People who send out PMs purely for the purpose of attacking someone's orientation need to have their asses kicked. I'm serious. It's just not okay behavior in my mind.

I haven't ever received a nasty or degrading PM because I support gay rights, or the advancement thereof, nor have I ever been critiqued by even some of the more disgusting people I find myself forced to debate with.
I do receive quite a few pms telling me I'm a murderous, NAZI pig for being a communist though :p (funny really, in that the NAZIs hated communists more than jews, the disabled, and homosexuals).

I've been called a c**k loving f*****t over a PM before, but I know the person in RL who did it and I told the principal at our school. She didn't do anythign about it, but she never does anythign anyways. He left me alone after that ^^

If people don't listen to reason that's their problem but both of these people seemed to have kind of just let it go when given a polite and decent explanation.

Very much so, I'm against harm of any kind so a** kicking is out of the question. Many people will listen to reason if you are collected about it, and those who don't should be ignored, so I think bakatulip had the right idea

Ugh, I've had conversations w/ people like that before. Only they gave up. I'm just too hard headed sometimes xp . Lol. She called me "distgusting", "gross", and a "freak", lol. But I did the same thing you did and kept a level head, and used facts and solid explinations to back myself up. She got so frustrated, lol.
