As her hand shot toward his neck, he jumped back, pushing off her chest for an extra push, even though the jump alone would get him out of range. As he landed, he thought in his mind and decided to toy with her, he concentrated, and absorbed the energies in the atomic bonds in her shirt that held it's molecules together. Therefore, her shirt would appear to just blow off like a cloud of dust. He chuckled and re-prepared himself, standing his ground, waiting for her to make the next move.

As he jumped back, she immedietaly pulled back on her attack, instantly covering her body with the dark aura. She poured some of her energy into this dark aura, making it solid.
As he would try this little 'attack' thing he was doing...(Pervert..>_>)
His attack wouldn't be able to penetrate her aura, as it was able to block such things. He wouldn't be able to concentrate on anything past her aura, 'cause it protected her from mind attacks and such. Basically, he can't control any atomic bonds because he wouldn't be able to concentrate past her aura.
Her aura was strong, and a stupid attack like that certainly wouldn't be able to get through it.
While he was wasting his time with such nonsense, she was actually fighting.
She immedietaly burst her aura forward, it pushing out into a ball like what was around her before. Suddenly, the aura started looking ridged and bumpy. It was starting to deform. Little spikes started sticking out from the aura, sharp looking things they were, and black as night.
They started pulling away, shadows spikes simply kept tugging at the aura until they were free. Literally hundreds of them hovered around her, just circling her, each spike pointed in her opponent's direction. In just a few seconds, she shot them towards him, each one of them traveling at amazing speed towards his body. They came at him from all directions, front, back, head, everywhere.
The woman smiled, the fuzzy grey aura covering her and giving her an almost creepy look. Her eyes were no longer a blazing golden colour, but they were a smoky grey colour.
She waited to see what 'trick' her opponent would pull this time.

Fas lifted Leinguard up into the air, and suddenly one of the diamounds encrusted on his blade popped off, then floated in the air. As the spikes approached, the diamound suddenly shined blindingly bright, the light not affecting Fas' eyes due to their high resistance to such things. The light was bright enough it would dispell the shadow spikes. It then shattered, the light energy in the center shot up into the sky, as fas laughed. "Goodbye. FINAL JUDGEMENT!" Suddenly beams of light energy rained from the sky, slamming into the feild with tremendous force, a good majority aiming for her and the area around her, a few just hitting aimlessly to the ground, the ones that struck fas were absorbed by him, replenishing his energy a bit. Finally, after the last few beams fell, a single, massive beam fell from the sky at tremendous speed, heading right for her. The beam was worth several busses in diameter, and upon hitting her, or the ground, it would explode massivly, rocking the ground like a massive earthquake, sending out a wave of light energy for miles around. Fas chuckled, knowing his finisher would be hard for her to dodge.

