WHOA
k, good. My nerdiness began when my brother gave me his magic cards. I still play it now and then and I have the most rootin tootinest black deck ever. Yeah. Thats where that WHOA comes in. In 7-10th grade i only had friends who played magic n such. Me and my brothers made countless rpg systems, played them for probably a month and then made a new one. Ive played shadowrun once, ive made an earthdawn character, ive made a dungeons and dragons character, and ive watched people play dungeons and dragons twice. WHOA. yeah. Lo, I have no gamer friends anymore, so i want to learn d20 so i can make friends with people who play it. My handle is Valrech but you can call me The Five Percent Nation of Valrech Rocks My Socks.

I havent been into RPG like this for long but I am getting the hang of it. Its easy when you play too many rpg video games.
As for the fact of my MIA lately, I am on my externship for PCT *patient care tech* and that means three days a week of work for 12 hours. So I get tired and am tired alot of the time. In three more weeks I will be done and hope to spend at least a month home relaxing.
Anyways, I love people to talk to and love to just talk randomness. so drop me a line

Hello everyone. I've been gaming for about 14 years. I started out with miniature wargames (battletech mostly) but then I heard about something called role-playing games. smile I have got the GMing itch again so I'm kicking around a a few ideas for games.

I've never played BESM before, but BoWP sent me the invite during our conversations about the Tri-Stat dX system, so I thought I'd check it out. As for anime, I'm not really a major fan. Don't get me wrong, here, I love the gory, excessively violent, utterly demented, classics of the mid-90's, and the modern masterpieces, but I don't go in much for the new-school, monster-trainer, card-game-come-to-life, teeny-bopper stuff. The anime's I like are the ones that are so deranged that they could never be made into live-action films, like Ninja-Scroll, Urotsukidoji, Pet-Shop of Horrors, Biohunter, Vampire Hunter D, and all of the other classic, disturbing, demented, deranged, attrocious, violent, utterly gratuitous and horrible freakshows that mostly aren't made anymore.
Tri-Stat dX looks like it's got a lot of potential, so I decided to stop on over and see what kind of stuff is going on in this guild. Hey, BoWP suggested it, so it can't be all bad. We'll see...

Wow. You just listed some of my all-time favorite animes! Except Urotsukidoji... (A.K.A The Legend of the OverFiend) that one is a little too much.

I'll say what I did about Urotsukidoji in the Dante Club post,
Most of the movie is just tentacle-rape sequences, but the plot is actually pretty indepth and interesting. The Overfiend/Chojin is essentially the same as Kali/Shiva; a 'Great Purifying Force' that comes to the world to destroy it and make way for the new, perfect world that will take it's place. It's a pretty cool concept if you can actually pay attention through all the schoolgirls getting raped by monstrous tentacle-penises and such. The plot is a bit convoluted and takes some serious concentration to pick out, but it's not just rape-porn. There's a ton of really interesting stuff in there. ((Don't watch any of the four sequels though, they get more and more ridiculous as the series goes on. Yes, I said FOUR SEQUELS))

I think I saw urotsukidoji number 4... that was kinda freaky... since I've not seen any of the others, I really didn't know what to make of it...
anywho... I'm new to the guild, I play BESM on occasion. Lately I've been playing in my husbands campaign. I'm not sure where to find all the links though to make characters for games in the guild... sweatdrop

Welcome to the Guild! I'd start by looking in the D20 Games and D6 Games subforums. Be sure to read the first post of the "join" or "casting call" thread for the game, since that's where we keep all the character creation info for each game. You can also head to the Downloads thread if you need any rules.
