Favorite Food: Love Japanese food. Chinese food if you go to east coast or west, okay, that's good stuf..but other Chinese food blows, because it's not authentic, and it's dough-gooped and deep-fried and then they drizzle oil over it or something. "Normal" Chinese food that you find in the US is disgusting. I wouldn't feed it to my dog. Italian is okay, kind of depends on where you go. I like most foods actually, I just hate fast food. Mint chocolate chip ice-cream, expresso, and green tea ice-cream are my favorites in the ice-cream category. I will settle for chocolate-chip when I can't find mint-chocolate-chip. Strawberry ice-cream is good once in a while, but I don't really like tons of it. I love dark chocolate, milk chocolate, but white chocolate isn't chocolate. That's just lard with sugar. =P I despise the jelly-filled white-chocolate. That's like...lard+sugar+jam. >.o' Gag me with a spork..... I like pocky. I like plum-wine and sake and most red wines, actually. I don't really like beer. I love seafood and salads, but I also like steak and hearty soups and baked potatoes. heart Dunno. If it tastes good I probably like it. Just..it shouldn't be moving when I'm trying to eat it. Almost anything, I will try at least once before saying no.
Favorite Music: Guns N Roses, Lifehouse, Bon Jovi, LP, Savage Garden's first CD (their second one blows), misc. game & anime CD's.
Hobbies: I like to ski actually. Skiing, snowboarding, fencing, and swimming are my favorite. I love foil and saber but not really epee. I specialize in saber. Swimming-wise, I free and I fly. 100's, 200's. I also like the 200 IM. I'm the flyer for the school's men's 400 relay. Skiing I just do for fun. Snowboarding I do because I cannot let Travis win. blaugh I draw on the side, and collect misc. things. Gaia-wise, I draw. RL, I guess if I were to narrow it to three activities...it would be swimming, fencing, and snowboarding. I love camping, hiking, biking, but I'm mosquito bait. So, I prefer to do activities such as swimming and skiing, because mosquitoes aren't gonna bite me there.
Other: I was born Dec. 11th in St. Petersburg, Russia, grew up in Taoyuan Taiwan until I was 6 because my father had to take care of my grandmother on my mother's side, and at 6 we moved to Edmonton because my uncle was taking care of my grandmother, but then shortly after, we moved back to TW because that uncle lost his job and wasn't able to take care of her. I was homeschooled because during elementary, we moved back and forth a lot, due to my grandmother's health and my father's job. Eventually we settled in Seattle, where my nanny/governess and my tutors finally got me to socialize with the other kids more, and later I entered the public schooling system here in the United States. Because of all of this, I am not a US Citizen, and I just wanted to say, I DID NOT VOTE FOR BUSH. -___-' Oh. It's also why I'm fluent in Russian, English, Taiwanese, French, and Mandarin. Fr. because my tutor. I speak five languages fluently enough to cuss and keep up with current slang, as well as write probably college-level research papers in all five of those languages. I speak two others fluently, but not enough to write essays in them just off the top of my head. It's enough to get by and be understood and hold a conversation, but not enough to write technical papers. I'm told I'm antisocial sometimes. I'm not antisocial, I just don't go out of my way to say hi to every person on the street. That doesn't make sense to me. False friendliness is annoying and stupid. So, I don't do it. I don't mean to be rude, I just think that pretending is even worse. And besides...no need to wave red flags about for the stalkers and psychos.
I guess with respect to Gaia...I'm an a*****e sometimes? Actually, I think Anael and I are the "grumpier" ones in our shop, but it's just that I flat out refuse to let people tread over me just because they're commissioning ******** that yo. Pixelated gold isn't jack to me. If they are rude and assholic and bitchy, I'll drop their commission and snap back at em. The hell with it. It's not worth it..... But as long as people treat my friends and I with the amount of respect we give to others, and as long as people don't beg, or ask stupid questions, or attempt to argue but keep changing the subject, or argue in an insanely ignorant fashion, everything's fine. If you are a reasonable, rational, sane, considerate person, then I'm sure we'll get along fine. If you're a prejudice, sniveling, whining, begging, bitching, PMSing asswipe, then yes, I will bite your head off..and then I'll gut you and stuff your intestines down the remains of your trachea, so that you don't pester other people. wink That'd be my community-service for the week.
I don't hate people. I just don't love without a reason. I want to believe in the best in people...who doesn't?...but I'm a touch cautious. Not jaded persay, but wary.
