I was raised Roman Catholic, but none of it ever held me. I always found that the ideals and beliefs were too shallow in the sense that everything fell apart once you realized that everything in the bible seems to contradict itself. I don't really follow Wicca, but I believe in the power of elements and the power of nature. I just can't pull myself to believe that some invisible trinity holds power over this world, power over the living, breathing elements that you can see and feel and touch and experience.
I was born under earth, but I'm not sure if I really am earth. How do you find out what you are?

I'm not exactly Wiccan, but I know quite a bit about it. I wasn't really raised too religously... my parents are Episcopalian (sorry if the spelling is off!), but my mom is extremely good with healing, she can kiss my forehead and cure my illnesses. I myself practice a mix of religions, which DOES include Wicca, alongside Shamanism, Daoism, Buddhism, and a few other religions. Anyways, I've been studying Wicca for only about a year and a half to two years... I've had a strong knack for mediumship since childhood, but didn't look much into it until I was a teen, and my studies of mediumship got me into divination, and basically one thing led to the next...
Also, as far as elemnents, I'm water. I'm flexible, ever-changing, and emotional.

kitten-dagger Cetrasai I want to be pagan, but I know more about vampirism (which is real, by the way!) I was raised Christian (not trying to insult anyone here) but I thought the ideals were fake and not possible to carry out by humans. I've met a lot of supposed "Wiccans", but most of them are just annoying and don't know what the ******** they're talking about. I don't know my elements...but I would have to guess fire. Thank you! i was raised Christian too and think the same, I would love to talk to you about vampirism, ive always been interested in it but have never been able to find anyone who knows crap about it I probably can't tell you everything. You could just go to the thread about Vampirism in this guild though. The girl there really is a vampire and she can tell you a lot.

I'm just kind of pagan. I'm about as religeous as... well IF I was Christain I would go to church on Easter and Christmas. Maybe a little more than that.
I'd love to have some one teach me, but there aren't any good... recources I can find. I want someone to talk to, but have yet to find someone.
And not to be rude but while I can somehow beleive in Wicca, it's hard for me to think of vampires as really. I know that there is a deasise that makes a human need blood, but I want all little prove.
As to Wicca, like I said, I can belaive in it, I could any way. But I don't. My religeon... isn't really a religeon. It's... It's difficult to explain, because I take consepts from other ones. So if any one wants to tell about their religeon please do! (PM's preverably)

I've been studying paganism for about 5 years, and I'm solitary eclectic. I was raised Roman Catholic, and maybe I would have stayed that way, but I find that it breeds a hateful, hypocritical type of people that I wanted no part of. 3nodding But I am not rabidly anti-Christian like I've seen a lot of (fluffy) pagans are.

Although I was brought up on Roman catholic stuff via my mom's side of the family, I was also raised with an open mind (A good gamer's quality wink ) My grandpa on my dad's side is into geneology, so if I spent time going through it with him I'd know exactly what kind of human mutt I am, but I know I have some irish roots, some celtic roots specifically my grandmother (on my mom's side) pointed out a family name in a book on drudic magic I had checked out from the library and mentioned I'm a relation (can't recall which name... sweatdrop )...
I don't really follow any one religion, I was baptised, but I don't stock any real faith in catholisism(sp), I've had alot of goth friends and picked up a few of the mannerisms, but I don't really come off as goth in ANY form of the lifestyle... I practice mostly insignificant Drudic and Wicca stuff, even a bit of japanese culture. I do (Drudic/celtic) wards, and the occational Ofuda (japanese spirit wards). I can channel my enegy, but not very well, it's extended the life-span of a few of my electronics though wink , probably not seriously, but eitherway, it lets me to something more than bash something that stops working..

But, alas, christianity took over that country too long ago, and i have strugged to undertand my bloodroots and thier powers for a while now. i know that i my not speak out of as much experience as some other people here can, but i can speak out of my knowledge and reasearch that i have done.

I was raised catholic, but I've been looking into several other religions. Could anyone provide any sites or something that could be PMed to me? I've researched a lot of psychic-esque things (psipog.net all the way), energy work, so I'v ebeen extremely interested in magick and things of that nature. I own a few books, but its hard to sort through whats fluffy or not. I'm extremely into elements and working with nature and such, which is why I had looked to Wicca. Could anyone provide some links or basic information?