When the jewel flew up from the sword, the women immedietly halted the spikes and brought them back, letting them once again just float there around her figure. When she saw the jewel let out a blinding light, her facial expressions went blank.
Her light grey eyes showed a hint of annoyance as she watched the jewel shatter, and a light shoot high into the sky.
Now, another person might be saying 'Oh crap' right about now. But instead of all the normal reactions someone might do to the coming attack, she merely started laughing. Her laugh was mocking and it didn't sound the least bit nervous. It was merely a slight chuckle, but to her it was the hardest she had laughed in quite some time.
Abrubtly, she stopped laughing. It was almost horror movie-ish, the way she suddenly went from laughing to murderous in less than a second. Her eyes fixed upon him, everything in her eyes revealed how much she wanted to see this man dead. How far she was willing to go to do so.
Her head tilted up towards the sky, wondering what exactly that jewel would do. Suddenly, she spotted the light beams heading down towards her and..Well..Pretty much everywhere. As they started raining towards the ground, she pulled the bubble of darkness around her closer, it covering her tightly. When the first light beam hit the bubble, it would simply tear at it a bit, but it wouldn't break it at all. Her shield was very powerful, but she wouldn't be able to use it forever. But for now, it was effective against these beams of light. She merely moved out of the way of a few of them, and the ones she couldn't quite dodge would hit the shield around her, damaging it slightly but not breaking it.
Finally, when she thought it was over, she let her shield go down. The shield had cracked in quite a few places, and chipped in others. When her shield chipped, the chipped piece would simply turn into a shadow and vanish. Her shield would be no good to her until she could restore her energy a bit. But, she could still do other things.
The black spikes still hovered around her, waiting for a target.
She had thought it was over, but she had been sorely mistaken. She looked up at the sky in time to see a humongous beam of light heading straight for her. She grimaced, and immediately began forming another shadow around her. This would not be a shield, but something more. A large transparent pillar of darkness shot up out of the ground, matching the speed that the light was falling towards her. The pillar climbed and climbed high into the sky, heading straight into the massive beam of light. She stood in the middle of the pillar, her hands stiffly at ther sides and her head tilted back. Her eyes stared at the sky as she focused such a large amount of energy into this pillar. Her eyes were no longer grey, but had gone even darker. Dark strands of black crept through her eyes, her entire eyes starting to turn entirely black from using so much force. The pillar widened about 7 feet, and still climbed into the sky, now towering about 70 feet into the air. The dark pillar would meet the beam of light head on, causing a collision that would be grand.
Her standing in the pillar of darkness would protect her from the light in the aftershock, though she wasn't entirely sure that pillar of darkness would fully protect her. This move..She had never had to use it on anyone in her life before. It was a special of hers, and he would be the first to see it.
Suddenly, the pillar of darkness and the beam of light collided high into the air, a massive explosion of grey and yellowish colours shot out every direction. The Earth shook with a tremendous force, the women barely able to keep her balance and focus at the same time. As the beam of light exploded with light shooting out everywhere, it would explode high into the air, most of it not even affecting the women. The pillar started to wear away with the light at a rapid speed. She was worried the light would reach her even though she had blocked most of it, since that light beam was so huge.
Her pillar of darkness kept disintigrating as the light tore through the top of it, it coming down faster and faster, wearing away towards her. Finally, the effects of the beam stopped, and the pillar still stood above her and around her. The pillar of darkness had been damaged badly, and when he had finished his attack, the pillar merely crumbled around her in little pieces, immediately turning into shadows and vanishing into the ground.
She breathed heavily, and beads of sweat had formed at her brow. Her hands were limp at her sides, and she stared at the ground. Without a word, nor hesitating, she shot the shadow spikes that still hovered around her at him. Hundreds of razor sharp shadows spikes once again coming at him from all directions.
While the spikes made their way rapidly towards him, she suddenly reached into her pocket and pulled out a small marble. The marble was the size of a regular marble, and it looked like nothing special. It was pitch black. Though..There was one odd thing about it...If you held it out, the sun's glare wouldn't catch on it. It was as if the light avoided the marble.
She smiled as she handled it, slowly holding it up into the air with her right hand. Her eyes had returned to their original blazing golden colour, and the dark aura she had had around her was gone. She sighed one last heavy sigh before she replaced her hand to her side, the marble still in her hand. She smiled again, and the marble suddenly flew out of her hand and hovered above her head. The marble simply hung there, while she watched and waited to see how he'd handle those spikes once more.

Fas smiled at her under the hood. He was tired too, but he'd be damned if he was gonna show it. As the spikes headed for him, he simply stood there, and suddenly they impacted him, penetrating him. He slumped over and fell to the ground, dead, before...turning into a log.

The sound of Fas voice behind her would get her attention, as well as expose his Subsitution Jutsu he had performed while she was using her pillar.

"INDIGNATION!"

