MadameLaFantome The part that makes me cry uncontrollably is when Christine hands back the ring to Erik. Just the look on his face makes we want to bawl. Poor Erik. crying OMG I know. He gets this look when she comes back, thinking she's going to stay. And then she hands him the ring and it all sinks in. Poor baby.

prodigychild412 1. The end is the saddest 2. Randomly start sing the Phantom of the opera really loud in drama class xd Oooo, I've started to sing Phantom of the Opera songs during drama class! My friends join with me though....

Yeah I cry at those parts too I also cry at certain parts in the book like when Erik is talking to Christine and asking her to love him even though he knows she doesn't and probably won't. crying It's so sad. If I find exactly what he says I'll post it.

You know what made me cry? I haven't watch Phantom in, oh, six months give or take a week, and I watched it on the way back from camp. Well, all the girls started asking the ever so popular, "Why Christine no go wit' Phantom?"
...I ended up defending Raoul and giving reasons why Christine shouldn't be with Erik. Part of my soul died that day. AND ZOMG!! First post in forever.

I used to cry at that part until I read PoTO in fifteen minutes and now I giggle thinking of how Raoul had to forceably drag Christine awayin that scene.

the part that makes me cry the hardest is at the very end of PONR when he's singing "anywhere you go let me go too... christine that's all i ask of--" because you know she wants to, but she wants raoul more...
@red death: could you post a link to POTO in 15 minutes?

It is 10 times worse on stage, believe me. He's right there sobbing on the floor and you just want to leap onto the stage and hug him. That's how it was for me when I saw it at the Fox... GAH! Poor Phantom! Christine hands him back the ring, and he sings "Christine, I love you..." then she runs away and he half-chases after her crying out "I LOVE YOU!!!" Then he just stands there and breaks down and sobs into the veil he had for her. I seriously wanted to scream out "I LOVE YOU TOO!!!"

That makes me wonder what his response would be if someone in the audience screamed that out. He'd probably have to turn away and face upstage to hide his laughing.

I found meh twin!!!! xd Haha., xD It includes variations of the novel, three copies of Playbill from different productions, an autographed picture of Michael Crawford, a porcelain mask, souviniers a friend brought me from the Paris Opera house, etc etc etc.... <3

I cry at several scenes:
- All I Ask Of You's reprise.
- When Erik sings the chorus of AIAOY to Christine directly after PoNR.
- When Christine kisses Erik.
- From when Erik sings "Masquerade" at the end with the music box to "It's over now, the music of the night!" Those lines really get me... "Christine, I love you," "You alone can make my song take flight.." My God, it's so heartbreaking.
- In the movie, at the end when Raoul sees the rose with the black ribbon and the ring from Erik. And all the roses on that thing. The thought of Erik coming back to give her all those things... it's just so sweet. Especially with the melody of "Learn to be Lonely" playing in the background.. It's a real tearjerker.
And, well, I started singing the PoTO theme song with my friend when we were leaving Chemistry class once. And in the same class, that same friend brought his mp3 player on which he had PoTO songs and the video with Sarah Brightman and Antonio Banderas singing the theme song and I sat there in class during free time, watching it and singing along. XD
My brother has also discovered the perfect way to wake me up on mornings when I won't wake up: play the movie in my room, especially the Overture, really loud. I swear, this morning for the second time, once I heard the first note of the Overture, my eyes flew open.
