Reine's mind was in a daze at all the events that took place. It started with the hair being tucked behind her ear and then her mind went *poof* beyond that. She hadn't even realized it until after that he tucked the blanket around her.
"A-aah..." She stared at him in surprise, her face once again flushed. She couldn't help it, her heart had began to pound so hard it almost hurt. "T-t-... T-thank you..." She stuttered, casing her eyes off Lex as she was beyond embarrassed.

When she started to stutter, what Anya had been saying became very apparent. He watched her blushing face for a moment, then slowly sank down to sit beside her. Maybe he had gone too far? But he really hadn't done much more than be himself today. He had not tried to win the little one's attentions. Surely he was reading too much into her blushing and stuttering.
"De nada little Reine Cloud," he smiled. He studied her again for a moment, then cast a glance over towards Anya's door. He didn't want to be unjustly accused of flirting, so he turned back to Reine with a bright smile.
"We are friends, yes?" he asked with a smile.

She was silent for a moment as she turned her face up at Lex once more, nodding a bit. "Yes... We are." She said lightly, then turned her face away again. "I should walk you out..." She muttered and slowly began to sit up. Wow the room was spinning a bit and she wasn't sure if it was the fever or the sudden emotions she was feeling.

Lex reached out and gently pushed her back into the sofa, then retucked the blanket around her.
"No no, little Cloud. I can walk myself out. You stay here and keep warm. I do not want you getting sicker," he smiled warmly. He leaned over and gave her a quick peck on the cheek then lightly patted her head before rising to his feet.
"I shall see you soon little one," he smiled at her, then started towards the door.

Reine watched Lex leave, and it wasn't until after the door shut that she allowed herself to move. She reached up and touched her cheek, a small smile on her face. Two kisses fromt he same guy! What were the odds! Her smile grew as she snuggled into the couch, closing her eyes and beginning to doze off as she drempt of what would never come but what she longed for!
