I loved this book. I'm not a big fan of historical fiction, but this one touched me. I was moved by the story line. I think what got me to buy it in the first place was that it had to do with Japan and Geisha's, which I find interesting. When I bought it I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised that I turned out to love the story.

I loved the book, but I was really disappointed in the end because of how Pumpkin turned out-in her younger version, she was my favourite character.
