Hung, Drawn and Quartered.

After hanging them till they're almost dead, but not quite. You put a pointy hook in them to loose their insides on the floor with them still alive, finally, you get 4 horses to tear them in four bits by the arms.
Then they're dead.

Well they rescued the reamaining children, shot some of the hostages, some got away, but some ended up in the crowd and were basically killed by everyone.

It's unbelievable to hear about things like this. I don't understand how anyone could even contemplate doing such a thing.

I was watching it yesterday, and they were saying how relatives had to search through dead bodies to see if they could find anyone they knew O_O. One woman that escaped was saying how there were knives and bombs all around them or something, and if anything happened, their captors had their feet always on the detenator ready to blow O_O I mean..s**t.

I was at my friends house yesterday and she was complaining about having a bad hair day, but when she heard about the situation in Russia she said "Forget my hair. ******** it, I don't care, I'm standing here complaining about something that stupid, when there are all these innocent children dying for no reason at all."...it kinda...puts things in perspective...

Apparently the crowd fell on anyone who they thought was involved. Police had to drag them off some of them:
The Times
One bearded man assumed to be a terrorist was jumped on by dozens of people, kicked and then beaten, before he was rescued by police. “He is a journalist. He is a journalist,” one officer screamed as he dragged the man into a police station.
Can't say I blame them but it does show the darker side of human nature. The injured toll stands at 700, 259 being pupils.

There are fears it will escalate now, since the children were Ossetians & the terrorists the now ubiquitous Chechens. Blood feuds are popular over there & have been stated over much less.

Plus no one knows why the first bomb went off. So why it all kicked off in the first place!

I've just read it in the news in the International HK papers. Appalling doesn't even begin to describe it! scream I hate it enough when they take adult hostages, but to take children! It shows though just how desperate these people are.

I sometimes just don't get it anymore...my mind just refuses to comprehend how anyone can do that to another human being....

Wasn't there a bomb in the school. The Sunday Times shows images of a girl climbing back into the school and moments later it's in flames.

I think all of them had bombs on them (the bad guys) and there where mines all over the place and bombs hanging from the seeling.

There were bombs attached to the buildings & to the female terrorists:
Sunday Times
The day grew hotter. Suddenly, just after 1pm, a powerful explosion rang out from inside the gym. “These bastards are blowing up the school,” Nikolai shouted, running to his window position.

He could see children fleeing in their underpants and a terrorist shooting at them. Steadying his rifle, he fired a dozen rounds at the terrorist.

Two other members of his unit — one armed with a Kalashnikov, the other with a PK machine gun — ran out on to the balcony and began firing.

It was still not clear yesterday what caused the explosion. Some reports suggested that one of the black widows had inadvertently blown herself up, others said that one of the bombs suspended in the gym had crashed to the floor and detonated.

Whatever the cause, the results were disastrous. The force of the blast blew up the roof, which crashed down onto the packed crowd of parents and children below, killing scores instantly. It was followed by a further two blasts, each triggering heart-wrenching wails from the parents pressed against the police cordons.

“As soon as the explosions sounded, the floors, the walls and the ceiling were covered in blood,” said Zaur Aboyev, 16, who was sitting by a window in the gym. “And I knew it was time to run.”
There is 11 pages of this story on the website I don't think I can read it all.

I feel sick sad I am a firm believer in not letting things get to you & joking them off but.. sad

On the news earlier it mentioned the death toll having risen to over 300, but I can't find a source to confirm that.
