Date : 9th April 2005 Participants : Lena, Nalini, Jessila "It's ill !" Nalini wailed and pointed at the leaf with the yellow spots. Lena sighed and sat down beside the flowerpot. Did they water it too much ? Too much fertilizer ? "It smells nicey." Jessila added and poked it slightly, which made the plant shiver. "I don't think it's ill though. It doesn't seem sad." The mother added and simply stared at the green-yellow surface. What was going on ? She needed to save it...but how ?

The smell grew more intense as the children and the mother stared at the leaf. It began widen it's yellow spots, which seemed more and more brightly. The colour was so intense that it wasn't able to look at it anymore.
Suddenly the shine died out and Lena blinked several times before looking back. A cute young girl lay on the ground between her children, holding a small flower in her hands.

9th April 2005 "A baby !" Two young girls screamed and were close to grabbing the young new body as Lena catched their hands. "No way !" The mother announced and sighed heavily. She seemed to attract children born out of strange things. Somehow it wasn't even much of a shock anymore. It was just...natural ? Oh no never. The young toddler seemed very beautiful and quiet and Nalini and Jessila just stared in awe. "It's our new sister. We can play with her, we can show ours pets to her." Jessila announced and smiled broadly. The dwarf just nodded in agreement and picked the small one up. The leaf had vanished completely. Strange enough...was Kat's leaf growing into something like this as well ? A baby ? Where did they come from ? "What's her name, mama ?" Jessila asked and jumped down on the couch accompanied by her sister. Out of sudden the beautiful blonde baby opened her golden eyes and smiled shily. "Tyyne." Lena said and nodded.

Pinned on the front door, you find a note and a small bag. Teh Note Dear Lena and Tyyne Shouko and I really enjoyed your company this morning. It really was a shame you had to leave so soon, as Shouko and Tyyne seemed to get along well. (Shouko's been trying to draw Tyyne, by the way. Very blue and yellow, I tell you.) Well, we'll just have to have another get-together soon. Perhaps when the new Leaves have found their homes? Shouko insisted on Tyyne getting this plushie, so here it is. Hope to see you soon, Shouko and Kat When opening the little bag, you find this plushie.

Lenta slipped up to Lena's front door, a large box resting in her arms. Giant holes had been poked in the top, one corner was completely ripped off, and the ribbon around it looked like it had been chewed. Lenta looked rather proud of her wrapping job, though; mayhaps she didn't know it had been sabatoged by the gift itself. Placing the box on the doorstep, Lenta gave the top of the box a fond pat, then stuck a small note to the top and dashed off. Oh boy oh boy, wait'll Lena saw the neato gift she had gotten for her and her little Eden!
And hopefully, it wouldn't try to chew a hole through any of Lena's electrical appliances like it did for Lenta... She was still wondering how she would replace that toaster. Or, er, half-toaster. Whatev.

The note read...

