And whilst the two cubs conversed?
Kiburi was slinking off, backing up as she went, her movements slow and pained but showing an eagerness to leave. Hopefully they'd remain focused on one another so that they wouldn't notice her...hopefully.
She needed to get back to Zezzie!
Her heart pounded in time with her footsteps and finally when she deemed herself far away enough she turned and began to head off towards the dens, hoping that the two cubs wouldn't give chase.
She doubted they would, for she was only a slave after all.

Damu had finally been able to stray from his mother's side, a smile over his maw as he padded over the golden sands. He was talking to himself, apparently in absense of a more playful playmate, he had made up an imaginary friend and what a friend it was.
You could make it any colour, any animal, any size and any gender you wanted it to be.
And personally he liked it that way.
However as he strolled aside his invisible chum, he saw the sight of two cubs apparently wrestling, or so it looked that way to him. Maybe he could join in.
It looked fun.
"Come on Kobola." He muttered to his imaginary pal, before trotting over towards the pair of cubs, not noticing the slave till the last minute and that made him pause.
Blinking and looking at the cream female curiously.

Ny had left the brothers and was happily looking for her brother. "Tamu, oh Tamu!" She spoke rather loudly in her annoying mocking voice. She saw Damu soon but the scent on the wind was her brothers and a strange other, she didn't care for the stranger.
She trotted over the last dune where she could see Damu, Kib, her brother and a strange female who didn't interest her. Her golden eyes were set on the pelt of her mothers that some how her good for nothing brother had inherited. Her white pelt may be different and strange but that didn't matter to her, after all the strangers pelt was totally black.
She trotted down with a smirk on her face, her head held high. She ignored the slave, they were worth nothing. She looked at the black femme and smirked. "Please move away from my brother, he is my unfortunate toy and not yours." She spoke sharply, not really caring whether or not this cub was a princess (thought she didn't know) or not.
She wasn't one for protectiveness over her brother but when your playtoy is being intimadated (from what she could see) by a younger and smaller female, its only her duty to step in and show how pathetic and weak her brother truely is.

Zenoni scanned the horizon carefully, his eyes fixing on the cream colored blob in moments. He rushed over to Kiburi's side, egnoring the array of cubs that had started to pop up everywhere. He had been looking for an opertunity to escape Teleka all morning, and as soon as her back was turned, he ran. "Kiburi, are you alright?" He said lowering down to her side and giving her a loving nuzzle, a look of concern on his face. Where had the young spirted thing he had first met gone? It was now replaced by a shell of a lioness, weak and skittish. It was all because of these lions- theses Firekin. The thought of what they had done to her made his fur bristle. He glanced at the cubs, the young ones. They already were being trained to be the same way, cold and unfeeling to others pain. "Come on Kiburi," he said nudgeing her side, "you dont need to bow to these cubs." He needed to get her back to the cave, to make her better. Maybe someday, with the right care, the old Kiburi would come back.

So many cubs everywhere...so many taunting, strange and horrid cubs! Her eyes darted wildly from side to side as she continued to back up, not liking the feeling of being alone and somewhat surrounded.
She was weak, alone and rather scared and she knew if they turned on her that would be it.
Life would be over.
And yet suddenly the air filled with a scent that was so familiar and so very comforting. Zezzie! She turned her head to blink at him and found ehrself smiling despite the situation she had gotten caught up in. "Oh Zezzie! T-there you are." She felt tears brim in her empty eyes but held them back, rubbing her face against his neck to rid herself of them. "I was j-just coming to l-look for you." She raised herself up from the ground a little and moved to press herself closely to him, taking comfort in the security she felt when he was around.
"Where ha-have you be-been?" Her eyes automatically scanned his body for wounds and found herself extremely glad to find nothing marring his beautiful brown coat.

Tamu's body tensed as three separate scents became strong, lingering figures, sifting silently through the waves of heat and over the sand dunes. His eyes watched, moisture on his nose collecting all three smells and separating them into known and unknown categories. His sister's fowl odor stood out the most, and her irritating voice that seemed to belch into the dry air wafted towards him at an alarming rate. He felt the fuse blow, and his eyes began a quick and slick slant, slitting open just barely. A low, rumbling snarl curled into the surrounding perimeter as Ny claimed him as her play toy, stating firmly that the black female was to leave him be. The other two were foreign to the young male, and as they approached, each one becoming visible in the light, he ignored them all. The slave could go, he could care less really--all the while she'd be in this land, or else fleeing, and each one was a good thing for the Firekin pack. Why would they round lion's up, captivating them and harming them if they were wanted?
Flicking his tail, he took action, running his nearest shoulder into his sister's mass, bumping all his might against her. 'I don't belong to anyone, especially not you, mongrel. Just run home before some unfortunate lion has the craving for scrawny lionesses.' arching a brow, he emitted another snarl, this time peeling back his lips. His form had already previously been lifted, head curved and lifted with prestige. His sister was the weak of the two, she was the youngest and she was going to be taught her place. Keeping his tail lifted, curled and stiffened, he looked away from Ny and looked to the other lion who had entered the scene. Pushing in front of both females, he walked past them and spoke aloud to the new comer, eyes a blaze with a raging anger. 'And who are you, hm?'

