Kupi-Chan MiLK` Kupi-Chan I really like the ones that swirl around your ears. I saw some pictures on bmezine, and loved it. They had some when I went to get my labret done, but apart from being too large for my ear, they were also 85 bucks. So.. yeah. xd Some jewlery, especially larged gauged jewelry is either extremley expensive because of the fact they're large and because they could be a custom style. Most custom jewelry is expensive. =/Yeah, this was a rather large one, and was made of ivory, I believe. That or bone, I wasn't sure. Swirly Ear-thing, for lack of better name. Yeah I've seen those before. How about this :

whee So. Last night, I went with my friend to the piercing place. He had his stretched up to a 6 and an 8 (One of his ears was previously stretched to a 4) and I discussed stuff with the piercer. Well, I ended up stretching up to a 14. Could have gone to a 12, but the 14 was making it sting quite a bit, so I quit while I was ahead. I still have a labret to heal up after all. xp But I can go back in 2 weeks to stretch up 2 more guages.

If it feels extremley painful or you start to bleed, remove the jewelry! X3; It really shouldn't be too awfully bad. Using vaseline or doing it in the shower is the best time to stretch.

I had started to stretch before, but my mom realized I was when I hit 10g. So she got mad. So I took them out for a while, and they never really fully closed to whatever it was when I got them done.
Girls tend to have bigger ear holes than boys because they also tend to play with their earrings more. I found that out one day online somewhere. So that also might be why boys have to start larger and girls start at 12g or 14g.
At any rate, good luck. They'll be sore for a day or two.

And, since I didn't stretch them that much, in 2 weeks I can do it again if I feel up to it. But I have these huge captive rings in, and they're both 14g.. Which means they'll fit my nose and my labret. xd altho, it looks a bit large for my nose. O.o;;

O.o;; I like captive rings for other ear piercings or nipples or something, but for my septum, I use the horseshoe rings and for ears I mostly use plugs. If you get too big in your ear, and use captive rings/horseshoe rings, they'll droop down and I think that looks hideous.

I'm going to go to plugs, but they didn't have any tunnels or plugs in the size I needed, and there was no way I was going to a 10g. I watched my friend get his down first, and he found it painful. So I was like "Dude.. if he thinks it hurts, I'm not trying." Mind you, this is my friend with the PA. xd

When I got my tongue pierced and was dealing with the scar tissue during it's healing, my piercer told me that if the scarring didn't clear up I could try to hide it by stretching my piercing with a bigger piece of jewelry. My piercing is a standard 14g, and I was told that I could jump directly down to a 10g if I felt like or needed to stretch my piercing. Apparently a 12g isn't really enough of a change to need between the two. xp

Most of the people I've talked to said they didn't even feel it. But pain is different for everyone.
But at any rate, just take it slow and you'll be fine.