9th April 2005 Participants : Lena, Tyyne, Kat + Shouko ( Artifical Anonymity )Lena carried a young blonde child with her as she unlocked the door to the Eden Project shop. She looked around and stepped inside carefully, while the girl just stared at the new surroundings. "We'll come here more often in future, Tyyne." The mother said to her newborn one and smiled. She had called Kat this morning to inform her about the latest development of 'the leaf'. Her friend must have had the same experience, because she seemed so excited. Coming to a halt in front of the Eden shop, Kat looked at it. Seeing that the door was unlocked, Kat assumed that Lena was alredy there. "Okay honey, you need to be brave for Mama, mmkay?" The obviously shy child had stayed snuggled in her mother's arms, hiding her face. "That's a girl," Kat opened the door and stepped inside. "Kat !" Lena turned around as she heard the other woman and smiled. It was almost a bit amusing as they were both holding the toddlers in the same way. "Oh she's beautiful. Extremely !" Tyyne seemed a bit scared by her mother's behaviour, but her golden eyes looked at the other toddler with interest. She didn't move though."Lena, thank god it was you. Yes, she is, isn't she?" Kat smiled down at the girl in her arms. Noticing the young one in Lena's arms, she asked "Is this Tyyne? She's such a sweetie!" Shouko was staring at her mama. Never before had she acted like this, perhaps it had something to do with the other woman? Shouko stole a glance at Lena, noticing the other girl. Though shy of nature, she couldn't help but be a bit curious about the other one. "Yes, say hello Tyyne." Lena smiled. "This has to be Shouko then. It just occured this morning as Nalini and Jessila wanted to play with the plant again. They're happy about a new sibling though." She slowly moved towards the couch and moved one hand trough Tyyne's blonde hair. "Tyyne seems to be very shy though. How's Shouko like ?" The young woman sat down and placed the toddler onto the pillows. Her bright golden eyes showed some fear and uncertainty. Kat sat down next to Lena. "Oh, I can imagine their surprise. I had quite a shock myself." She laughed, looking at Shouko. "Shy, too. Perhaps it's their age?" Kat furrowed her eyebrows, while absently putting Shouko down next to Tyyne. "This is Tyyne, honey. She's an Eden like you," Kat smiled at Shouko, who was clinging to her arm, "nothing to be afraid of." "Well, Nalini and Jessila were more than active at this age. Tyyne's very different." The young woman added and smiled at her new daughter and the other Eden. "That's right Tyyne, you'll probably become friends." The blonde girl was wearing a blue dress, which seemed to be perfect to suit her nervousness. She played around with it and just stared at the pink one, which seemed to have a nice dress too. Tyyne just blinked several times and didn't make a single sound."Nalini and Jessila is always active. They all are. Different, that is." Kat half-smiled at Lena. Shouko noticed the other child looking at her kimono, and with a happy gurgle, tried to offer the seam of it to her. "That's right. Lini and Jess are always like this." Lena grinned and looked at the babies. "I found three more leaves the other day. They're inside the greenhouse right now and I hope they're alright there. We need to find more people, who could care about them. Who knows what may happen otherwise ?" Tyyne moved just a tiny bit closer and poked the seam of the kimono. It had flowers and that was nice. She wanted to have something like this too, definately. She responded with a nice look and looked back at her own blue dress."See? We honestly have no basis for comparision." Kat laughed, looking at the two young Edens. "They seem to be getting along well, though. I really do hope the other three will be as happy once we find them a good home." Shouko noticed that the other one was warming up to her. Gurgling happily, as it seemed that was the only thing she was able to do at the moment, she noticed that the other also wore a strange kind of kimono. It didn't have flowers, though, but a very nice colour. Poking the girl on the tummy, Shouko giggled. This was fun! Lena sighed and nodded. "Some responsible people who aren't scared of leaves were good. I'll probably set up an announcement for the newspaper or so." Tyyne was scared as she was touched by the other one for a moment or two. She listened to Shouko's giggles and frowned slightly. But she smiled anyway, although she didn't poke back. Instead she moved one of her blue shoes closer to the other one.Kat looked at Lena again. "Don't worry about the newspaper, I'll take care of that." She frowned, "We do have a lot of good candidates. I hope they won't let us down." She shook her head, "It'd be horrible for the Edens to be moved from those they consider their parents." Not getting the wanted reaction, Shouko frowned slightly. She had smiled, sure. But didn't she think it was fun? Oh well, she moved her foot closer anyway. That