The male cub watched what went on, smiling as his white cousin entered the fray and went to converse with her brother. However, he had to gasp as the bright red male seemed to attack his sister...and for no reason! She was only having fun right?
It was only till the red male approached him could he sense the anger, ears flattening as his blue eye's watched him closely.
"I'm uhh...heh...." He said nervously, his throat dry.
He couldn't talk. Fear was a common friend of him, however in the back of his mind he was mentally prodded by the imaginary paw of his invisible cohort.
Damu took a gulp and he stood tall, puffing out his chest.
"Uhhh...I'm Damu, your cousin...and...well...It wasn't nice to do that to your sister!"
The last part of his words, sounded quite agitated too! Brows furrowing at his younger cousin.

Koka was fuming over the words being said to her! How could those insolent, snot-nosed commoners say such things to their princess? She was royalty! They had no right to speak to her in such ways. Well they would all regret it in the end. One day she would take over the pride, even if it means death to her older siblings. Oh yes, on day Koka would take over and all these insignifigant brats would cower before her. Just the thought of it made her grin.
Koka quirked an eyebrow at Ny. "I wouldn't dream of ever -playing- with this big lump. Not when he doesn't know how to properly address his betters." She spoke scathingly. "In fact, I am not sure why I deal with all of you." Koka picked herself up and padded up the side of the dune with all the grace a princess would poses. "One day you'll all learn and bow to me like you should." With that said Koka dissapeared behind the dune, heading off to the dens.

The two females were lost in Tamu's head now, and all he focused on was the male that seemed fearful at one point. Good. 'Cousin, aye?' came a raspy voice. Tamu was, admittedly, shocked however was equally annoyed. Just because he was blood now, didn't put him in any position to tell him how he should treat his sister. 'Well I won't say sorry for what I did. She's worth that and more really--it'll just take time to get all the punishment she deserves.' a morbid grin passed his lips, brilliant brown eyes now dimmed with the aggression that he with held at all times. His tassel moved now, paws lifting and putting him into motion again. His approach towards his cousin, Damu it was, came slow and steady, however he zigzagged his way towards the other male, head bobbing slightly. 'Just because you are part of my blood...' a dramatic pause came through, allowing Tamu to toss his tuft of hair and stiffen his tail. 'Doesn't make what I do to that creature any more your business then it does this dirt. What are your parent’s names?'
It was an odd question for family to ask, however Tamu had yet to meet any of his cousins, or at least to his knowledge he hadn't met any, and so this could easily be considered an innocent inquiry.

Ny had quite instantly attacked her brothers eyes clawing at him, she then rushed over to him and Damu. She laughed as her brother spoke badly to their cousin.
"Oh Tamu, what a mistake you make... he has two you wouldn't want to mess with...big guys, one is interesting and would squash you like a bug, the other seems far too controlling." She snickered. Her brother had no brains. He was stupid. She wasn't.
"Damu, ignore what the brute says, he doesn't think... his claws do." She circled them a little, a smirk drawn on her face, this would be amusing.

Damu's white tipped paws edged back, head rearing up high as his ears perked up atop his head. His younger cousin frightened him as he approached in the way his mother would a cornered gazelle before delivering the final blow. He gulped.
"My parents are Kavuasi and Mpeka...and...a-and it's my business if it ends up in one of my family getting hurt!" He snapped, the fur on his back bristling slightly as he watched his younger cousin closely.
The bristling stopped as Ny' spoke and he gave a more friendly smile.
"Wow, you met Naraka and Ra?" He asked curiously, only to turn back and look at his male cousin, still in that defensive stance.

Naraka and ra; good information to withhold. Tamu felt the wind from his sisters fast slashing, however paid it little heed while approaching his cousin. Damu, also good information to keep in the back of his mind and as he stopped, his sister soon following close on his tail, he lowered onto his haunches, hackles beginning to bristle slightly. 'Oh yes Ny I only think with my talons, however you should try and not follow in my footsteps, seeing that that lash out against me could have cost you an arm and a leg.' A low snarl curdled the end of his words, a brow lifting and arching. Afterwards, he took another smooth step across the glittering, warm sands, eyes now focused on Damu once more. His stare was intense, for such a young cub, yet there also stood the dimmed excitement of meeting a family member beside his brutish sister. How he despised her so. 'What a weakness you bare, dear cousin Damu. But, gladly, I don't share the same--how morbid it must seem that I, Ny's own brother, would find pleasure in harming her...and I wouldn't give a zebra's bottom if anyone felt against it.'
Ny's words came to his ears once again, and a piercing instant of pain seemed to pass through each hark--her words like stepping into scolding metal. 'Oh yes, I'm sure anyone bigger then me could squish me--it's only common sense. However something that seems to come to my mind is--how do you know them? Bad confrontation I presume?' he slicked his mane to the side with a toss of his head. 'To bad I wasn't there to point and laugh' A cocky chuckle muffled into the air, eyes flicking to his cousin for a moment. Damu was something of a pleasure to see, and someone he wouldn't mind getting to know, however at this moment, Ny seemed to switch on the ugly in Tamu'meka and so that's all he showed.

Her ears pricked up as Damu spoke their names. So thats what they were called. "Yes I have met them both. I got on rather well with the stronger of the two he spoke well though his brother, ever so controlling seemed somewhat jealous of my presence." She smirked at her brother. "Oh no dear brother, allies are far better then problems... I know them both and have not fought either. Not everything is done to violence but then you have to brain to say otherwise." She stretched her body and decided to eventually sit next to Damu, a little behind him as to respect her elder, even if he wasn't that much older.
Her golden eyes watched her brother. He was useless in her eyes and one who would fail. She had more interesting things on her mind and had to go and find one of the brothers at some point, she had things to discuss, things her brother was to dumb to understand.
