(( What a sorry state of affairs! *pets* Well, so long as I can find someone to give him some luff afterwards. heart ))
The knock from his paw that sent the juve tumbling shocked Mchele nearly as much as it did Hakan. The pain of dispair in his belly only worsened with the thought that he'd seriously injured the youngster. He shouldn't have lashed out at one so much smaller than him, even when he was spitting such poisonous words. He stood still over the rogue, wide eyed and breathing hard, but he didn't make another attack.
First his ignorance of Kizuka's feelings and now violent! He couldn't help it and his eyes welled with tears. Blinking only made them run down over his furry cheeks to be lost in the thick hair of his mane.
He tried to turn his head away but it whipped back when the rogue didn't leave and instead only moved away a few feet to continue yelling at him. Hadn't he said enough already? "I CAN'T LOVE HER!" He roared back desperately. "I can't love lionesses!" His roar turned into a moaning sob. There, he'd said it and now it was hard to stop the rush of words. "It would be so much easier if I could. But it's impossible! I tried... I tried so hard to love her like a mate should. But I can't. I told her so she would be able to find someone who could... I didn't mean to hurt her!"

(( aww I wish I could bring Kiburi back sooner ;o; but she's not going to be getting home for a while yet. Still got a couple of RPs to finish. ))
Mchele's yelled words silenecd Hakan's tongue, sending him into a state of utter confusion and guilt. He'd judged this lion so quickly, thought badly of him the moment Kizuka had told him about what had happened. He had thought the beast heartless and cold, yet this lion was clearly none of those things.
The tears in his eyes proved that.
What did all of this mean? Why couldn't he love Kizuka or anyone else? Was his heart not capable? Hakan shook his head and backed off a few more steps, wondering if this lion was mad. He certainly said and did the strangest things.
Part of him felt that he should apologise but his pride would not allow it and instead he puffed out his chest, growled and paused a moment longer to call a retort.
"Just make sure you don't hurt her again, ever. Or you'll have me to deal with, got that?" And with that said he turned and padded slowly away from the scene, wondering if what he had done was right. He hadn't let his claws do the talking but that didn't make him feel much better.

(( *needs some sisterly love!* Well let me know when you've finished them. I don't want Mchele about too much but he'll certainly want to see his siter no matter how he's feeling. ))
Tear stained eyes narrowed at the rogue, then blinked and looked away. He'd said his piece. He'd told him exactly why Kizuka would never find a complete relationship with him. But he didn't know if the rogue understood. He was pretty young after all. Or maybe he understood but was simply appalled?
That was the impression he got at any rate when Hakan growled at him. Mchele tensed, wondering if it would lead to a physical attack, but it seemed the stranger didn't want to pit his smaller strength against Mchele's.
He said nothing as the other made his final threat and left, only sitting and letting the warm wind rustle his mane. He'd already made that promised to himself, that he wouldn't hurt her. And why would he have to deal with this dark lion when his own guilt would do a fine job of hurting him? Finally seeing that the other was leaving, the young adult flopped down. He was emotionally exhausted and didn't care that tears flowed silently down his face. He wanted desperately to see Kizuka this instant... but at the same time was terribly reluctant to go and find her.

And yep Ill definately let you know when Kiburi returns. She's been thinking of her brother every day and the promise that she made him to return =3
I believe that Kire's lioness Kirjava is entering Pridelands, she has a message from Kib for her family if she happens to bump into them.