had to be improvement. Gurgling again, Shouko gave a wide smile to the other one. She had so much pretty hair! Lena just nodded. "Alright then. I just wonder from where they are actually coming, these leaves. They're so special. It's a miracle somehow." Tyyne looked at Shouko's wooden shoes and than back to her own ones. Her shoes had just one colour, but they were comfortable. While she examined the other one and smiled again, Tyyne noticed something in Shouko's hair. It looked like a pink flower. The blonde one made a sound and pointed at the pretty thingy."Yes, it is. I really can't thank you enough for giving me one of them, I.. My Shouko, you know?" Kat smiled, half-crying. Sniffing, she said, "Sorry about that, I'm just so happy, you know?" Finally getting a positive reaction out of the blond-haired, Shouko made another happy gurgle. Noticing the other one pointing at her head, she held out some of her pink hair. Lena smiled and hugged her friend slightly. "It's alright. You know, it's great to have someone else to share experiences with. Ray is away so often and so it's wonderful for Tyyne to have someone to play with. I hope you come over soon for a cup of tea." Tyyne instead moved closer carefully and touched the pink hair gently. It felt just like her own one, but it was shorter. She blinked and nodded, which made her pony-tail move.It is. Where is Ray, anyway?" Hugging Lena back, Kat said, "And I'll be sure to come over for a bit of tea. Mind if I bring Shouko? I really don't know anyone who can babysit, and I don't want to leave her with some stranger." Gurgling again to show her happiness, Shouko let the other girl touch her hair. It felt really nice, too. Noticing the beautiful hair again, she made a move as to touch it. It was too pretty to resist.. And long, too. "Transylvania." Lena sighed and rolled her eyes. "You know he's trying to find the solution against his disease, but I miss him a lot. He's missing all of the baby fun." She blinked and went on talking. "You know, of course you may come. My children will love to babysit. Jessila and Nalini love new playmates. I could probably invite all of the new parents, if we have decided on some." Tyyne shivered slightly as she was touched and closer her eyes. Hopefully the other one wouldn't hurt her. Hopefully..."He is. Though it would be wonderful to have him well. They would? How are they handling Tyyne, by the way?" Kat blinked, "Yes, inviting the 'new ones' would be good. It would give us a chance to answer any questions they might have, too." Seeing the other girl's closed eyes, Shouko became unsure. Making a distressed sound to ask if the blonde was okay, she touched the other ones cheek, as gently as she could. "Yes, I really wish for him to be normal once. Oh Nalini and Jessila try to play with her, make her ride on pets and so on. But she's not so interested at this makes them depressed somehow. They were more looking for a smaller slave." Lena grinned slightly. As her cheek was touched Tyyne made a surprised sound and grabbed the small hand quickly. She opened her eyes and was astonished as nothing bad happened. And suddenly the blonde one started to giggle."A smaller slave, eh? Oh, I hope they don't try that with Shouko." Kat tried to smother a giggle, imagining Nalini and Jessila trying to command Shouko and Tyyne. Yelping when the blonde took her hand, Shouko blinked when she started to giggle. But somehow, she couldn't resist the temptation, and started giggling with the other one. Lena stared at the babies, who just started to laugh. "It seems they like each other already." Being relieved that the other one seemed to be nice, Tyyne started to tug on Shouko's bow. She didn't have such accessories, so she wanted to free her new friend from the bond of having some."So it seems." Grinning like a maniac, Kat looked at Shouko and her new friend. Did she want her bow? Shouko took the end of her bow, and yet again tried to offer it to Tyyne. (It was really pretty, but made it hard to crawl.) "We need to go again in a few minutes though. I promised Nalini and Jessila to play with them and bring back Tyyne quickly." Lena mentioned as she got up. Tyyne instead pulled the bow slightly and frowned. She needed to get it off. It had to be heavy...much too heavy."Oh, right." Looking slightly disappointed, Kat rose. "Well, it was nice talking to you again, and meeting Tyyne." Shouko looked at the girl. What was she trying to do? "Yes, just call me if you want to come over for tea. I'm home most of the time." Lena added as he lifted Tyyne up, who started to cry at once. "It's alright Tyyne, you can see her next time again." The young mother sighed and shook her head. "Sorry for just coming over so shortly, it was nice though." While trying to comfort her baby, she left the shop. Looking at the door, Kat sighed. It really was too bad that Lena had to leave so soon. Shouko sniffled. Why had her new friend gone away? She was soon picked up by her mother, who was making ready to leave.

