((Sorry for the wait all day guys. X3; My best friend turned 18 so I wanted to spend it with her. Sorry it's a little short, but feel free to jump in. ^^))

A sudden breeze swept by the outside of the house. To anyone it would have been rather chilly, but the fur around this boy's neck was rather comforting, even mysterious. His wolf-like ears swiveled from atop his head to the rustling of leaves on the ground. It was a late autumn, soon to be winter a rather favorite time of year for the boy, most of the time.

The gryphon at his feet was rather large, almost a small filly size. She held a quiet, posh air while his ears turned to the sound as well.

'Someone... maybe a few others.'

"I agree, Fortune." The wolf boy grinned. He was excited, he hadn't been this excited for awhile. But the fact that there were people coming, of his kind, the Forgotten, it was rather fun. He'd just have to wait for them.

'We agreed on playing nice, Iqbal.' Fortune eyed her Forgotten slightly at the grin, padding along to the opposite side.

"Of course, of course..." Iqbal smiled with a casual flick from his tail. He really was! In his own, 'fun' way.

{It's good! heart }

On the other hand, there was someone else out and about who shivered under the sparse comfort of a jacket in the cold autumn air. It wasn't Eli. Questions poked her head out of the front of his jacket and just as quickly tugged it back in again when the same breeze came rushing past. 'I can hear my dignity dying.' she complained bitterly. 'Dying! Don't you hear it?'

Elijah purposefully strode through the leaves, loving the noise. He was just as cold but walking fast enough not to care. "I thought that was the wind...but I guess I do hear it. Why?" To be truthful, he wasn't paying attention at all. Questions never kept quiet when there was something to moan about.

'Nobody cares.' the cormorant muttered to herself, shifting uncomfortably. 'And now you're laughing at me.'

Just a little ways to go...it was surprising how suddenly a mansion could pop up in front of you. Eli put her into the back of his mind, keeping an eye out for whoever else may be out wandering.

Lirael was cold but the thought stayed out of her head and never came out her mouth. Most could probably say Emerald was a bit of a bully but either way, Lirael never complained around her.

The alsation was walking beside her, his tail held high and wagging happily. "Oh what a lovely day for a walk!" He raised his head highas if there was nothing better then having the cold wind dance about your face.

"Your funny Emerald...Its freezing out here!" She smiled calmly down at the dog and laughed suddenly as he jumped up. "Complaining your cold are we? You need a big fluffy coat like mine!" He licked at her face before going back onto all fours.

"I never once complained I made a statement and I wouldn't want to look like you ever!" She laughed a little, neither of them realised anyone else was about they were too wrapped up in themselves. Playing strange mind games and other strange things that the two did together.

Not too far behind was a girl on...unicorn-back? Well, at any rate, she was on the back of a magnificently horned horse. The two quickly and easily made their way to the house even as the wind directed them to do so.

She slid gracefully off the creature's back, laughing in delight as she planted a small kiss on his forhead,
"Thankyou Harmony," she said delicately, making a quick bow before turning to stare up at the house.

She had, of course been here many times before. Usually to romp about in the forests and gardens behind it, as those were more appealing than the treacherous territories within. Still, she had been inside before as well...but this time felt different. Something was actually -happening-.

Mana approached Iqbal, smiling cheerfully,
"Hello! How are you this fine morning?" she asked him, brushing a strand of silvery hair out of her eyes and stomping her bare feet so that the unicorn hairs decorating them would fall instead to the ground.

That was the one thing she refused to compromise with her adoptive mother on. She had put on a pair of soft leather leggings and an incredibly long, fur-necked vest, over a striped turtleneck to keep warm, but she simply refused to wear shoes.

Iqbal tucked a few strands of his silver hair behind his ear. His bi-colored eyes skimmed over the Forgotten approaching him. Two females and a male. Well, it could have been three females. That would have been annoying.

'Hmph. I know you dislike women, but it doesn't mean you have to belittle all of them.'

"Oh hush Fortune, it's not that big of a deal." Iqbal playfully smiled back to his daemon, as Fortune was currently annoyed at the cockiness of her Forgotten.

The first that approached him was a female, a rather, forward female. That seemed slightly familiar in all sense.

"Me? Oh wonderful, wonderful, now that you're here... darling." Iqbal's lips parted smoothly to the question before he bit his bottom lip.

