Here's a good one!
Tom walks in to find d**k asleep on the sofa and Harry dead on the floor in a puddle of water. What happened?

I heard something similar to that once but there was more to the story. Let me see if I can remember it how I heard it ....
One night at a Hotel some crooks broke in and stole some jewels. On their way out they killed Romeo and Juliet and there was a puddle of water on the floor in the middle of the hall. When the police arived they determined only the jewels were gone and they didn't care that Romeo and Juliet died. How were they killed?
... Or something like that is how I heard it. But if It's the same story Romeo and Juliet are Fish and their fish bowl was knocked off something and crashed (making the puddle of water on the floor) and the fishes suffocated to death due to lack of water, am I right?

Maybe d**k came home drunk and knocked over Harry's fish bowl.