Wee, we got presents. We that's me and Tyyne actually. She received a plushie from Kat and a cute pet from Lenta. That's great, but Ty is still a very quiet one. She's totally different from all the other babies I have experienced so far. My blonde girl seems to prefer to listen and watch. She lightened up a little when she met Shouko the other day and so I'll take her with me, when we meet the new leaf owners. Yes, finally we decided. It was a tough decision, but we found a way both of us were content with the decision. I wonder what kind of children will grow out of these beautiful plants. Well, Nalini and Jessila are still trying to animate Tyyne to talk, but she isn't fond of being disturbed so much. She's just sucking on her new plush and stares at her older sisters with her beautiful golden eyes. I wonder if she'll ever talk ~Lena

Dear Lena Tyyne seems like a very sweet little girl, and every child deserves a cuddly little pet. So, I hope you don't mind, but I got her a little something. She's a little hyper, but that's normal. Best of luck in the future, and I hope Tyyne and Teagan can be friends later in life. Much love, Ul <3

13th April 2005 Participants : Lena, Tyyne, Kat + Shouko ( Artifical Anonymity ), Dulcea + Teagan ( as a leaf )Dulcea stood off to the side in the main room, Teagan balanced on her shoulder. She was staring down at the row of pictures, fingering the frames absently, her mind drifting to what Teagan would be like when he was older. Would he be smart? Kind? She knew it mostly depended on how he was raised, but still, she was curious. Walking inside the house with Shouko in hand, Kat immediately noticed Ul standing in front of the showcase. "Hey, Ul!" Tyyne was sucking her thumb as Lena carried her into the building. "Hey !" She announced gladly as she saw Ul and Kat, still embarrassed about herself dashing off. "I'm sorry about last time. Nobu, my dear Nobu, ran away and I'm still occupied with finding him. I don't have much time today as well." She sighed and put Tyyne on the floor near the couch. "Hello Lena. Naw, it's alright. Any leads?" Kat smiled, looking slightly worried while putting Shouko next to Tyyne. "Not at all. He jumped out of his window..." Lena sighed and frowned slightly. "How's your leaf, Ul ?" Tyyne looked at Shouko and waved. She hadn't talked yet and Lena was already worried about this, seeing that Shouko seemed to be more active. But the blonde girl just wasn't interested in doing so. Friends would understand her anyway. She spun around, lifting her hand to keep the little leaf from falling off, a smile on her face, "I think he's doing alright, though if I keeping spacing it he might blow away" she laughed, stroking him with a fingertip. Shouko saw Tyyne waving. Her friend had come back! Waving at the blonde, Shouko crawled closer to her friend. "Tyy!" "You have a point there, Ul. Has he been doing anything weird lately?" Kat laughed. "He'll be the first boy. I'm excited." Lena added and smiled slightly, looking pretty exhausted though. Tyyne instead just nodded and smiled in exchange. Shouko know that she wouldn't talk and that was good like this. Today she had brought the small plushie she had gotten from Kat and now she was showing it to the other toddler. "Me too. Wonder if he'll be hot.." Kat trailed off, winking at Lena. Knowing her friend probably wouldn't answer, Shouko was content to look at the little plushie Tyyne had brought. It looked like the one Mama had put in a bag, and left outside someone's door. She thought for a moment, "Not anything odd persay, but he twitches whenever someone new tries to touch him. Maybe he's just a bit skiddish?" The little leaf shivered under her touch, as if proving a point. "Oh yes, hopefully." Lena laughed and looked at the leaf interested. "Two other women received leaves as well. I'm so excited about this whole project." Tyyne handed the plushie to her new friend and glanced at the bow for a moment. This time she wouldn't touch this thingy, her mother always took her home when she did so. She sat down slowly, setting the little leaf down on the ground in front of her. "I suppose he has a reason to be though, he might still think there are poachers." A bit of a worried look settled on her face, wondering what she would do if he did have nightmares about poachers. Deciding to think about that when the time came, she shoved the thought from her mind, "Two others? I think I might have met one of them." Looking at Teagan, Kat said "Well, that is slightly odd. Shouko never did that." Taking the plushie and sniffing it (it smelled like daisies), Shouko mistook her friend's look. Being the helpful young person she was, she was quick to hold out her bow again. "Tyyne did almost nothing, just wiggle once in a while. And she spread those athmospheres..." Lena added and looked at her baby. The blonde one instead got worried and felt some pressure. Of course her friend wanted her to help, but she didn't want to go already.
"No." She said quietly, but loud enough for everyone to hear her.
Lena just blinked and stared. "Shouko wiggled like there was no tomorrow.." Shouko didn't know what the look that passed over Tyyne's face meant, but she certainly knew what 'no' meant. "No want?" "Atmospheres? What do you mean?" she asked curiously, stroking Teagan gently with back of a knuckle, an action that seemed to calm the little leaf. In truth, he was still afraid of poachers, it was instinct, and a very strong one at that. "She talked. Tyyne talked." Lena repeated and stared at the toddlers. What the hell did Shouko do to make her say something ? "Well, you felt a sense of happiness in the air somehow. Sometimes it was fear, which was quite depressing." Tyyne pointed at the bow and repeated her first word. "No !" "She.. doesn't normally talk, does she?" Kat was still staring at her daughter and Tyyne, unknowingly repeating Lena's thoughts. What the hell did Shouko do to make the other young Eden talk? Looking a bit dejected, Shouko looked at Tyyne. "No?" She nodded a bit, more of her attention focused on the toddler, excited that she had said her first words even though she had only known them for a few days. "That's.. Amazing. I mean, both of the things you said. This whole project." "Yeah, I'm still amazed. With everything.." She shook her head, "Well, anything you'd like to ask about?" "Yes, she has never said anything before." Lena gasped and walked over to Tyyne before she could make her point clear. "Oh Tyyne, we need to tell daddy about it. And your sisters and everyone." She hugged the confused blonde baby and smiled at the others. "As I said I need to find Nobu now or otherwise I'll be freaking out." Lena waved and walked out of the door cheerfully. Dulcea waved to the two as they left, then turned her attention back to Teagan, her mind mulling over any questions she might have had. "Well.. Hmm.. I was wondering about why he seems to be afraid of most men?" Waving to Lena and Tyyne, Kat turned to Ul. "Well, I have to leave now too. It was nice seeing you and Teagan again. I can't wait till he grows!" Kat squealed, looking for all the world as an over-enthused schoolgirl. Waving cheerfully, she took Shouko by the hand and left. She nodded, standing up carefully, Teagan balanced once again on her shoulder as she wandered toward the gardens, but first pulled a small mp3 player out of her pocket, tucking one of the earphones into her ear and letting the other hang down so Teagan could listen to the soft flute that was flowing through the air.

I'm scared. My sisters are babbling and poking me once in a while, because they want me to say something. I don't want to talk...it doesn't seem to work. People understand me when I make gestures too. Mama always understands me.
But now she is strange. She scares me. Since I said the no, she's always trying to make me say it again. People bother me, I don't want. I just want something to drink at the moment. Milk, probably. Liquid apple, probably.
I wonder where Shouko is. She has to be living in that house mom and I go to sometimes. She's always there when I am. Sho has a terrible fate. She has a strange thing on her back, which has to be heavy. It is not nice. Me tried to pull it off, but it didn't work. Then mama took me away. I hope it won't eat Sho.
Now I'm thursty. Very. I need to frown. They'll call mama. See...they do !

"Come on, Alexander! You might not know it, but MAN it's cold out here!"
A small leaf suddenly zoomed into view, then plopped itself down on the girl who had previously spoken's head. She smiled immediately, and looked down at the basket she was carrying. She had folded the blanket which covered it's contents just right so that what it contained could be seen, even if only slightly. A note sat on top of the blanket, too. It read:
Letter Dear Tyyne and Lena, We were strolling through the minishops today, and Alexander saw to it by poking me persistantly that I buy this little plushie for the two of you! My head is still throbbing, but you know, it's all good. cool Hope you enjoy! ~ <3 White Feather and Alexander
Upon unravelling the blanket further, a clear image of the plushie would be found:

"Let's go!" Feather set the basket down at Lena's doorstep, and without another word, dissapeared down the road and out of sight.

