i think he does have a bit of foreign blood. but those are contacts.

Yeah, he does wear a lot of contacts. Though he has mixed blood, so they could also be his true colour...
Also, that high school picture isn't real, I don't think. On the interview they showed the yearbook they got it from...but the yearbook had the dates on it. Those dates were completely off (and I don't mean off of the 1540 mark. Off the 1973 rumoured mark)

Alright, this is what I heard: Gackt has French on one side and Russian on another. Having seen pictures of him as a very young child, the eyes in the pictures seem to be a very deep navy colour. Children with dark blue eyes either grow to have extremely light blue eyes or a brown so dark it is almost black. Gackt-sama is always wearing sunglasses. Japanese with blue eyes are very sensitive to the sunlight and the sunglasses would be an obvious cure for that affliction. His skin colour, nose and cheekbones are also factors to take into consideration. These are foreign features, and if he does have French and Russian in him, blue eyes would not b surprising. But, as Gackt is always changing his eye colour for the camera we may never know. Different eye colours set different moods. He usually has brown eyes in the pictures of him in a romantic situation, or in dashing costumes. His light blue eyes set off a mysterious, dangerous and sometimes fantastical edge.
I like to think his blue eyes are real, but I love the brown on him as well. His eyes are shaped so nicely; like two yummy almonds, ready for consummation and he looks so cool behind those shades.

It's imposible for a Japanese person to have any colour eyes except brown. If he is mixed, it's with a Korean, who also have brown eyes.

They have to be contacts. He's more than half Japanese, 0.1% of some other nationality wouldn't be enough to get you blue eyes. Brown eyes are a dominant eye color, unfortunately. >_< They show up over almost every other color. I wear color contacts too because I hate my brown eyes, they're usually aqua blue or silver. <3

Now, I've heard the same thing that he has, at least, French in him. And that the blue eyes comes from that side of his family. I've also heard that his eyes were a very dark blue when he was younger and turned to that icy blue color we're all use to seeing. The other colors 'might' all be contacts but let's keep this in mind, some people's eyes actually will change to different colors depending on their moods so they could either be contacts or he could just simply have chameleon eyes. Either way, he's still a very handsome man no matter what. I hope to see him married with a child one day. Crule of me to say, I know, but I would love to see a child from him.

i say they are lenses. though i can't see the lens lines... if you stare really hard at someone with contacts, you can see the contact line. :XP: only cuz i did that to myself. sweatdrop i'm such a dork. sweatdrop anyways! also i had a similar discussion in my biotechnology class back in high school about genetic traits and inheritance. for asians, it is super hard to get blue eyes... cuz well... asians all have brown eyes (being i'm asian, my family is asian, my friends are asian, and ppl i've encounter that are asian all have brown eyes). unless he had a genetic mutation, but that's like hella HELLA rare. the only asian guy i know that has blue eyes (exactly as blue as Mista Gackt's) were contacts. i don't know how much percent of foreign blood Gackt, aside from his japanese bloodline, he has... if be he is mix-blooded. cuz i have a friend that is half japanese and half irish... and well... he looks hella japanese... the only thing that shows that he is mix was that his hair was extremely lighter than the typical general asian hair. i can go on with more of my own opinions, but i ranther not bore/nor ramble. sweatdrop but that's my take of his awesomely sexy eyes (regardless be contacts or real). ^_^

I have an asian friend who's half Irish too, peachie69142. But here's the weird thing. She has asian features but her hair is curly and red and her eyes are green like her mom. She get's the asian features from her father. She's stunningly beautiful.

She's stunningly beautiful. oh wow. my friend that is half japanese half irish, his hair is light light brown and fine. his eyes are brown, kinda light-ish... i think there is a slight green-tone to it, but i don't stare at him much cuz he takes it as a staring contest... or a flirt sign stare so typical of him though... anyways! he also has alittle brother... and ummm... if i were to compare them both to each other, his little bro looks HELLA HELLA lot more asian than he does. his brother looks just plain japanese, if no one asked. he, himself, looks more irish when standing next to his brother. genetics is a hard thing to talk about cuz it varies for everyone. ^_^