Suddenly, a ball of light appeared in the air high above her, shining down and making a large cone of light, making a circle across the ground a good distace around her, about 20 feet. Two little orbs of light swiriled around her, going further and further up, before reaching the orb of light in the sky. As soon as the orbs reached it, a massive lightning bolt struck the main orb, sending a massive blast of lightning charging through every inch of the cone of light. Even being within the circle in any way shape or form would be enough to overload the body and send you into cardiac arrest. Of course, there was an extrememly low chance that it would simply give you a major burn, but that was next to nothing.

But then again, Fas particularly respected this fighter, and didn't expect her to be killed by one of his basic moves like indignation, reaching into his robes for something, finding it, but keeping his hand there, waiting.

The woman had to admit she was slightly impressed with her opponent, not giving up as most would have done by now. Most were cowards, and she was pleased to find hers was not the same. She couldn't stand a coward...They had no honour. and as far as she was concerned, they weren't even worth a passing glance.
Though, her feeling still remained the same.
She was willing to go as far as it took to win this battle. Even if it meant brutally ripping his life away from him with her bare hands...Destroying his very soul.

She watched as the spikes sunk into him, and his lifeless body slump carelessly to the ground. She squinted her eyes..Something..Wasn't right. There's no way her opponent would go down that easily, especially after how hard he'd fought to survived this long. He would have done something..Not just died meaninglessly. She wasn't certain what he was up to, but she did not let her guard down, assuming there was some trick to this. She couldn't accept that he had fallen that easily..She simply couldn't do that. One of the worst things someone can do in battle is underestimate their opponent. She wouldn't be making that mistake.

As she continued to stare at his lifeless body, she saw something..Suddenly, where there used to be the body of her seemingly careless opponent, there was a simple wooden log with hundreds of black shadow spikes sticking out from it.

Substitution technique..Eh?

The first thought that ran through her head was that. The second was,

Where the heck did he get the log to substitute himself with?

She shrugged, and decided quickly that it didn't really matter. Either way, he was still alive and unharmed by her attack. She searched the area with her eyes, waiting to see what would come next.
That was when she heard a voice behind her. The voice of her opponent.
As she heard him cry out his attack, she sighed loudly, appearing as though she were bored. It wasn't that she was trying to act arogant, it was simply she was tired of all this ability crap. She preferred hand-to-hand, but she'd do whatever was necessary she supposed.

When the light shined down around her, she had already began to react, already forming an idea in her head what her next attack would be. The marble that flowed around her started to do something odd..
The marble slowly started cracking, little cracks running up and down the black marble. Suddenly, the marble broke, little black shards flying every direction around her. The shards did not merely fall to the ground and such, they started floating around her in a slow circle. All these little black glass shards simply hovering around her, spinning faster and faster. Suddenly, they would rise into the air, each one of them starting to glow a dark grey. It was as if they each had their own aura around them. The dark aura slowly crept away from the shards, starting to fill the area around her with the same sort of dark aura as she used for shields. It was covering her like the shields did. But, the aura didn't stop there. It kept creeping throught the entire stadium.

Now, about his attack... As soon as the light made contact with her shield formed by the tiny black shards, it would immediately start to turn to darkness itself. The black darkness that crept from the shards was definitely not normal, and it was making the light turn to darkness, which she could easily take control of. His whole attack would be turned to darkness, even the large cone of light around her would be manipulated by the darkness.

She immediately took advantage of this. Now she would have a large dark cone around her, and since she didn't have to form it herself, she wasted no energy on this. She suddenly pushed the entire cone out, causing it to cover the entire arena. It wouldn't hurt her opponent, but merely rush past him, causing the entire area to become as dark as night. It would be very hard to see for her opponent, and not so hard for her, since she was simply used to darkness. Her eyes remained unaffected by the sudden block of all light. Now, her opponent, she assumed, would be dazed right about now, as he would have no way to see anything since it was dark. And if he tried to create any light, a single touch to her darkness and it was certain that it would turn to darkness itself.

