Thats what i thought... or in his body somewhere, like kouga has shards in his legs o.o what if miroku sucked up a shard in this wind tunnel by mistake? what would happen then?

But I'm sure that he just concealed them in the folds of his robes. Miroku doesn't seem the sort to use the power of the shikon jewel to his advantage. Edit: okay, now I see what others are referring to (but, to make a correction, the whole thing takes place in the second episode that Miroku appears in -involving the hellpainter). You can't really tell if Miroku actually had the shards in his shoulder (since you only see the glow through his robes), but I'm going to say that he's merely got them hidden in the folds of his robes, not embedded into his skin as mentioned earlier).

I don't remember him putting htme in his arm, they let him keep them cause he earned them.
