It looks like 24 hours may be a little too short of a time limit. :3 I'm going to extend it to two days instead of one to make room for all our busy lives.

Speaking of busy lives, unfortunately I'll be leaving this contest prematurely for a two-week period in a few days. I'm going to a writing workshop at our local UVA and won't have access to internet while in the dorms. Don't panic, though! This should not impede your progress at all. Fortunately, the wonderful ShortGreen, owner of Quixana, has proved to be a lifesaver by volunteering to help you guys out while I'm gone.

The most likely thing that's going to happen is that Sonya is going to be 'kidnapped' by the house for a brief period of time, while ShortGreen, and other guardians too if she deems it too big of a task to keep up with on her own, will be playing the house instead of myself.

At the end of my workshop I have an internship at Scripps in CA, but I shall have access to internet and will be able to participate fully in the final two weeks of the challenge!

I do apologize for this. When we first signed up for participation I wasn't sure how long this round would last, so I didn't know if my workshop would interfere. I will still be using the information you gave me and the special posts as soon as I get back. heart

OMG guys, I'm so sorry for being gone so long! Tweek, your 24 hr limit is fine, I just had an unusually crazy weekend/week.

I decided to go away this weekend on pretty short notice, to trail ride with a friend of mine. So we threw a tent and some supplies on the horses and just went. Very spur of the moment, so I didn't really have time to give you notice...and of course I had a helluva lot of work to make up when I got back on PRESSDAY. >_O

Anyhow, I promise I won't disappear again without notice. I don't want it to at all seem like I wasn't excited about this.

I've posted my last post for a while in the thread and you will now be tormented by ShortGreen and company! I can't wait to see what happens when I return. Since I haven't heard from Jack in over a week and because I don't want him tying you two up every turn if he decides not to participate, I've removed the post limit. Since there are only three of you I think it shouldn't pose too much of a problem. In general, wait until at least one other person has posted after you, but then, go ahead and go for it. I don't want anyone to be forced to lag.

Hopefully this'll work, but if you guys are strongly against it, you can ask ShortGreen to restore the posting order.

Just poking my head in to say that I'm braindead tonight but I will be going through everything and then carrying out Our Lady Tweek's wishes... As of tomorrow. 'Cause I'm braindead.

... And I have to give my own team a prod. xd

I'll do my best to deliver! In the meantime, though, I believe it's either Cassi or Jack's go. If they don't post by Thursday, though, I'm going to force it forward. Tweek deserves to come back to some stellar story from you lot and an advanced plot. wink

Hokay...as is obvious I'm sure, I've been gone over the weekend AND have been playing catchup this week. Weekends just aren't good for me in the summer, so I won't be online on them. I'm usually out of town.

Anyhow. I'll do my best to get my rear in gear and post either tonight or, at the latest, tomorrow. If my lack of posting makes it awkward for you guys, then please, definitely, feel free to assume Laron follows your chara or whatever is convenient -- this includes Tweek, ShortGreen and Cassi. smile
