namida_no_chi Maybe you can get like little watches (inexpensive ones), and dress them up with lace, and beads etc... I could probably do that whee oh thats a cute idea... an dmost sotre have those make your own watches.. but i know people who can make ones that don't break with the least little bit of comtact!

Mae, I'm already opening an online store for Lolita. ^^;; Wow, small world. We could affiliate and stuff, I suppose. (I do custom Cosplay orders, as well.) I just need to get material, and zippers, and velcro, and stuff. I have sewing skills and a sewing maching...
I love all of the ideas you have. ^^ (I'll be doing auctions from my store-site for totally custom outfits, as well...) I hope your "store" works out good.

I could help out with either store this summer (when I have more time to sew, knit, and such) 3nodding so if either of you wishes for me to help out this summer I can, and by then I'll be better at sewing than I am now xd

Heh, I too am considering offering commissions over the internet. I've only done them for people I know, mostly, but they are always completely custom. However I'm also interested in having my own line of clothing, accessories, and patterns. I'm not sure how to go about the brand name thing, since I don't think I'll be making enough of a profit to really call it a business, or pay taxes on it.

Maybe since so many people are doing stores and stuff, we could make one big website for everyone's stuff (I could make the website, and anyone who would be willing to help). People who do custom outfits, we could have people request certain outfits (up for customization), anyone else who wants to sumbmit certain dresses, jewelry, etc, we can put those up (and of couse if ti's only one of a kind, we take it down when someone has ordered it), AND we can have an e-bay store where we put certain items, and link it all to The Lolita guild store website. And THEN who ever submits an item for the site, and then their item is sold, we send them the profits 3nodding Of course we'd have to have people who submit items for sale send pictures of the items, and have like... a pay pal acctount. Then we have each item someone has submitted, linked to send the payment to the appropriate account (the account of whoever offered up their items). We can also put our website on Google and other search engines so not just e-bay users will know about it. whaddaya think?

I think those are wonderful ideas, so soon as my cousin (he works for bellsouth itself so it helps) get to finish setting up the lolita society will have an up and running website, included in the commissions part of it i'd like to make more of a list of people who are availible to do desses or items or who are just kinda cleaning out their closets.
I've learned from years of cosplaying that pooling resources to get things accomplishd is the best way to get things done.

oo I really like the clothes on the main page. What the girl is wearing.... <3 coolness! ALSO! Get some black and white striped stockings if possible.I can never find stockings. I think a black corset with white ribbon across is criss-crossing would be grand. With maybe straps and some lacey, poofy shoulders with the same lacey cloth going down with it tighter at your upper arms and then hanging down and loose from your elbow down. xd
