After setting up the tent, Kitara returns to Jay's side and Margem approaches Darian.
"Darian, you know you could have helped set up the tent...."

"I was talking to a friend." Darian replies. The elf sighs. She is right, she should take priority over people who are friends and nothing more.

Lael smiles at Margem. "So you're the famous Margem. Several years ago I had the privilege to spend some time with Darian. I heard quite a bit about you." She holds out a hand to shake. "I'm Lael. It's a pleasure to meet you."

The redheaded Mystic shakes the albino's hand as something flashes in her grey eyes.
"You look like a Lael I once knew. But you couldn't be the same Lael because that was over a human's lifetime ago," she says before smiling, "Anyways, I'd like to hear what Darian told you about me, to make sure he's not exagerating. ...and I'm not really famous, at least popularity-wise."

"Over a hundred years ago now, hey Margem?" Darian asks. His memories were now completely restored. He recognises everyone from his past and can easily place a face to a name, most of the faces have not changed that much anyways.

Lael looks thoughtful. "And she looked exactally like me, you say?" she asks.

"Why, thank you!" Margem smiles gently, "However, I'd have to say he's a bit biased...."
She slings an arm into the elf's arm before asking him, mentally, 'Aren't I right, Darian? A bit biased, no?'
She then turns to the albino woman and says, "Yeh, over a hundred years. And you look very much like her. Related, perhaps? Maybe you're a descendant of the albino Lael we met all those years ago. Maybe we should get a third and forth opinion...."
She calls for Kitara and Jay as she waits for Lael's answer/response.
((OOC: Early morning tomorrow. I'm off for the night!))

"Kitara and Jay should be able to help." Darian says. "It's strange, everyone you're camping near has met this other Lael. I must say the similarities are uncanny, which is why I said you looked familiar when we first met."

"I think I might know who she was. Although it's a long shot," Lael says. "I mean, I never met her. She died before I was born. But my mother and grandmother say we were very similar, and in the pictures of her when she was younger we look identical...." She trails off, not quite sure of herself.

Kitara approaches Margem, her daughter and husband slipping into the tent for a bit. She stands at the redhead's side before asking what was going on.
"Kitara, I'd like you to meet someone," Margem says, motioning towards Lael.
The green eyed elf turns to the albino and, frowning, asks, "Lael? It couldn't be. She was fully human and wouldn't be able to live this long..."

Lael, still frowning, says, "My name is Lael, but I am not the Lael you speak of. I believe.... I believe that you may have known my great-great grandmother. I was named after her and in her youth my mother and grandmother say that we looked identical. Not only that but my mother and grandmother used to tell me stories that she had told them... About a time when she was able to travel with some wonderful people. Her village was completely destroyed, they said, and she set out to find out how and who did it. She met up with two elves and they travled together. Does it sound familiar?"

"Very." Darian replies. "Let me guess, one of the elves passed out and was cursed."

Kitara and Margem glance at each other before they both start to chuckle.
"Yeh, it's a bit familiar, Lael. Actually, it's very familiar...." she says before extending a hand, "Well, it's nice to meet you, Lael. I must leave you, Darian and Margem alone as Trea wants to go swimming soon."
Exactly when the elvish lady says "Trea", her husband and daughter step out of the tent. The girl, with black and blue hair, runs up to her mother in her light-pink swimsuit a scuba mask on and flippers on her feet.
"Mommy! Come on!! I want to swim!"
Kitara bids them all goodbye before walking back towards the tent as she says, "Trea, I have to get my swimsuit on still."