I feel guilty for neglecting this journal for a few days, but a lot of busy things happened. I'm still very worried and occupied with Nobu vanishing and I simply can't get everything in line right now. At least Tyyne's a very quiet toddler and easy to please. Nalini and Jessila try to show her how to walk now and she's really putting effort in it. She manages to get hold of the couch and walk along it while pulling the cloth hardly. We're all proud, but she still doesn't talk. Not a single word. It worries me a lot and I hope it will get better if she meets more of her kind. Oh yes, I've heard that Raven and Kajika appeared as well, just like Teagan did a few days ago. Wonderful, huh ? There's also a new leaf which is able to fly. I tell you this project is worth it. After all we got two wonderful presents. First of all another plushie which looks all doggy-like. Tyyne uses it as a pillow and loves to twist it's ears. And yesterday a little someone arrived sent by Kat. It's a pretty kitty indeed and his name is cheesecake. Tyyne is so much in love with him and she pets him all day. He seems to like her too, although he's reacting grumpy when other people come closer. Well, what can I do about it ? I even once witnessed that she talked to him. Ty seems to call him Cass though...at least that's what I understood... We'll see what's coming about ~Lena

26th April 2005 Participants : Lena, Tyyne, Dulcea + Teagan, Kat + Shouko "Catch me if you can!" squealed Teagan as he bolted into the building, using the door for once in his life. He wasn't alone though, he clutched a little calico against his chest, the poor creature looking nearly as haggard as the child's mother as trudging in after him."Teagan" she whined, praying the boy would listen, "Teagan honey, how about some quiet time? You like quiet time right, to play with Maxie?" He held the cat closer, a thoughtful look falling over his face. "Play with Maxie" he decided, plopping down onto the ground as he let the cat out of his grasp.A soft scream escaped the blonde's mouth as she stared at the young boy, who had just entered the familiar building. She put her hands in front of her eyes ( always a good way to hide ) and started to breath irregularly. Where was Shouko ? She needed her to help. Where was Ma ?Lena was working in the kitchen sorting out some papers about the project. She collected some information about all the owners and especially about the growing rate and timespan. As she heard the door a smile crossed her face. Finally some distraction ! He payed no attention to the other child, but instead focused on teaching the cat to dance. For some reason he didn't seem to mind getting scratched. "Kib kib kib" he chanted, holding the little cat's front paws up in the air.Ul breathed a sigh of relief, looking around for one of the other parents. "Hello? Anyone here?" she called. Well, that was a stupid question, the daisy child was here, so her mother must be as well. As Tyyne heard the other one talking she opened her eyes again and removed her hands slowly...very slowly. "Mew ?" She said quietly and oogled the pretty nice plushie. She had a real cat as a pet and so it seemed quite familiar to her. Perhapst this one wasn't so bad at all.Lena got up quickly and stepped into the main room. "Ul !" She smiled friendly and glanced at Teagan and her own daughter for a moment. "How are you ? How's your baby ?" "Maxie say Roar!" he squealed, thrusting the frightened creature toward her, to show that, even if he treated it like a toy, it was alive. She turned her head for a moment, cringing slightly when she noticed how he treated the cat, "Well, I suppose I'm alright. But I worry about Teagan. He had a fever a few nights ago, and it went down, but something still bothers me. I don't know, maybe I'm just paranoid." Tyyne shivered slightly as he motioned, but still reached out to stroke the kitty. "Ty likes." She stated and moved closer very carefully. The blonde still feared the tail a lot, but the cat was a good distraction. And after all Shouko seemed to like this one."Fever ? Oh I would be worried to !" Lena exclaimed and looked at Tyyne wondering if she could get infected by playing with Teagan for a moment. But she deleted this thought quickly as she heard the two words her toddler had spoken. "He makes her talk ! That's wonderful. She's so quiet usually." "Maxie cuddly" he said proudly, though a few scratches on his face said otherwise."Maybe she'll be able to teach him to calm down" she laughed, flashing a weak smile. "I know it shouldn't bother me so much, but it's just. I don't know, I guess I worry because he can diseases that affect humans and those that affect lemurs." Tyyne crawled closer and petted the cat's head slightly and very carefully just as she had been teached by Lena. "No hurt !" She exclaimed in an unfamiliar tone and nodded. "Me Ty." The blonde added and her ponytail wiggled as she moved her head."I hope so. Perhaps they can learn a lot from each other." Lena said and sighed. "Tyyne is much too calm for a baby. I'm not used to this, it seems like she loves the silence." As the mother listened to Ul's words her eyes grew wide. "Oh no, I haven't even thought about this. Do you think Ty could get some kind of...plant disease ?" He smiled, wiggling as he spoke, "Tean!" Alright, so he couldn't pronounce Gs that well. She thought for a moment, "I suppose so, probably not the ones passed through the roots though. At least, one wouldn't think so." "Tea !" The girl announced and giggled. It was so funny that this boy was named like the smelly liquid her ma used to drink. She looked at him more carefully and was relieved that he didn't wear any strange bows or clothes like her friend Shouko. Lena sighed and nodded. "I was just trying to order all the information I got about the Edens so far. You know, writing down what happened when they transformed into toddlers and so on. Right now it was always different...I really can't get a system out of it." Teagan nodded happily, "Yeah!" This girl seemed different than his cousin, her hair was yellow, and she acted funny."Well, then there's your system! They're all different" she laughed, fairly unsure what she had said had even made any sense. "So I was wondering, do you think Teagan will always be this energetic, or is it just a phase?" Now that they had exchanged their names, Tyyne didn't know what to do. Her sisters always wanted to play, but she had never liked to do so. So...what ? Her golden eyes looked at Tea and she finally spotted something funny. His shoes ! Oh he had the greatest most casual shoes ! "Shoo, shoo !""Oh...sounds reasonable." The mother said and grinned. "Perhaps I'm just thinking to complicated