Wrigley stretched for a minute, swaying his tail back and forth, and straitened himself back up and padded over to her more and smiled, he remembered the night he left like it was only moments before, how strangely easy it was to leave, how his so-called companions of the sled team just let him go.

"I left during the night...while the men slept indoors with a fire, I had to stay outside with the other dogs in the snow, they didn't tie us up to anything after you were at a certain age. I could've left earlier but I couldn't..." he stopped for a moment and gathered his thoughts and sighed, "honeslty, I was afraid...they fed me, gave me somewhere to sleep at night though it was nothing special...I don't know how to hunt at all...for food I was totally dependent on them...I'm ashamed for being like that...I should've left earlier and at least tried..."

Shifting his pawshe looked down, "my parents would...or would've...or...well, they probably wouldn't like how I got so accustomed to that way of living...but I'm glad I left...I didn't have any freedom, any real friends...I was basically a prisoner of my own will sad to say..." He then raised his head and turned to look at Cassidy, and he smiled softly, "But now I can be free no? Have a place to stay, here...I like it here...for a few reasons." He said with a smirk and curled his tail to lightly bursh up against hers in a funny gesture, he then dropped his tail adn pretended he hadn't done anything at all, though he couldn't help but smile at her.

"Well then Miss Cassidy, I have had my share or depressing stories no? I do believe that you however know this land pretty well," he smirked and turned a bit and held up his paw as if ushering her on like a gentleman, "I do inquire we go for a stroll," he couldn't help but chuckle at himself, "I apoligize...habit of mine...I like to make others laugh..."

Wrigley swayed his tail back adn forth a bit and nodded in response to her words, they made sense, though his might not have been perfect in sentence structure as he would have liked, he seemed to be confusing Cassidy when he ddn't want to. Oh well...looks like he had somehting to get better at now though.

Smiling he sort of took a small leap forward, playful though most likely funny to watch him, a big 'strong' fuzzy white mass suddenly leap forward with no reason what so ever, but he was excited. Cassidy would show him around. Perhaps, along the way, they would meet this uncle of hers, and he could ask to stay here. Though Wrigley did wonder if her uncle would be cross at him for being alone with his neice...not like he did anything wrong!...did he?

He shook the thought of of his head and smiled, blinking once or twice, brown orbs fixated on her, "Then lead the way Cassidy, I shall follow" he said in a smooth tone of voice, though he went it whole heartedly.

Shaking his pelt of as much sand bits as possible Wrigley smiled and straightened himself up a bit. He smiled, deep brown eyes on her, his tail curled a bit haphazardly for a moment, then calmed, slowly swaying back and forth like the gentle sway of a metronome.

"Then to the lake then...sounds quite interesting..." She shuffled over next to her standing side by side, he smirked and nudged her playfully with his shoulder against her own, "it also sounds like someone like blackberries...eh?" with a smile he grinned in a rather stupid yet funny manner.

"Though swimming might not be the best idea when we get there...I might sink..." he laughed and shifted his paws beneath him, tail swaying, his floof of a pelt being gently brushed against by the breeze, "Which way?"

With the word of fish mentioned Wrigley swore he could hear his stomach rumble alloud, he was after all...quite the heavy eater when he got the chance. He had been fishing in very tiny streams only ctaching small fish that were as thin as a stick, and tasted like nothing. Chasing rabits wasn't his deal mainly because...to be honest, he liked rabbits, they were fuzzy like him, and they didn't bother anyone at all. They were fun to chase, but not to harm. Now deer....oooo...that sounded good. He cleared his head though, fish he liked perhaps with a tie with deer and regular meat...but fish had something more the others didn't.

"Perhaps sometime I will swim...but onyl if there is a need for it...or if my fur make me begin to melt away," he said with a smile, half smirking, tail curling behind him. As they walked on he walked paw in paw with her, not missing a step although he almost fumbled and fell over at one point. "How far is it Cassidy? And...does it have good fish?" he had to ask, he was hungry after all. He couldn't help it.

He also thought fo the name Amelie, another wolf in Cassidy's pack no doubt. He wondered what Amelie's relations were with Cassidy, and who else was in the pack.Wrigley was the curious one.

