I'm going from the pic on page one, since the link isn't working for me for some reason. neutral Nice!! I like the way you arranged the items on your shelves there's a nice flow to the positioning and color choices. *Sigh.* I wish we could put things in the standing bookshelf unit...not to mention have larger suitcases, especially when it costs 20k to expand your home. Would be cool if we could add new rooms too...but anyhow...your wall color choices work really well together and the purple wall shelves are a -great- accent. It's obvious that you're an artist. Good choices. I also like the open space floor plan style you used in arranging your furniture. There are only two things that stand out to me as slightly out of place. The boarded up window behind the bookshelf and maybe the floor color. It doesn't seem to tie in as well as it could in my view, but I know our choices are limited right now. Did they finally remove the white from inside the mug handles or did you remove that yourself before posting the pic? I'd love to hear your comments on my home. Can we post pics of ours here? cool

Vahrley: I studdied computer graphic design. Which deals a lot on layout. I am more a writter than an artist. But I like to call my self both. ^^
No picture editing; that is straight from gaia to you. Well from gaia to paint (to save), to photo bucket (to view it).
As for the black carpet, yeah, it is a bit out of place but it was the best choice to help off set all the purple. I love purple but I didn't want it to scream.
As for the shelves I actually just added the purple ones. I wanted more shelves but if I picked brown it would have looked.... Yeah, sweatdrop And thank you for liking how the stuffs is arranged. I just wished some items layed differnt. You know like the bathing suit top didn't stand straight up like cardboard. Or that the fishing pole didn't look barbie sized.
As for the boarded window, that was comic relief. Also I just liked it and it was cheap.
Also, I greatly understand and wish we had walls. They call them Gaia homes, but give us a room... Perhaps in another version we will have rooms. Also about the suit case, I wish they were bigger. I couldn't stuff another thing in mine. gonk Trust me I still try.
Open spaced middles are what I happen to like. Also I Like being able to see most of everything. If you go to my house you'll see just about the same style.
Also I wish we could add to the book shelves. It looks so empty. 3nodding

I'd like to show you all "Ant's panty shack."
Recently I was involved in a month long competition to see who could get the most panties. I failed. cry But only by one pair. Guess where they all live now? It's humble, it has no furniture, but realy, who needs furniture when you've got panties?

@Kawaii_Hime_Ceres: Yep, I agree with you, I wish the items laid differently on the surfaces and that there were more wall/floor choices. The one that reeeally bugs me is the sketchbook, how it just...stands there...like it's possessed or something. eek Oddness. But still for their first version, the houses are pretty cool. The lighting is defenitely awesome.

Ok, here's the Vahrley pad...so far. It's a base from which to build on as they release new items. I've decided that I'm going to add and replace things only if I really, really, really like them from this point on, so my shelves and surfaces are still a bit bare. cool

Vahrley that house is awsome! i never thought about putting the shelves as desks. sweatdrop your room looks more hously with the lay out.

@KHC: I got lucky with using the shelf as a desk extension, for some reason it only works with the non-colored, plain wood ones, and that's the look I was going for. I'm really glad that they fixed the mugs and boom box (Yay!), the inside of their handles didn't used to be transparent, that's why asked if you had tweaked your house when I saw the pic. I just added the kitty today (I love the kitteh!). 3nodding And I like your layout too. It's a nice, open plan. cool
