He laughed as he flipped around like an out of control skydiver. This was actually mildly entertaining; when else would he have a chance to spin around in zero gravity? He could view Angara later, if need be.
"Hey Ryudo, I think we found a use for your powers afterall."

Ryudo swooped down lower, skimming the treetops as Vargus followed him in. It seemed he'd found a decent landing spot. In the meantime, Silver would enjoy being smacked by some of the tops of the taller trees as Ryudo made his approach.
Indeed...

"Owwww. Owww oww owwwa oww oww."
The trees really didn't hurt that much. Well, when compared to his normal lifestyle. However, it was certainly enough to make the rest of the trip rather... unenjoyable. And the spinning made it almost impossible for him to cleave the tops off with Dragoonair.

After a few more minutes, Ryudo pulled upward slightly, allowing himself to stall and lose his speed enough to come to a smooth and gentle landing. Vargus followed soon behind and they allowed the group to disembark.
As for Silver, he'd land rather unceremoniously flat on his face in front of Ryudo, leaving a small Silver-shaped crater in the ground.
That first step is a pain. I'd suggest being a little more careful next time...
Vargus just rolled her eyes, and shifted back into a human form with a flash of bright light, as did Ryudo.

Silver pulled himself out of the ground, grinning slightly. It wasn't a happy grin, more of 'har har' grin. He stretched his arms for a bit, taking note of the surroundings around him.
"I give the flight a B. The seats sucked and I didn't even get complementary snacks."
He stumbled around for a sec, running his fingers through his hair to put it into place. Right off the bat, he could tell the flora was much different from that of the main continent he came from. He said nothing else; he was rather absorbed in this magic heavy environment.
It probably wouldn't be long until Angelous started eating things.

Damrius stood around, staring at teh beautiful plant life. He stared at teh sky, the amazing blue sky. The continent didn't have this blue of a sky.
You guys grew up here? That's awesome. I wish I grew up here...
Damrius walked over to Ryudo, and looked at him directly.
I have very high suspicion that the people hwo had arrested Master Ryugi already know we were coming. I'm virtually useless against you and Ryugi, so I don't know how much use I am against them, but I suggest we find a base of operations immediately, come up with our cover stories, and then set out to gather information. But maybe that's just me... I'm not too well informed about this whole Ordeal, I just know it involves getting the person we all care about back.

"Ahem..."
Silver cleared his throat and spoke, as if to answer the man. Or at least inform him of the situation.
"By order of the High Council of Angara,
You, Ryugi Kazamaru, are hereby placed under arrest for crimes against the Continent of Angara. The charges brought against you include, but are not limited to theft of property, resisting arrest, destruction of property, attacking officers of the law, and murder.
Anything you say can and will be used against you in a formal hearing at the High Court of Angara. You have the right to a defense, and right to paroll after payment of bail. Do you understand and agree to these rights as stated?"
He recited it with perfect accuracy, and spoke in the same serious tone the man who made the charge did. It would at least give the others a clue at what they could have to deal with.

You are nothing if not perceptive, Damrius.
Ryudo didn't show a single emotion as Damrius talked, but he did indeed listen. He then looked to Silver as the young man spoke. After he finished reciting, Ryudo looked again to Damrius as if to answer both of the men at once.
However, you fail to realize something. You have done battle with my brother enough times to know his strength. Look around you. Do you see massive cities? Aero-planes? Or any of your other "modern" technology? You may look, but you will find none. Angara is not a technologically advanced civilization, we are a peaceful and nature loving race of creatures. What wood we take for our structures, we counter by planting new trees. What food we grow is carefully regulated so as not to damage the land.
So, ask yourself, since we are not technologically advanced, would we have a prison capable of holding such a powerful elemental as my brother against his will? The answer to this is no. If my brother were to want to escape, he could do so without much effort on his part at all. This is not to say that our facilities are not guarded, they are. And they are guarded by the Ceremonial Guard.
These are fighters that not even my brother is on par with in elemental strength. They have ascended into the third or fourth realms of their power. I, myself, have only achieved my second. And my brother has yet to even attain that. He could escape, but he would be hunted down within a few hours and brought back to the prison. The Guard are masters of tracking. How else do you think they were able to find my brother so far from this continent?
He stopped and looked about for a moment, as if gathering words, or assessing the situation.
As for your assumption that they think we are coming... I am positive that this is untrue. We have no need for a base of operations or cover stories. And there is little information to be gathered as we know exactly where to look for my brother. Outsiders are not illegal here, simply reguarded with caution, suspicion, and mistrust. Pertaining to your "Base of Operations", we need not that, however we do need a place for lodging, and I know just the place. After we rest for a short time, we will head to my hometown of Presea. Once there, we can sit, plan, and then when we are ready, we can make our move.
As he finished, he looked to Vargus and then leaned against a tree to relax and take a break from flying. It was hard work carying passengers across miles of ocean without a break.