as usual." She laughed slightly and looked at Teagan. "Well, he's somehow acting like a Lemur, right ? I guess he'll be always quite active...but this means he'll find a lot of friends and will be liked by girls. Look at Tyyne !" Teagan looked confused for a moment, unsure of what she wanted, then realized what she had meant. "Neaker!" he squealed, tugging the shoe off his right foot happily."I suppose. He doesn't seem to bright though, does he?" She held her hand against her forehead, trying not to laugh at his antics. Tyyne nodded and offered her own blue shoe to look at. "Shoo." She added to her statement and looked at the 'neaker'.Lena laughed as well and grinned. "Oh well, he's male. I think boys don't care about shoes so much. I don't know if Tyyne's smart though. Sometimes I believe she's able to do more than she's willing to reveal." Teagan blinked for a moment, holding his own shoe in his mouth as he reached down to touch hers. "Foo?" he asked. She paled, "Teagan! Spit that out!" He looked over at his mother, letting the shoe drop from his mouth obediently."Good boy!" she called, turning back to Lena, "Maybe, she seems like a sweet child." He wanted to eat a shoe ? Tea was weird...Tyyne turned her head towards his mother and listened to her words carefully. She was right, so right. "Spit out." Ty repeated and looked towards her own mother.Lena smiled and nodded slightly. "He's so cute." Ty decided to turn back to her new companion and smiled very faintly. "Tea ma anree ?"He cocked his head to the side, more focused on the differences between his cousin and this girl than what was being said, "Eh?""Yeah, I'll give him that. He is cute. But I don't think he got an smarter taking a human form. It's odd though. He has the attention span of a lemur, but it seems an awful lot like ADHD. Isn't that odd?" "Tea ! Tea mama an-an-angree ?" Tyyne had problems to pronounce the word 'angry' right and shook her head in disbelieve that he didn't understand her. "Well, sounds exhausting. Does he at least sleep at night ? Gladly I don't have problems with sending Ty to sleep." He pouted, looking up at his mother, "Iunnink" he blurted out, trying not to cry. Was Momma really mad at him?"Sometimes, but most of the time he just swings from the light and then sleeps during the day." She said with a little smile. "Oh oh ?" Ty said and patted her new friend's shoe. He shouldn't cry that hadn't been her intention. "Tea nice." She said and felt quite ok with this kind of comfort."Aww sounds awesome. Sometimes I think it's boring that Ty acts so...normal. Always..." Lena sighed and looked at the toddlers. He sniffled for a moment, leaning over to lick her cheek, "Fanku""You should praise her for that, you'd think differently after a few nights of wailing and broken glass." Tyyne was stunned as he licked her cheek and her face expressed disgust in all ways mixed with a bit of astonishment. "Noooo." She wailed and tried to rub her cheek. She had gotten this gesture quite wrong and had imagined he wanted to spit on her."Oh well, probably we should exchange children for a night so we're happy to have our own one back." Lena suggested and turned to Tyyne as she screamed. What was wrong ? His bottom lip trembled as he burst into tears, she hated him for sure. "Momma!" he screamed, taking sharp breaths in between wails. He'd make himself sick if he kept this up."Hold on" she tried to tell the woman, though with so much noise it was a little hard to hear. She ran over to the two, scooping Teagan up off the ground, "What's wrong baby?" she asked, rocking him back and forth as she stroked his back in an effort to calm him down. He took a few more sharp breaths, not sure exactly why he was crying. "She. She. She doelike me"Tyyne wailed even louder as she heard the other one screaming and tears were dripping out of their eyes. "Ma ! Ma ! Tea !" She said and her voice went from a very high tone towards a tiny whisper. "Oh no." Lena sighed and walked towards her young toddler to pick her up gently. "Shh, it's alright Ty. What's wrong ?" The toddler didn't respond and just cuddled up to her mother's chest. "Tea." She whispered and closed her eyes, which was quite usual for her when the scenery became to stressfull.Coming into the house, the first thing that reached Kat's ears was wailing. Toddler wailing. Sprinting into the room, a frightened Shouko on her arm, Kat stopped abruptly. "What in all of Gaia is going on in here?!" She quickly put down Shouko, next to the place the other two had been, and turned her suspicious expression on the two other adults. "Well?" Tyyne's face lightened up as she noticed the other girl and she leaned down to reach her almost making Lena lose hold of her. "Sho! Tea ! Sho !" She repeated and nodded."Uh hello Anon. There's some trouble going on here. First they played peacefully and now...well, some trouble." She grinned and shrugged putting the toddler on the ground again. He pressed himself against his mother's shoulder, his little teeth clenched on her skin as he cried quietly into her shirt.Ul rocked the boy carefully, he might be a vegetarian, but his teeth but still sharp. She looked to the other woman with a pleading expression, "Do you know what's wrong?" she asked softly, trying not to upset either of the toddlers any more. "Ehh.. Perhaps they had a misunderstanding? Communication, I understand, is pretty hard in that age." Kat smiled, unsure. Finally coming out of her petrified state, Shouko immediately noticed her blonde friend. And she was sad. Why was she sad? Furrowing her brow, Shouko hugged her like Mama would do her when she dreamt of fire. She'd recently learned that the smell she sometimes emitted seemed calming to others, and wasted no time in putting it on fully."Whew!" DiYanni breathed, coming to a stop in front of a small but welcoming building. Examining scribbled instructions on a piece of parchment, the young woman nibbled her bottom lip nervously. "This looks like the right place," she murmurred to herself, glancing about the location before allowing her eyes to rest on the front door of the shop. After another brief moment of surveying the property, DiYanni stepped forward and tapped gently on the door's surface. "I think we have to leave now. It's late and I can't allow Nalini and Jessila to stay alone too much. I want to keep my apartment." The young woman sighed and picked Tyyne up. Why was she never able to play with her friend ? Terrible...so terrible ! As Lena opened the door she noticed someone new. "Oh hello...welcome at Eden Project. I'm sorry, but I have to leave already. Come inside anyway...I hope we'll meet another day." And with those words she hurried off with a wailing Tyyne.

