Mari looked at him. Was he telling the truth? Did he really want to be back with her? Her eyes didn't avert. "Do you mean it?" She said in a quiet voice.

It was then that she started crying. She had then brought her gloved hands up to her eyes and wiped them. She didn't want to cry, but being around him caused everything to rush back to her. She kept her hands up to her eyes and looked down so the mask was covering them as well.

Mari could feel he was stronger, but it didn't change the embrace she had known that while back. She had burried her face in his chest and still had tears strolling from her eyes. They had catching up to do. A lot of it. And she was still weary. "I missed you... God, I missed you..."

She smiled and it was the first time she smiled since him being around. Her tears were no longer those of sadness, but those of happiness. "Home... I have my home back, too..."

*Valgar floats inches above the ground, arms folded businesslike across his chest. His wings since retracted, and blade returned, the man frowns at all he sees. Lichens grow against unused walls, vines crawl their way across the windows. Overall, an unused chunk of space in the world, he wondered if anyone even inhabitited it, still... A breeze ruffles Valgar's hair as well as his attention. Along the northern wall a candy bar wrapper scuttles morbidly along the wall, chocolate bits still fresh in the plastic casing... With a smile he looks for the others, his hands waving to and fro as flames scour away the growing lichen and vines across the guild's walls.*

Mari had walked through a portal and looked around. Smash was off training so she decided to look around the place and try to clean up a bit. She had sense a familar energy, though, and looked up to see Valgar. She smiled and waved at him. "Valgar! Long time no see!"