Fortune had nipped his ankle, hard, and for a very good reason. Iqbal played on other people's emotions, and she wasn't about to let all of these Forgotten be played with by his words.

Ignoring the warning that Fortune had put on his ankle, Iqbal continued. "Though tell me, what is your name? And how good are you at games?"

The girl smiled, ignoring the rumpled state of her clothing from having been on 'horse-back' and put out a hand for him to shake if he so chose,
"I am Mana...er..Teagan, I guess, if my adoptive mother's last name applies."

She put one hand reflesively on Harmony's withers, mostly to keep the unicorn from deciding it was time to gore Iqbal right then and there for the tones he was taking,
"My equine friend here is Harmony."

I swear, if he doesn't shape up a bit... the unicorn muttered in the direction of Fortune, Though I must say I appreciate -your- attempts at decency, at least. Though he obviously could not hear the conversation going on, Harmony was fairly good at reading body language and had determined that Fortune was keeping Iqbal in check in some fashion.

She grinned,
"And it depends on the game, whether I'm good at it or not. I can play pretend better than most, but I'm not so good with puzzles."

"Mana..." Iqbal rolled the name off his tongue fairly easily. Even the same starting letter...

Fortune just eyed Iqbal, slightly irritated as she tugged his pantleg backward to make room for other if they so were inclined to step up to the house.

Looking at the hand offered though, he swatted away Fortune beak and grinned, taking the hand in a firm shake. "Iqbal. And I don't think last names are very necessary, unless you'd like me to call you by that as well."

His tail flicked back and forth and that definitely was a sign to Fortune. Though, she was first distracted by the voice from the unicorn.

'My boy is decent, he would never abuse your girl. Though, you might want to warn your girl at the naive game she may be playing unintentionally.' Her tone back to the unicorn was rather soft-spoken out of kindess and the fact that she had a vauge idea of what Iqbal's 'game' suggested.

"Mm. Well, I was going to play hide and seek. But for that we'll need a few more people." A toothy smirk shone through on his face, fang slipping over his bottom lip.

Lirael and Emerald were playing 'tag' in an odd sort of fashion, they were making alot of noise as they did so. Emerald would run off, stop, turn, bark, run of again and Lirael would have a feeble attempt at catching him.

It was so that Emerald was the one to see the others first. He stopped and he watched. Not saying a word, just watching untill Lirael caught up. They were never ones to say something first.

While he was preoccupied with Mana's words, his eyes did flicker to the daemon that had stopped to watch them. With a slight smirk, he waved over to the other girl, signaling for both her and her daemon to approach them.

The more the merrier, after all.

Fortune was slightly skeptical to the look on Iqbal's face, but already slightly irritated by the boy she decided to furl her wings and lounge at his feet. Her golden eyes were almost always on others though, watching as if to find something.

Mana smiled,
"Well, I am sure we could find a few more," she assured him, looking about. She too noticed the newcomers and aided in his waving them over,
"I do not think last names are necessary either, since you mentioned it. I have never used mine....and I am not certain Emily would like me to use it anyhow."

Harmony sighed, shaking his head warily It's not really a game she's playing. Mana prefers to act more than to think he assured the gryphon, as much as I try to endear her to the idea of higher level thinking. She just wants to have fun.

Though, she had seemed more amenable to thought lately. He could sense an encroaching darkness on her delicate demeanor which he did not like at all. It made him feel all the more dissatisfied with their current lot in life. He really wished they could just saunter off into the unicorn's natural territories where she might be safe, rather than this hideous and dangerous planet.

The moonbeams here didn't even taste half as good. At least, he assumed they didn't, though he really didn't remember his home territories that well. They had to be better than -this-, though.

Lirael looked down at Emerald and he nodded, "no harm in it." She sighed and agreed letting Emerald lead the way over to the other two. She didn't say anything just looked up at the other two. Her eyes also watched the daemons, not that she needed to, Emerald was already watching them.

A grin crossed Iqbal's face. "Oh, I think I'm positive that we can." He chuckled, eyeing the wary newcomers gently. His head turned to them with a soft look in his bi-colored eyes.

"How would you like to join us for a game of hide and seek?" He mused quietly, senses picking up on the shy pair.

Fortune on the other hand was rolling her eyes before the certain voice of the unicorn daemon had rung in her ears. He placed her head down softly. 'You might want to understand the the word fun has a warped definition to the ones who use it.'

The gryphon's gold eyes were obviously warning, but of what, she did not reply.