27th April 2005
Participants : Lena + Tyyne, Dulcea + Teagan, Kat + Shouko, DiYanni and Madeline ( as leaf ), Feather + Alexander, Bird + RavenHearing a voice calling from the other side of the door, DiYanni tried the doorknob and found that it was unlocked. She peered shyly into the Eden Project building and saw Lena and a young toddler. "Oh!" DiYanni exclaimed, recognizing Lena as the woman she had briefly encountered when she had arrived yesterday. "Hello. My name is DiYanni Templeton. Are you an employee of Eden Project?" Lena smiled as she recognised the woman. "Nice to meet you. My name is Lena Caraway. Well, without exaggerating too much...I founded the project. This is my daughter Tyyne, she was the first leaf we knew of." The young woman got up to shake the hand of the newcomer. "How's your leaf ?" As Lena approached her, DiYanni took a faltering step away, a little taken aback that the very founder of the Eden Project was before her! However, she recovered, realizing that she was being rude. She reached for Lena's hand, taking it in a weak handshake. "Ms. Caraway! So then...you are the one responsible for Madeline, yes?" DiYanni asked, again reaching for the leaf that she kept closely in her coat pocket. She held it out to Lena, as if the other woman had never seen it. "This Eden...do you recognize it? Can you tell me anything about it?" Lena put one of her hands below her chin to reveal some kind of thoughtful pose. "Madeline...what a beautiful name." She muttered and looked at the leaf intensively. "Yes, we sent it to you because we regarded you as a responsible person. This little one was found in the backyard. It had been catched by a spider's web." The woman reported and nodded to support her words. Tyyne instead stared at the new woman curiously and pointed at the leaf. "Nice ?" M...Me? Me specifically?" DiYanni asked in disbelief, pressing one hand to her chest. "...And in a spider's web...? How frightening." She shuddered, thinking of such a ginger little thing being caught in the grips of a frightening creature. When the girl on the floor made a curious inquiry regarding the leaf in DiYanni's hand, she paused to regard the child. "Oh, you're an adorable one," she said quietly, kneeling to show Tynne the leaf. "Does it remind you of yourself?" Lena smiled. This woman seemed nice, they had made the right decision. "Yes, actually every child had strange circumstances. One of the leaves was even able to fly." She shrugged and watched Tyyne curiously. The toddler instead just looked at the leaf and nodded. "Sista ?" "Sista?" DiYanni repeated after Tynne, slightly puzzled. She turned to Lena, asking, "Ms. Caraway...is it that the children born from these leaves are all related?" Or did Tynne already have some recognition of Madeline...? "MEMEME! ZOOOM!" A shrill, cheerful cry pierced the otherwise quiet air outside of the headquarters. A furious flapping of small wings could also be heard. "Tell me, what's going to happen with those plushies of yours break? It's bound to happen soon, with the way you play!" Feather pushed open the door of the building, Alexander, as before, perched on her shoulders in a piggy-back like fashion. The boy was carrying with him a plushie in each hand, the one in the right being that of an Eoghan plushie made in his image, and in the other the multicolored bird plushie. He was happily shifting his arms around in mid air, making the birds 'fly', so to speak. "BIRDIE GO ZOOMZOOMZOOOOM!" Dark circles shown clear under Feather's eyes. "Hello, everyone.." "What are you talking about Tyyne ? She's not your sister." Lena said and frowned slightly. What was the daisy baby talking about ? "Actually I'm quite confused myself. We haven't detected any relationships right now. I can only imagine that they somehow met each other in their past life. Before they turned into leaves ?" Tyyne just shook her head slightly and touched the leaf gently. "Nice." Bird, clutching a squirming Raven in her arms, flattened her side against the door to open it. She didn't dare take one hand off of the child, as she had been quite a rebel during the day-- two scraped knees and a frizzed feather. "Jeez... Raven, I've run out of bandages from your walking-atempts. Quit wiggling." Raven made a sour face to her mother, and payed no heed to the demand. "Oh. Hi!" Bird greeted, nodding her head as a substitute for a wave. Raven squawked as a finger poked her, wriggling fiercly. DiYanni felt her mouth slightly agape from what Lena was telling her. Past life? Her mind was instantly buzzing with questions regarding the circumstances of this past life and the identities of the Eden children. However, before she could ask, she was interrupted by the arrival of the two women she had met yesterday. "Ms. Feather, Ms. Bird, good morning!" DiYanni greeted as she stood. "Play nice, now, Alexander. Hello, DiYanni! Nice to see you today." Feather set him down gently on the ground, placing a few more plushies beside him, and stumbled over to the couch where she collapsed into it's soft interior instantly. "Sleep...please..." She groaned, burying her face into a pillow. Alexander peered around as soon as he had been released from Feather's hands, large amber eyes blinking with excitement. Maybe he could find someone to play birdie zoom with today? Or more? YAY!