Now, without wasting any time, she would begin her attack. Since her opponent couldn't see, this would make things all the easier. The little shards of marble that hovered around her suddenly started splitting. They started splitting into even smaller shards, no biggers than a dull pencil tip. Millions of these shards hung suspended in the air by an unknown force around her. Suddenly, these shards would go flying every direction around the arena, covering the entire area. They would merely fly to one end, and then back to the other, traveling the speed of light. They would do this over and over for awhile. If these shards hit him, they would rip holes in his body, most likely killing him, or leaving him severely wounded. It would be like getting shot thousands of times with very small bullets.

Also, to add to her attack, she poured some of her energy into the darkness, forming a few more of those razor sharp spikes she loved so very much. Since she could see in the dark, she would immediately spot her opponent's position and throw these spikes at him. There were only about 100 this time, but they would fly at him from all directions. Even from above him, they would fly down and try to kill him. That is, if he weren't already dead from all the little shadow bullets flying around everywhere at light speed.

When the attack was finished, the marble shards would slowly drop to the ground and melt into the ground as mere shadows, harmless to anyone by that time. Same with the shadow spikes.
The darkness around everything would then clear, and she would stand there silently, waiting to see how her opponent did against her finisher.

She made an assumption...bad move. Fas had excellent vision at night, like a cat, and besides that, if he was blind, he could function by echolocation, like a bat.

This was still a problem however. Having thousands of tiny shadow bullets shot at you was never a good thing. Therefore, he did something he hadn't done in a long time.

He suddenly flared out his wings, their bright sapphire color and appearance made them look like floating gems. They gave off a little light, enough for Fas to see even clearer.

As the bullets shot forward, he lept into the air, the bullets passing under him. He floated gently in the air, his wings flapping gently every once in a while to keep him afloat. As the spikes came at him, he chuckled slightly. Fas was now even more powerful than before, keeping his wings hidden acted as a sort of seal on his power.

He seemed to concentrate, his oddly colored eyes glowing slightly. He began converting the Mana within the darkness. He converted it in a way that it turned all the darkness to it's negative, or that is, Light. One of his major elements. The darkness was flipped to light so suddenly that it was like a light switch had been flipped on. As the light spikes would strike him, they would be absrobed into his body and be broken down into energy. The curtain of darkness that was created was also converted, making everything around them blindingly bright, like having the sun pressed against your eye. His opponet would most likely be blinded by this, but Fas' eyes were trained to withstand the most massive light vibrances, due to the fact that his Homeworld was a floating comet and therefore passed by stars extrememly close. The bullets however, were not converted, but instead just stopped altogether. Fas converted the Mana in them differently, instead of making them darkness, he simply removed the Mana from them and absorbed it himself, converting the energy signature instantly to his own. Absorbing the mana within something erased it from existance, since anything without mana could not exist. Fas laughed, and suddenly, the light around her would become etremely dangerous, suddenly exploding in a violent wave of light energy. There was almost no way she could survive, since the light was all around them, covering the entire areana as she herself said.

Needless to say, all this consumed a massive amount of Fas' energy. Even all the energy absorbed did nearly nothing to replenish his energy, as he panted heavily, sounding as if he had run a triathalon, sweat pouring off his body. He kept his guard up, even if she had little chance, that still meant she could survive.

"Mm.. unusual.." In the stands, high above the match occuring, a mercenary in black garb was rubbing his chin, eyes surveying the match as they had been since it's start. Going by the name Omi, he had been making it a habbit to watch every match, even when not lying in his own branch, that he could prior to his own. And as he watched the two contestants, "Raine" and "Fasumbra" combat, it was.. needless to say, interesting.

However, his lips formed into a light grin. "The guy seems to use an odd school of offensive-mixture of magical techniques and odd mid-illusionary abilities, before cutting in with some high-speed melee and weapon usage, while the girl focuses on a mixture of defensive abilities with the dark aura, and an oddly intense form of offense. Interesting.."