Damrius took in what Silver had said, and then listened to Ryudo talking.
So I'm guessing that Ryugi was blamed for whatever you did.. Because as far as I'm concerned, he doesn't kill. At least, as far as I have been told. But, I don't know about his past.
So, is this your fault, or his?
Damrius said this, and looked at Silver and Ryudo.
And I could have figured that Angara was not technologically advanced, I was just saying we should gather information. Look for flaws in the Ceremonial Guards' Patrols. Look for weaknesses on the big ones too. Make sure that whoever comes after us in our retreival of Ryugi we can take out. Or at least ones we can easily dispose of without killing easily. But, You're the boss, I'm just listing off ideas, and I think I need to get some sleep on something without scales.

Silver shifted slightly. He listened to the both of them and responded to Damrius.
"Or we could be more diplomatic about this. I doubt we really need to worry too much. But you never know. The only ones that have an idea what will happen are Ryudo and Vargus. But I wouldn't worry too much. So long as you don't do anything rash..."
Surprizingly that last statement wasn't directed at Ryudo, but Damrius. He had faith that Ryudo wouldn't pull anything in his own homeland. Afterall, they weren't "Human filth".
Though I wouldn't doubt Ryudo had a hand in this... if unintentional.

I can assure you my brother's current position was NOT brought about by anything of MY doing.
Ryudo glared at Damrius. He was offended. Ryudo was NOT the type of person to deny what he'd done and pass the blame onto someone else. Never in his life, even durring his darker years had he shifted the blame for his actions elsewhere than his own person. His voice was tinged with a hint of anger as he spoke to Damrius.
Your, to use a human coloquialism, "Cowboy Diplomacy" will NOT be tolerated here. There is no information to be gathered. All the information we need has already been given to us by my brother's accusers. He was convicted of heinous crimes he did not comit, and since I have not been to this place in over 600 years, anything of my doing is out of the question. Therefore, logic would state that a case of mistaken identity is the cause of these events, and nothing else. Someone or something looked enough like my brother to get the two individuals mixed up. To answer your question, it is NEITHER of our faults.
He turned to face Silver after one last look at Dame that pretty much stated that anymore accusations on Ryudo's hand in this wouldn't go over lightly with the dark man.
I tend to agree with you, Dragoon. As odd as my agreement might seem, your course is the quickest and most logical way to go about handling this situation.
He turned again to Damrius, almost lecturing to the young man.
Finding flaws in a next to perfect system and looking for weaknesses in fighters that outclass even myself is a waste of time. Besides, attacking officers of the law is a major offense in Angara, as is the forceful removal of a prisoner. The rules reguarding that are no different here. We do not want to end up in prison with my brother if we are trying to find the one truly responsible for this situation. If my brother has not yet told you this, I will. Look for multiple ways to deal with a situation before setting your mind on one.
Back to Silver. He leaned against the tree once more as he spoke. He spoke first to Silver, then more adressed the group as a whole.
Diplomacy is not always the most exciting way to go about things, but it can often be the best if used wisely with logical decision making. That is why after we rest for a few hours, we will then head to Presea, stay the night there, and head to the City of Elders the next day. That is where my brother will be if held, and that is where his trial will be. Once we are there, we can formulate how to go about things.

Damrius lowered his head, but stared at Ryudo. He nodded, and stayed silent. He got himself riled up for no reason. He needed to be more trusting of Ryudo, especially since the first time they met, Ryudo DID hand his a** to him on a silver platter.
He adjusted his sword, and then looked away from Ryudo, and moved around to stare at the sky again.

Madison remained rather quiet as she listened to the men talk away. She then lightly countinued to exmine the flora around her. One plant had caught the girl's attention rather drastically however.
It was a large flower with bright vibrant orange petals which seemed to be three times larger than her head. She merely smiled and leaned in slightly, to examine the plant more closely. As her she examined the plant, she frowned slightly, knowing that they would need to get moving before their friend got himself in more danger.

Silver meerly shrugged and spoke.
"We should depart soon, then. Theres no reason to linger around, unless we're to eat or something."
This is where he removed a bottle of Sunkist Lilac from his robe and began to drink deeply. Surprizingly, none of the bottles broke from the fall.
