ZZ Top = The Best Classic Southern Rock band of all-time 3nodding
I like their songs "Legs", "Sharp Dressed Man", "Tush", and "La Grange"... They have many more good songs though... How can they not with Billy's great guitar riffs? wink

I must disagree about them being the best southern rock band of all time, but I do enjoy their music.

Harvested Sorrow I must disagree about them being the best southern rock band of all time, but I do enjoy their music. I said... "CLASSIC"... not of ALL TIME.... Back in the old days, they dominated Southern Rock... (No I wouldnt say that Lynyrd Skynyrd is better although they are awesome.)

And I disagree with them being the best out of those. xp I wasn't speaking of Lynyrd Skynyrd. I'd say the best was the Allman Brothers Band. They were just on a completely different level than all the others...

OK....ZZ Top is the Greatest little Rock band from Texas. But thanks to MTV and videos they left the blues infulance of thier music. Check out the first eight albums....
1970 - First Album 1972 - Rio Grande Mud 1973 - Tres Hombres 1975 - Fandango 1976 - Tejas 1977 - The Best of 1979 - Deguello 1981 - El Loco
Of these Fandango is my favorite...one side is live and recorded in Austin.

My favorite song by them has got to be "Cheap Sunglasses." If I could play guitar, that's the first song I'd wanna learn on that. My dad saw them in concert before they became real well known. Get this - THEY WERE CLEAN SHAVEN! Isn't that hard to believe?

I saw them in classic a few years ago, probably when I was in eitehr 6th or 7th grade. They were pretty good, but Ted Nugent definitely stole the show (it was a zz top/ted nugent/kenny wayne shepard concert) razz
but yea, I love ZZ Top, I've been listening to them forever.