He squealed at the thought, kicking his legs, as well. He crawled over to where the rest of his toys lay, and happily began to play with them "Yes, we don't know much about it yet but..." As Feather and Bird entered Lena smiled broadly. "Hey, I haven't seen both of you in a while and...I never met your adorable toddlers." The young woman was kind of embarrassed that she had to walk off so quickly in the past weeks. Tyyne instead was just scared by the newcomers and started to crawl towards the couch to hide quickly. Feather looked up, though slightly reluctant to begin with, and waved at Lena. An imprint of the pillow's design shown on her cheek. She smiled tiredly and gestured toward Alexander, who was now mashing his plushies together and squealing "MUSHYPLUSHIE!" "That's my little guy right there...He may look cute, but he's SUCH a handful at home. Crawling all over the place and getting into everything...I can never take my eyes off of him.." Raven gave a tremendous lurch, tumbling out of Bird's suddenly lax arms and to the floor, squealing excitedly. She spread her arms out instincitvely, small feathers giving her some leeway from the speed. The child flopped on the ground, a very smug smile on her lips. She blinked when she saw some more strange people. "... I give. I give, I give, I surrender." Bird sighed, planting a hand on her forehead, exasperated. "Hullo, DiYanni. Nice to see you again," she smiled. "And.. Ho my goodness! Lena? I haven't seen you in forever! How's it been going?" She blinked as Feather collapsed on some pillows. After seeing Alexander's energetic form she bit her lip. "Ms. Feather, how has young Alexander been doing?" DiYanni asked. Watching the toddler hurry over to entertain himself, she added, "Difficult for me to imagine how active these Edens become when the leaves are so..." Her eyes dropped to Madeline, the leaf she still held between her fingers. "So Ms. Caraway," she said, returning her attention back to the Eden employee, "is there something that will give away what the child inside the leaf is like? Or is it impossible to determine?" "IHAICHU! I DOWANNA GO! IHAICHU!" came the screams of the furious toddler as he wrestled against his mother's grasp. "LEMIGO! LEMIGO!!!" Ul battled with the child as she carried him into the building, a little trail of blood running down her arm. He could scream himself hoarse for all she cared, he had needed those shots. A few steps through the doorway he chomped down on her arm and wriggled out of her grasp, taking off toward the gardens, his face flushed with rage. "IHAICHU!!"Ul clutched her arm, swearing under her breath as she shut the door, barely noticing the other parents. She held her hand over closed eyes for a moment, trying her hardest not to cry. What was wrong with him lately? "Oh I've been pretty well, beside a lot of work needs to be done. That's why I can't stay at the project's house for more than an hour or so. Problems with having to many children and trying to cope with their problems..." Lena said and noticed that almost everyone seemed just as exhausted as she was herself. Finally her attention moved bacak to Ms. DiYanni. "Actually it was a bit revealed by their habits. Alexander flew around, Kajika slurped all kind of water and so on. Does your leaf do anything...special ?" Tyyne instead was completely out of mind and moved below the dusty couch watching the scenery. Caused by the grey stuff she had to sneeze loudly and became even more scared to attract someone's attention. More people ? Where did they come from. "elp, elp !" She called to her plushies. "It's a...challenge, to say in the least. He's very inquisitive, which I guess is a good thing, but like I said, he just NEVER stops. "...And don't worry about your leaf growing up to be all weird and hyper, either. Mine just kinda...came that way. He was going little flips and stuff all over the place only a little while after I got him." "WAVEN! WAVENWAVEN!" Alexander cried as soon as he laid eyes on his blue friend, immediately tossing a plushie over at her.
"PLAYPLAYPLAYNOW! BIRDIE ZOOM!!!" Bird thought for a moment. "... Raven didn't do anything but shine occassionally. Curious." Raven squealed delightedly at the sight of Alexander, catching the plushie. Standing ungracefully, Raven tried to run over toward him. She tripped on an untied shoelace, however, and sprawled to the floor in a heap. Giggling, well used to it by now, the girl picked herself up and crawled the rest of the way.
"Awwex! B--biwdee... zoom?" she inquired, tilting her head."Get out of the dust, Tyyne." Lena moved towards the couch quickly and pulled the very scared blonde out of her hiding place. "Noooo." The young one exclaimed and started to cry, while tugging her mother's clothes. "No ! Sho ! Tea ! No !" She repeated and Lena just sighed. "I think we should go home. She needs some rest and there's just too much going on here for Ty. I'm so sorry, hopefully we'll see each other soon. If not I need to invite all of you for a cup of tea." She waved and tried to comfort the crying toddler as she walked out of the shop.