"We're practically up to our ears with fish. If you want fish, you've got fish. I think even the pups manage to get fish around here. That's one thing that's never been hard for us here- food and water. Always seems to be plenty of both, so long as you like fish. We've got quite a few herds as well, but they tend to move about a bit, and we share them with the mountain area, and the other part of the peninsula. Hare too, that sort of thing." She mused, and trotted forwards.

"Sometimes you don't even need to swim to catch them," She noted. "They sort of swim upstream like lorries now and then. They're not too much in season now, but sometimes you can still catch one jumping into the air. When they're breeding though, it's like fish crazy."

Brown orbs watched Cassidy as she spoke adn they pressed on, her voice was quite lovely, Wrigley didn't think he would ever get tired of hearing it...not at all. The note about being lots of fish made him happy, perhaps he could grab one sometime soon, his stomach he believed was going to gurgle at anytime now.

"Fish are good...I like fish." Short statement but he could't help it, he liked hearing Cassidy speak over him, truth be told. The stament of breeding fish and the craziness created with them made him smirk a bit, he go catch one in the air, and hopefully not fall into the water...but if it made Cassidy laugh, it would be well worth it.

"What else is around here Cassidy...and are the others nice?" he asked, about teh pack and those other than her uncle, though Wrigley ahd yet to meet him for sure to know what he was like.

He tilted his head with the question posed to him...what would he like to do? Confusing, he only had one purpose with pulling the sled before...getting to the destination.

"Perhaps...something with protection maybe? Defense and offense maybe? Not quite sure..." he said with a smile, tail flicking back adn forth now and then as they pressed onwards.

Yet his eyes traveled in every direction, everything was so new...so...alive. t was never like this up north, it was always snow...except for the few scarce times you could see the ground. It was a nice change however, yet Wrigley wished to know a good way to cool off without the risk of drowning in the lake.

"Are they all friendly ya?" he asked, a little quieter now, he didn't wish to judge others by only on words, but he was curious, if he would fit in and everything.

Cassidy swayed her tail, her eye fluttering upwards towards Wrigley's moving form. He certainly looked like the kind of wolf who could have use in that kind of profession. Phib would have to be happy about that. "Do you...like protecting things?" She questioned, and followed beisde him.

"Friendly..." She remarked, and tilted her head to the side. "Well, I guess they are. Mostly. We have some strange faces though. My uncle can be a bit of a grouch. They're all good people though."

Wrigley kept a steady pace next to Cassidy, though it was quite odd that he thought Cassidy would be leading them both, but they were step in step, leading eachother along the way. He liked that...

He smiled softly at her question and his brown eyes met hers, "If teh time comes for it...and something or someone else...tries to threaten anything I'm a part of...or care for..." he said trailing off for a moment, just watching her, "then yes, I would. I wouldn't let anything get past me..."

He was glad Cassidy said others were friendly, he'dlike to be openly accepted, make new friends, like Cassidy, well, not exactly like Cassidy...there was something more in her, that was hard to explain, but he felt it, so he knew it was there...whatever IT was.

"I'm glad they're nice," he stated simply with a wag of his tail and a smile on his maw, "Do you think your uncle would like me being around here?" he asked almost silently, Wrigley hoped to make a good impression on everyone, but especially her uncle.

"Yea, he will." Cassidy spoke, suddenly coming to the stop. "He's always after having some stronger wolves around. But-- I mean, I don't want you to go thinking I'm tryin to force you or anything." She frowned. Hadnt they been over this? But, now she felt a bit unsure. "I can be pushy, I've been told--"

She was about to say something else, when out of the corner of her eye something swayed from the brush. Stepping forth from it, a long and lean brown wolf suddenly appeared in front of them both. He forze in concern, particularly when he saw the big hulk of a wolf beside his cousin.

"Cassidy--" He stammared.

"It's alright." She spoke, and moved herself a bit closer to Wrigley. She was still angry at that addle brained male. "My cousin, Gareth." She introduced. "He's Phib's kid."

Gareth shrunk, and sheepishly grinned.
