Her hand was back! He was confused more now than he was before, but this looked like it might be fun. He laughed when she saw her waving her fingers at him. She was a fun lady!
Starry's ear twitched, she could hear her son laughing. "Excuse me for a moment Hula Bob, this is the first time that my son has laughed." She said, hopping off her board and walking over to see what Luau Lulu was doing to make him laugh.

Luau LuLu giggled. "Oh, it was just my power." She smiled and then put her hand into the tree again so that Starry could see what she was doing. Luau LuLu smiled at the baby and Starry.
"Awesome." Hula Bob then walked around to see how they were doing.

Her hand dissapeared again! She really was a fun lady. Junior laughed a bit more as Luau Lulu put her hand back into the tree.
"It's the first time that he has laughed at anything." She said, watching Lulu put her hand through the tree. Starry smiled, forgetting her control and started glowing faintly. "I just hope he doesn't have the same restrictions as I do when he gets older." She mumbled, keeping a bit of nighttime sky over Lulu, Junior, and herself. She smiled and walked back over to her surfboard and resumed copying Hula Bob.
Junior looked up at the stars that were over his head and seemed to be patchy in the sky. Why were they over him and not anyone else?

Regan chuckled at his son and tried what he had learned from before. He swayed with the board and then started waved his arms in the air. He tried to regain balance, but instead fell off! He blushed and then slowly got back on the board.
Woobie laughed at his son. He didn't inherit his agility, maybe his daughter had? Woobie was now doing a handstand on the board with ease. "This is awesome!" He said to coin one of Bob's phrases.

Luau LuLu looked up at the sky. "Very nice." She smiled back down at the baby. "That's your Mommy's power. One day you'll have one too!" She winked.
Tiki Jim watched his dad and both grandpas. His grandpas were very good at it while his dad wasn't. He chuckled and tried more himself.
"Don't worry Regan, you'll get it. Awesome Woobie, Tiki Jim and Starry. Now do we want to head for the water?" He asked them with a smile and wink.

Junior smiled, the lady was talking to him. He squeaked and looked up at the sky, seeing all of the same things that his mother had on her in it.
Starry gulped. "Water?" She hadn't been swiming before, the woods didn't seem the best place to learn to swim, or even surf. She looked shocked for a moment before smiling and thinking that she was here to learn new things. "AS long as I don't have to swim in very deep water." She said with a giggle in her voice.

Hula Bob looked at Starry for a moment. "Yeah, I think just the shallow part of the water first. That way you all can get the hang of standing on it on water?" He wondered if Starry could swim or if she needed a bit more help?
"I'm ready when you are Hula Grandaddy." Tiki Jim said with a smile and nod.
Luau LuLu giggled. "Now, if my Hula Daddy made some fireworks in that sky it would be even more awesome." Not that she didn't think it was already.

Starry let out a sigh of relief and nodded. Shallow water wouldn't hurt her if she fell in. she would probably be able to stand in it if she stayed close enough to the beach. "That sounds good." She said in a diminished voice, still slightly afraid of the water even if she could stand in it.
He smiled, she was talking about something htat his mother could do and was complimenting her! He wondered for a moment what 'fireworks' were, but he was sure if the fun lady was talking about them in the same sentence as his mother then they had to be good.

Regan stood back up and nodded to Bob. He had to get the hang of this! He wanted his son to be proud of him...He took the board and followed the rest of the paes.
"Alright! We're going in the water!" Good think Kymo wasn't here...she would hate the idea of Regan and Tiki Jim being in the water. Her fear and all. He wonder breifly about her and what she was doing.

"Alright, put your boards on the water and for now just try sitting on them. Next you'll try standing." Hula Bob showed them what he meant by putting his board on the water and sitting on it with his legs hanging off each side.
Tiki Jim pushed his board and watched it float. He then waded out into the water and sat on it. He didn't look much like his Hula Grandaddy, because his leggs were to short.
"Good job Tiki Jim and Regan!" Luau LuLu called to her two boys. She smiled down at the baby.

Regan pushed his board out near Tiki Jim, "I'm going to try this near you, ok?" He wanted to watch over his son, as well as learn how to surf. Regan slowly sat on the board, without falling this time.
Woobie went to the other side of Tiki Jim, "I'll be on the other!" Woobie said with a wink. He did a small flip and landed on his board to sit just like Bob. This sent a small waved to the other surfers.

Starry picked up her board and placed it in the water. It floated like all the others had. Slowly she waded into the water, sitting on her board. "Okay... This seems almost too easy." She said, forgetting that they were only sitting on their boards. She looked over at Hula Bob, wondering what the next step would be.
The lady spoke again. He was having fun with her, more fun than he had when he had been with his brother and father.

"Lookit your mommy." Luau LuLu said as she showed the boy to them. She smiled and waved to Regan and Tiki Jim. She giggled and waved. This was fun to watch.
Hula Bob smiled. "Very good. Now if you can, stand up dudes and dudette!" Hula Bob stood on his and looked over at the others.
"Okay, Daddy and Grandaddy." Tiki Jim then looked over to Hula Granddaddy and smiled. He used his arms and tail as balance as he stood up on his board.

Junior looked at who the fun lady was waving at, then he saw his mother looking rather nervous. He laughed and waved to her, maybe she would come back if she heard him like she did last time.
Starry looked behind her at the shore, delaying standing up. She smiled as Junior waved at her, waving back. "Okay, now or never." She muttered, standing slowly. "Ahhhh!" She had lasted three seconds before she fell. She splashed about in the water for a moment, trying to gain footing. She had forgotten they were in the shallow water. Quickly she sat back on her board and attempted standing again. Starry was able to stand this time, though still slightly shakey.

Reagan smiled at Jim and then slowly tried to stand on his board. He wiggled his arms in the air and then finally stood still. Every once in a while his arm would jut out to keep his balance.
"This is gonna be GREAT!" Woobie smiled and stood up on his board. He smiled and winked at his son and grandson. "What's next Hula Bob?"
