I am 17 so I have no need for parental consent. but one thing I have to say is DONT lie about your age just to chat on the boards and send neomail for if your parents do not want you to chat you should respect their decision and obey them. you will turn 13 in no time then you will not need consent to chat on the boards and in neomail.

When I first joined neo, I was 12(I'm 15 now), so I just said I was 14.

I have parental permission. But the "spam" messages about "Become Neopets Staff and get free items! Go to blah" are really annoying.

Although you have to respect your parents desisions, some people are a little extreme
banning a 12 yera old from neo, because they were caught chatting on a guild board, and then banning them from every site where you were able to chat, hvaing to check every site she went on, and not letting her have aim or msn til she was 13

I think som people just over react from little things *sigh*