"..But.." Leaning back in his seat, making a few of the immedietely close spectators gawk at him in just how calm he was acting about the match below, he came to the conclusion, "There's little I can use from this match. Although, a good watch, I suppose." Then, with a less serious gaze, he added, "Major kudos to the guy for trying to knock her clothes off though, one of the best tactical maneuvures ever, by a long shot-"

Clearing his throat, Omi tilted his head up, still in his lazy stance - but watching the battle all the same. His amber brown eyes looked nothing extrodinary.. except their intentiveness. They seemed to gaze upon the contestants, even at that distance, with such a piercing glare, that it was almost unnatural. Occasionally, the male fighter would seem to appear elsewhere, an object of some kind being where he was before. Now that, caught Omi's interest, as he thought the concept over. If he won, and managed to press onto his branch's finals - Fasumbra could theoretically use that to make even the most well aimed of attacks, intensity aside, useless.

Than again, this 'Raine' had such an unusually fluid control over that dark energy that resided in her, controlling it, materealizing it, and extending it when need be without fail. Fas seemed to have moved in for the kill with his last act - but, with a smirk, Omi laid his head back even - no longer watching below. "This match isn't over yet.."

She just stood there, scratching her head in a questioning manner. He pulled out his wings, but why?
Since, simply flying above her attack wouldn't work in any way, since she clearly sent the shadow bullets flying 'everywhere'. Including the top of the arena. He would simply be obliterated and ripped to shreds by the millions of shadow bullets.
So, since he simply flew up, he's gonna be ripped t' pieces. Oh well..It was her intention from the beginning. She merely watched, one eyebrow raised and an excitement shining in her normally dull eyes, waiting to see her opponent's gory mess fly every direction.

Fas moved his hands up and moved them around, making several handsigns at blazing speeds, so fast that normally no one could see it, but for this, you can only see it OUT of charector. After the handsigns were made, the sand from the floor would form a perfect copy of him out of sand. Then, useing mana, Fas gave it a bit of life, enough to make it an exact clone of him untill it would be killed and then returned to sand. Bfore that, fas would move at unseeable speed through the air, dodging the speeding bullets in midair, before landing silently behind her, dodging the occasional bullet that came his way, using high speed to do so. He would be virtually undetectable. All this would happen in a matter of seconds, and would give Fas JUST enough time to make the clone before being hit. However, a few bullets managed to hit him during his initial flight, making holes in him. To be safe, upon hitting him, mana would flow through his bloodstream and erase any poisens or leftover energy from the wounds. However, they were still wounds. One of his lungs had been punctured, and had collapsed. He was blleding heavily, but there was a fire in his eyes that showed he was NOT going to give up.

His defence completed to the best of his ability, he put one hand up, and finnally decided to end it. It was time to go for the kill. He knew that he was drained, and would have barely any energy left after this, but it was one of little hopes he had left...

"ULTIMATE INDIGNATE JUDGEMENT!"

Suddenly, a massive circle formed under them, not just them, the entire stadium. The circle pumped up light energy directly into each tiny bullet, making them explode lightly into raw energy, due to the element conflict. The light energy was only focus directly into the bullets, not touching the darkness. Massive bolts of lightning infused with light energy came raining down upon every square inch of the circle, the first bolt would cause the darkness and light to meet, resulting in a huge blast of raw energy around the both of them, iradicating the darkness and the bolt, as well as dealing large amounts of damage to Fas and hope fully Raine, although it was worth it to get rid of the darkness.

The rest of the bolts rained down, large amounts heading for her, the rest striking the battlefeild, a few striking the bloody figure of Fas laying on the ground, but being absorbed into his body and becoming energy. The bolts, with each strike, would cause a explosion like that of a large firecracker, just enough to blow an arm or leg off.

