Jen coughed and her eyes opened slowly. She wasn't sure where she was, or what happened, but that was when she spotted Dan. "Hi." She said, softly and pushing herself into a sitting position.

he looks at her. "sweetie." he said going to her and kneels down. "i'm glad your awake." he said with tears in his eyes.

She smiled slightly and kissed him on the cheek. "Thanks." She said, evenly most of her energy was drained, which was a bit out of place, but Jen ignored it.

"For now, I'm fine." Jen assured him, squeezing his hand comfortingly. She looked out the window and noticed it was about noon and now raining. "How long was I out of it for?" She asked.

"Too late for you to go back to practice then. I'm sorry." She said, laying her head back down on the pillow, and offering a small sigh. "It's so wierd, I don't even remember seeing the car coming." She said, thoughtfully.

"Is she ok?" Jen asked meeting his eyes with no expression on her face. It seemed that her life was spiralling out of control and headed for trouble.

She nodded. "That's good." She said, shortly. "Do you know how much longer I'll be here, I know they'll probably keep me to run tests, but I'm not sure how long I want to stay in the hospital." She said, shortly.
