybe he wasn't that stupid afterall.
"Alright, so it's like me being envious of all the smart soquili's out there? I think that makes sense." Bliss nodded again, "Ok, just as long as you didn't envy them for being better friends with me then you." He teased, nudging her again. It was easy to tease this mare, for some reason. And he was very comfortable with it.
"Well, you do in a way. Not sure how, you just do. Maybe you are, I don't know. I haven't known you for that long. And only if you want to tell me. It's ok if you wish to keep it a secret, I respect that."

"Thank you, Bliss," Aruna said, smiling. "Well, if you're not going to tease, I suppose I will." She grinned a bit wickedly. "So, what do you usually think of? Or do you hate my brother on a daily basis? Heh, that's pretty funny to think of."
She glanced up toward the sky, and frowned. "Hm. Seems like it's getting late, dearest Bliss. I have to be leaving! I hate to be leaving in such an abrupt way, but I have elsewhere to go. I've had the most delightful time talking with you, though." She nodded, and moved to nuzzle him affectionately. "There we go. My final goodbye."
She moved back and tossed him one of her few genuine smiles. "I'll be back to visit again, Bliss. Stay cheerful and sweet, okay? I wouldn't want you any other way, nor would any of your other friends." With those parting words, she trotted out back the way she came, seemingly intent on something. "Bye!"
