Hewwo, I'm Courtney. I'm 14 turning 15 in a few months. I've been reading the Anita Blake series for a couple years now. I read books 1-8 last year all within a month and a half and every since then i have been totally obsessed. I'm reading all the books for a second time now.

Hey, I'm Lauren and I'm 15. My friend got me hooked on AB just like another friend got me hooked on anime accidentally, (yes, I am an anime fan as well). Let's see...I'm a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo, a fanfiction writer, original fiction writer, pianist, and cellist. I can speak spanish (I am half mexican), write in Korean, speak a little japanese, german, and that's it.
I live in beautiful sunny southern California!!! I love it here! Anyways, as I said, I'm addicted to Anita and a hardcore Anita/Jean-Claude fan! Well, that's it!!

*waves* Hi, I'm Manda ^__^. I'm 20 years old and I started this series about a year or so ago, with Guilty Pleasures. Sad to say, that book didn't really get me hooked. It wasn't until I read the second book a few months later that I really got...addicted...to this series LOL. I ended up buying all the books that were out in the space of about two months and reading them all in that time as well. Then I kept buying the new ones and I currently own all that are out. I even got my mom hooked on them too! ^^

Hi! My name is Jewelie_Gem, but you can call me Jewelie! I'm 15 years old, and I've been reading the Anita Blake series for about a year or two. I've all the books and I can't wait until Incubus Dreams comes out! Um... My favorite charater is Nathaniel, my second favorite is Anita.

Hey, everyone, I'm Cai and I'm 16-going-on-17 (one of the younger members of this guild, I've noticed). I first started reading the AB novels when I was in eighth grade and immediately, I was hooked. By now I've read all of the AB series, along with the Gentry series and Nightseer.
I live in Florida (these freakin' hurricanes stressed ) and I love to read--anything--and write short stories. I have one pet, a nervous and constantly peeing dalmatian named Fiona. I just got my heart first car heart and being the dork I am, I spend a vast majority of my free time sitting in it and grinning like an idiot. I don't actually go anywhere, because I just quit my job and now I have no gas money. sweatdrop
My favorite LKH character of all time is Edward. Anita, obviously, is a close second.
I'm so excited to belong to this forum! *dorkiness shining through again*

Let's see . . I'm 19 and only started reading the Anita Blake series last December. By the end of January or February I'd already finished both the Anita Blake and Merry Gentry series. I'm currently a college student and have my roommate this year to thank for introducing me to Laurell K. Hamilton's work.
It's really hard for me to choose a favorite character, but I'd have to say that Edward is pretty high on the list. He's just such a great sociopath. I'm also fond of Jason; he's not really a major player, but he's just got such a great sense of humor.

Hey, I'm Lauren, 18, a Brit and a friend introduced me to Anita Blake when I was around 15. I love rp so sometimes go by the name of my charatcer Nemri, a random attitudal werewolf!
I love Nathaniel, Jean Claude and Asher...any love I had for Richard went outta the window with those silk boxers.... xp

HI my name is Candace and I'm an alcholholic......Sorry I felt that needed to be said sweatdrop Anyways, I just started read the Anita Blake series last year. Before then I would read mostly Stephen King, but my best friends mother knew that I liked vampire and supernatural books and so she let me borrow her Guilty Pleasures. After I got done with the book I wasn't aware that there was more books to the series (because I went straight to the story not looking at anything else) and now that I am reading the rest of her series I can't stop. They are so well written out and very addictive. *sighs* I wish I was that good of a writer.

Ted here *Eyes shift around* No I don't know anyone named Edward...never heard of the guy, y'all.
Anyway...seriously now. I'm 19 and I'm a sophmore in college. A friend of mine got me reading AB about February, and I've been pleasently hooked ever since.
I started an Anita Blake roleplay here on Gaia...but I think it's dying. Well, that's really about it.

My name is Sarah and I am 23 ^.^
I'm a senior in college(this is my last semester) and I have been reading LKH since the beginning(and I mean the beginning - I read Nightseer when it was first published blaugh ) and had the opportunity to meet her several times and get a number of books signed, which was really cool heart
I'm not as big a fan as I once was and I don't care much for the path the AB books seem to be headed down. Cerulean Sins was a great dissapointment for me, as I felt the mystery was really put on the back burner and virtually ignored(I read in an interview that Cerulean Sins was supossed to be the name of a video store that figured into the murders, but it was edited out) in favour of yet another Anita slut romp. Don't get me wrong, I love steamy sex scenes in my books, but LKHs current stuff is a little too steamy for me - there is simply too much of it. I tend to get very into whatever I'm reading and I usually will read the whole book in a day or two and when there is sex every chapter or every other chapter it just starts to lose it's effect. I actually find myself scanning and/or skipping a majority of the scenes in both the AB and Merry books xd
All that said, I am a big LKH fan and I am looking forward to the next Anita novel(out on the 28th! So soon!), but I really hope she strives to keep the mysteries an important part of the AB series. The mix of action, mystery, and romance is what really drew me to LKH in the first place.
I did some AB related RP for a while where I played Ronnie for about two years on a PBEM heart
I also was involved in a couple of fanfic groups before they were shut down(all voluntarily) after LKH made a big deal about the fact that fan fiction is a no-no xp

Hello, I'm Becky and a sophmore in highschool. I just started reading the AB series this year, and am seriously obsessed. I actually discovered Anita Blake from Buffy crossover fanfiction, which probably makes me even more of a geek...
