I would really love for them to go back to Dookie cause that is an album we can all really relate to, but the truth is they're a lot older now and probably will go back to Nimrod or American Idiot.

I want another song like "Longview" ..more the style of Dookie. that would be greaaaaat!!!! I love that CD. Man..I wish the 90's were back!!!! Let's bring the 90's back!!!! crying blaugh

I personally love their old stuff and their new stuff....
To me....they're just growing up and taking their talent in different directions....
I don't want them to quit though.....I love them toooo much....

And as for Billie Joe.......He belongs to me....although he may not know it yet.....,I love him more than Adrienne, so hah!!
I'd have to say....I hope I do hear the same spirit in them that made me want to flick off the world and not care....
They were the most fun I ever had....and I......*sniff*....I miss that....*sigh*
I want to be a punk rock star someday!!!
I can sing, and play piano and guitar a little....I just need some groupies!!!

IceintheInk yinala1231 I don't care what it is they decide to do as long as they don't let the media control them. If they stay themselves and their music reflects it in whatever way they seem fit, I'll be happy with what ever it is Green Day does in the future! Exactly! 3nodding That said, though, it would be really cool to hear them continue to experiment. It seems like every one of their albums has had a slightly different kinda sound to it, and I really can't see them settling down into just one sort of style. Oh yeah, and it would totally RULE if Mike and Tre' took lead vocals a little more. Tre' has a fantastic voice, and although I haven't heard Mike yet I bet he's pretty snazzy too! heart heart

wow people really got going with this forum, yay. i'm happy most of us will be here to see their future.

Let's bring the 90's back!!!! crying blaugh they re-did Longview and Minority on AOL Sessions. well not really "re-did" them, but they're really diferent. they use electric for minority instead of acoustic, and longview is kinda different. cool stuffz.
