You could be one of the "eyes" of our body. The church is often described as a body. Some people can visually see demonic spirits around other people. Some people hear them, I'm sure. Some people are told things by God, some see the future, some can share people's thoughts or emotions (that's mine. :XP smile . Some can heal people, some can rebuke demons, etc.
God knew about these gifts, and he told us to nurture them and use them for the good of His name on earth. I must admit, I wouldn't mind the ability to sense demons and angels. God has made his presence felt to me, but that's it.
You've got a tremendous gift. The most important thing, though, as with any person, is that you continue to obey God and to follow his instructions. Kudos on that, btw.

thrashmetaljunkie i wasn scared, mind you i walk this path almost everyday, and i walk by that bridge everytime, it was only tha once tha he told me to turn around, plus, i've been being attacked mor,e n more lately...its getting really hard to hold on. i guess God lets me sense them so i can stay clear, because for some reason, i'm feeling really weak lately...both emotionally and physically...blah...its hard...and tell me why i can talk to some one whos 5 countries away from me, and i can sense if they have a demon with them or not??? and then when they rebuke, i dont sense it anymore??? i was on a mountain yesterday...walking up it with my parents...and i sensed them again..my dad rebuked, and i didn sense them anymore...can you explain tha please?? AND after he rebuked, i sensed angels all around us, i wasn scared, i live to b outdoors, i love it, the walk was nothing for me..tho i cant say the same for my parents...i'm not making this up 2 seem cool, cuz i'm not like tha, i just wanna kno why the hell i'm the one tha has to sense them, cuz i dont really want it...i get so uncomfortable when i sense them...and it tires me 2...

it's a gift God gave to you, he knew you would be one that he could use for greater purposes that succeed most christians nowadays

Ziarreneo Crimson_Enigma Ziarreneo There is nothing in the Bible that supports that anyperson can "sense" a demon. The only thing I can think of "sensing a demon" is being scaried when you think something is watching you in a dark corner. on the contrary, it DOES say we are given gifts from God, irrevolcable gifts. Romans 11:29- for the GIFTS and the calling of God are irrevocable. what gifts you ask? ALL KINDS of gifts, we are each gifted in many ways either opposite of one other or similar. for instance there is ALOT of artists out there like me who have a similar talent or greater talent then me. and regarding demons, it seems we have a group of people here who can sense a demon. but "sensing" is more of a nartual human act mainly dealing with intuition. everyone has an ability of intuition, however some are more IN TUNE with their intuition than others.

SaintXenos however, gifts can be considered a curse. i DONT like the fact that i can "sense" something is there. i DONT like the idea that there is something evil in my house. it gives the MOST uncomfortable feelings and it makes it hard to sleep at night. i kno, i get so uncomfortable when i sense them, my stomach starts to churn and i feel weak...physically, i feel weak tha is, but i still feel quite strong spiritually, strong enough that "rebuke" is the first thing tha comes, i dun think bout it, it just happens...but..it does help me pray for people, cuz i can think bout them, n tell if its a demon, or an angel with em...so i guess its good in tha aspect...but i h8 the feeling i get...angels tho, thas a different story, its the most comfortable feeling ever, like being in church worshipping God, it ignites a flame inside me. 1 touched me last night, it was cool ^^

The closer you get to God the more sensitive you become to things. It's nothing out of the ordinary of being a christian.

It depends, Ive never met you, but so far you dont srtike me as crazy. Try and pray about it ALOT, make sure that god really is giving you this ability. Remeber that the deciples had this ability, but also remember that the deciples were like jesus' best buds.
And dont get freeked out. Eather god or satin did this to you, I suggesst you find out wich one before you do ANYTHING.

I've NEVER exactly sensed anything......But as Christians we CAN encounter the supernatural, like healing miracles and angels.....Not exactly demons though....I REALLY hope that your sensing things like that for a very good reason! You need to bind demon spirits by the name of Jesus! It would be bad to get involved with satanic forces because they come from the devil and hell.

One hit me pretty hard the other day...and i was depressed the whole day..but then God told me i didnt have the luxury of quiting so i hit back, HARD. i said a few mean prayers, and rebuked him like you wouldn believe. I rebuke every demon, the slightest feeling, i rebuke. also, when i was hit, i couldn sense nething..after i had hit back, i could sense clearly again. i think its from God...^^

He might be able to help. maybe you will become a saint biggrin me, a saint, i've failed way too much to be a saint, i'm not as holy person, only a spiritual soldier, who gets in constant battles, and wins...99.9% of the time ^^ and i win because i stand firm in my faith in God, that he will protect me, and anything they do to me, will only make me stronger, in my walk with God, and my ability to fight back with prayer. I can feel demons about, then when i pray, i can feel God as he comforts me, and then i feel angels as they surround me and keep me safe. there is one demon..wh has constantly been coming back..looks like a werewolf..and hes the ONLY one i've seen, and that i can see. I feel him, then i can see him..not in my normal sight..but in a different one, like i have seperate eyes, and i can see him with them. i got him hurt pretty bad with a nice prayer earlier..and i'm happy again ^^ been happy all day actually...^^ i kno, a lil creepy. but i'm cool with it all now.

thrashmetaljunkie ok...the other day..i was walking in the woods...God told me to go back home, so i turned around, and went back home...half way there, i realized why he wanted me to turn back...i woulda gone under a bridge..under this bridge...is ALOT of satanic spray paintings...i've always gone by there, but i've never been told to go back..well when i visioned the bridge...i sensed demons, and it creeped me out...now i can sense demons, i can sense their presence...n earlier today..i sensed demons....then i sensed light...i'm not sure if it was another warrior of God, angels, or a battle (angles) but i sensed it, and i dont fully understand it...i'm not quite sure how to use the one i deicovered today, but i have found out how to sense demons, i just have to stop and pay attention if they're a bit away..but if they're right there with me, i sense them, STRONGLY. does anybody know whats going on? is this a gift tha God has given me to help better fight the forces of evil? or has he given it to me to help those shrowded and haunted by demons? i'm so...i dunno, its so obscure...any thoughts??? This isn't a fantasy war y'know. If anything, God was just telling you to stay anyway from that place. Don't go messing around with those kind of powers, just stick anyway. That's God's business, not yours. ninja

What you have is a gift. I think that the holy spirit allows us to reach a level, not everyone, since everyone's walk with God is different, in which you have been allowed to sense and see demons. So that's a pretty cool gift, which comes with a lot of responsibility. Dude you have to pray about it.

You can *sense* demons? Yeah right. If i accept you can sense demons, logically demons must be affecting the world. First, i think that is a lazy cop out. Second, i think it is a paranoid delusion you should speak to a shrink about. If demons are real, then we can safely assume they have mortal followers, as does god. If you have a supernatural ability, so to must the followers of demons. About now is when WB would step in and add cheesy romances, then air it on primetime networking. Next you will be telling me there is a war going on, and the people who have these abilities are fighting for god. Sorry, but the real world does not work that way. The bible does not say you will be forced to deal with demons. You are not fighting demons. You did not "rebuked him like you wouldn believe." Consider checking yourself into a mental institute. You need it. P.S. I know people in the bible did confront demons (well, in the NT they did). However, those people also brought the dead to life.
