i just loved it and i wanted her to be together with the phantom, but it wasn't ment to be and so the film made me cry.

i always thought that the ending was rather tragic with the phantom letting her go and then diminishing into the depths of his lair never to be seen again..... crying

Erik, the Phantom of the Opera, is NOT s'posed to be hot. D: But yes, in the movie he is. ;o

phoenix_heart the original phantom was supposed to be really ugly..... but the movie phantom was freakin' hot!!!! and you know, crazy...... but i must confess he is very attractive.

kaida1 i just loved it and i wanted her to be together with the phantom, but it wasn't ment to be and so the film made me cry. yea logically i understand WHY she chose raul but im still infatuated with the idea of her and the phantom being together

CorkeyRomano He's supposed to be disfigured, though. 'swhy he wears the mask. xD But I did like the movie. The girl who plays Christine has an amazing voice. she actually went to an opera school before the movie was made...er, that version of it at least

gerard butler is a hottie, enough said (and his voice is to die for *drools* though i dont understand how is face looks somewhat normal while singing point of no return and then when his mask is pulled off his face looks so disfigured...there is no way the mask was covering that).
i love that movie...though i hate roaul...cant stand him (my friend says it is becuase i alwasy vote for the underdog) and its true...i believe christine belongs with erik, not roaul...raoul (cant even spell his name, see how useless he is?).

I know...I was a little put-off by the way Butler still looked handsome. But hey...can't complain lol. I would've loved to see this movie back when it was originally supposed to come out back in the late 80s/early 90s with Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford. Nevertheless, this was pretty good.

I love the book too though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I read it in 8th grade and have been passionate about it. The language is so beautiful. But the aesthetics of the movie/musical are amazing too so, I love them both equally.
