It was slowly becoming day as they neared the valley, it was obvious that they were because the air was crackling with heat and there was an orange glow in the sky. They came over a hill and bellow them stretched the nightmareic valley.
Like he'd sasid there was no grass the earth was charred black, rivers of orange and red lava rolled through the valley anda volcano far off eploded sendign the hot lava thousands of feet into the air. Bones lay scadered standing out against the black earth perfectly that you could tell what the animals had once been...most of the bones were those of normal horses such as soquili.
Bellow them the forms of nightmares could be seen, their manes and tails flickered with flames, there were all colors of the rainbow and even more than that. Vib looked over at Awnaety "welcome to my birth home."

Stopping right beside Vibrant to see. Her eyes went wide as she saw many things that she only think might be in hell. Or even where Kalonas live. "Wow." Awnae was just about to step on the land, but remembered maybe she shouldn't. "This place is pretty cool." Nodding."Everything is very colorful. Looks dangerous...just as I thought."
The bones made her take a few steps backwards. Oh my gosh...soquili bones?! The mare wasn't freaking out or anything, just afraid that she might get eaten. Although she hoped that if anything try to eat her, that Vibrant would protect her. Looking at him, she could see the wind blowing by, his hair bouncing around like a flag in the wind. That is when Awnae kinda began to have a bit of feelings for him, but quickly looked down blushing. I've never had this feeling before... Shaking her head, she pretended nothing had happened.
"Uh...well...oh..." She had no idea what to say, since this feeling came up. Something very new to her, but she still knows what it meant. "Now what shall we do?" Not daring to look at him, in case she blushes again and he might see.

Vib smiled at her then something...or someone took his attention away. A shudder ran through Vib's body and he stood staring at a massive nightmare whom stared right back.
Vib's nostrils were flared as he stared the other down, he stallion was black as ebony and his flamming mane matched, he had eyes like Vibrant's a glowing blood red color, he also had a skull and cross bone son his rump, but his were white with blood rolling form the mouth and eye sockets. Extremly long pearly fangs graced his lower jawl and crimson hooves surronded in the black flames looked just as deadly.
Vibrant tossed his head letting out a soft nicker, twoards the other stallion whose ears cocked twoards them and replied with a sound more like a big cats roar.

Quickly running to hide behind Vibrant, she then shook her head and walked out bravely. "Uhm..." Not sure if she should speak or not, she chose it is better not to speak. Looking at Vibrant, she felt courage, that she should be brave and not run or hide. Standing straight and tall, she stared at the other stallion. With the eyes of hatred. Like if she had a grudge agains't the stallion. Although she noticed he looked like Vibrant, but Vibrant was definetly more better in her opion.

Vib bowed his head still staring at the stallion then he silently voiced "...Father..." His tail was slowly swinging back and forth. He suddenly shook his head and snorted when the stallion disappeared like a flash of black lightning leavign only trail of flames behind him.
"I'm sorry ... I was just shocked to see him here," his nostrils flared, "ready to leave?" He watched her quietly the glowing red eyes watching her. It was then kinda obvious that the stallion bellow had been his father they were built the same sleek and powerful, and he took alot after the other eexcept the sparklies and neon pink/green hair which more than likely came form his mother.

Nearly wanting to fall and die on the spot. Her face went quickly blank. "Fa...father? Oh dear." she whispered to herself. "Uh...you really look a like. "Looking down. Then looking back up. "I'm definetly ready to leave." Nodding. Still blushing a bit by looking at him. Must....hide....blushing... Awnae no matter what couldn't stop her heart and feelings.

He turned away form the valley and trotted down the slope "we need to make good time and get back towards the mountains where there are caves... I have the feeling it'll be a cold night." His muscles moved like fluid strands of steel under the soft coat as he trotted forward every sense alert for the sign of somehwere to bed down.

Following him. It felt like they've been walking for hours non-stop. Finally reaching the bottom of the mountain, she looked up at the mountain and him. "Well, here we are..." Trotting towards some water nearby, she took a sip.

He watched her quietly and looked up as the chill he'd predicted set in and quickly grew worse, a puff of steam poured forth when he exhailed "Awn ... we need shelter soon." he was worried mor for her health than his, the blood cursing through his body could easily keep him warm in the coldest conditions.

Shivering a bit, she quickly loked around, running up the path up the mountain, she yelled back down. "Here, there should be a cave!" Walking a few more metres, not too far away, she saw an opening into the cave. Happily trotting inside, she found it a bit warmer and cozy. "I think this should be our shelter. No light, so it is dark." Hearing her voice echo in the cave.

He followed her into the cave and lay down towards the back, it didn't take long before the heat radiating form him started to warm the small area around his hulking body. The glow form his eyes cast an almost erie look around him.

Luckily when he stepped into the room, she could see a bit. Since Vibrant's sparkles are so bright to her. Everything in the tiny room started to show. In the corner she could see rocks there. "Oh boy, it is cold out there." The moon shown through the grey clouds.

Vib layed his head down and looke dup at her hopping he that he didn't get knocked in the face for what he was abut to say, "you can lay down beside me...my coat tends to be warmer than a normal Soquili's would be."

Smiling, she layed down beside him, and didn't hit him or anything. Awnae felt quite comfortable around this stallion. "You're warm indeed." Out of the corner of her eye, she could see something in the corner. Standing up she walked towards it. Wow! My luck! Finding 2 freshly picked apples just sitting there. She picked one up in her mouth and kicked one over to Vib. Walking over slowly, she layed back down and started eating. "Fresh." she said and her mouth was kinda full of chewed up apple.

"Comes from my heratige..." was the only answer he gave to the fact his coat was warmer than any others. When she set the apple infront of him he lowered his head and began to eat.
Once fineshed the male's eyes dropped slightly and without thinking her layed his head across her back and fell asleep his breath comng in steady puffs of air.
His ears twitched wildly in his sleep and he started mumbling softly.