This continued constantly, through the entire attack. Suddenly, a massive "sword" fell from the sky, and struck dead center of the circle on the ground, sending a massive wave of electricity through the entire circle, anyone touching the ground, even after several seconds, would be electricuted heavily, even rubber boots would only soften the blow, as it would still be enough to not only electricute the person to death, but melt their shoes. Fas was unaffected, as the electricity that hit HIM would also be converted to energy, although it was barely helping.

After several seconds of the "Sword" just sitting there, it suddenly let out a blinding flare of light, before exploding hugely, sending out a wave of mixed lightnign and light magic in all directions, like a supernova, the force of the blast sending Fas flying up into the stands and into a empty chair, where he sat, panting heavily. The energy blast seemed to just go around him, like flowing water around a rock. He panted heaily...He hadn't used the move in literally years, he had never needed it except against odds like this.

He knew it was rare someone ever survived this, let alone defeated it, so he smiled faintly, knowing this match was probably won.

The woman..She was somewhat surprised that he had not been killed, or overly wounded from her attack. No one had survived that attack before.
She shrugged..Thinking that there's a first time for everything she supposed. She sighed, feeling the strain from the battle starting to catch up to her body. She was tiring..

But she could still fight. Her opponent was weakened and that thought alone made her stronger. It was just the boost she needed.
She was willing to go as far as death to win this match.

She turned to face the man, noticing he had not gone unscathed.
That thought was comforting to her, but she looked somewhat sad that she wouldn't be able to watch him get shredded.

She knew that because he was in a weakened state, he was going to have to use more powerful things now. Her over-all guess..Was that he was going to be trying to finish her off soon, since he knew he wouldn't be able to fight for too much longer.

She didn't know how much longer she could continue this either. She didn't really have many injuries..Just a few scrapes and bruises. But over-all, she was unscathed. But that didn't stop the physical energy from wearing out..
She couldn't go on forever.

Her long black hair flowed to the side in the dusty breeze, covering her grey eyes in black strands. She no longer bore the look of hostility, but more an excitement. She loved battle..It was what she lived for. Some might call her insane..Loving to take other's lives away from them. She couldn't care less what anyone thought of her. She lived for what she wanted and she was determined nothing would steal that from her.
This look of excitement would only cross her eyes when she was having fun..Enjoying the battle. Her opponent had won a little respect from her, but she still would have no mercy. She still would kill him.

Her hands were relaxed at her sides, her posture bent slightly from weariness. Her Odachi was sheathed at her side, just waiting for a chance to be used once more.

She was quickly growing tired of all this magic crap, since neither of them seemed to be getting very far by using abilities. She decided she'd go and do what she was best at, hopefully finishing him before he even blurted out his next attack.

No more then when he would get the word 'Ultimate' out, she was already moving towards him. Her speed was undeniably amazing, and her footsteps were flighty, never faltering once despite her weariness.
While running, she abrubtly reached into her pocket with her left hand, pulling out a small thumb dagger. It was just a few inches in length, and it really couldn't classify as a weapon. Or..A good one at least.
Her left thumb was pressed tightly against the thumb grip, and the curved blade extended past her thumb.

She ran quickly towards him, her speed faster then the words he can get out. He wouldn't even have time to start his next attack before she'd be on him. As she neared him, about 2 feet away, she would begin her fast attack. With the left hand that had the thumb blade in it, she would merely do a horizontal slash across his neck from his left to his right, hopefully that right there finishing him off. But, she doubted highly that that would do the job. So, she had another part to her attack. Since she was so close to him, at the same time she was performing the attack with the thumb blade, she grabbed the hilt of her Odachi that was sheathed at her left with her right hand, doing an unsheath slash. She would abrubtly pull the sword out, then pulling it to her right quickly and extending it, it would slash across his stomach, chopping him in half as she pulled it to her right. Hopefully.

The eyes of a random spectator beamed as the girl rushed in. She had surprised this man, likely along with many others in attendance. This display made it crystal clear that her fortitude was not to be underestimated.
