General Tso TokyoNights What is the Grand Wish Tournament? It was something about a year and a half ago that was a really big event among the Best RPers on Gaia at that time. For instance, Sey, the original creator of World of Gaia was there, as were most of WoGs Biggest players. I beleive anyone was allowed in, as long as you had a team, and signed up in time. I think the only team that survived the first round without having people die was mine, and Seys. (We managed to get a couple badly hurt though.) That was my first big RP event. After that all those other Rps were kind of a letdown. sweatdrop So I stopped until just recently. Sorry, If I make a big deal about it... it was just so.. cool... AWGH gonk !!! I wish I was around for it crying !!! It would have been so cool!!!

Fayena TokyoNights Fayena You should put a nice list of places to RP. Different styles included. Give literate AND semi-literate RP threads and guilds. ^^ (*Cough* Our Sanctuary *Cough* Sorry, but it's still promotion razz ) Could you give me the link to that? I'd like to see it whee Of course! I'm about to start recruitment so we'd love to see some XTI'ers as members ^^ (Familiar faces? Master 0f Puppets and Kon are both members already. Muppy is crew razz ) Our SanctuaryWe are a literate RP guild and because of this I will watch to see that anyone who RPs there is literate ^^ If not, they would be warned and if they don't change, banned. I'd rather have a few members of quality then many of lesser quality. biggrin Oh, could I join your guild!? I just skimmed through it right now and it looks like fun blaugh

The following is greatly over exaggerated
I've just realized what I hate the most in a lot of RPs stare . People who don't make up their own character gonk , and people who make their character to damn powerful gonk . It's much more original! This is strictly speaking of RPs that don't involve a series or show or anything like that. For example, someone in an Inu-Yasha RP would have the right to be Inu-Yasha. But, I mean common gonk . Who plays as Inu-Yasha in a Resident Evil RP!? Plus, a lot of the time people don't even act as the character they're playing as gonk .
Example:
JohnDoe666: "Sanu-Yasha walked downz teh beaty saloon and den h3 took teh marshmellow and ate it".
Note: For the love of God!? Sanu-Yasha wouldn't go anywhere near a salon, unless inu-ka was there!!! He doesn't eat marshmallows, he eats cookies!!!
That's why I like Old Sanctuary, everyone's character profiles are unique and perfectly from the person's imagination, not based off of some character from an anime or video game crying , not that I'm telling you not to, it just irks the hell out of me!
I hate people who make their character to damn strong!!! I despise them so much crying .
Example Profile (I'm just going to use the format from Fayena's guild):
Name: JohnDoe666
Age: infinite and beyond
Race: Angel Hybrid
Height: 10'
Personality: Extremely hostile in every way.
Bio: Ever since he beat God in a fist fight, he came down to earth and beat everyone up down there to. Then he went to hell and gave Satan an a**-whooping that he'd never forget. After he did that, he went to Egypt and beat down all the gods there to. Then he went under water and found Atalantis and he beat Poseidon and broke his trident in half, then he absorbed the powers of all the Gods together and can do anything he wants.
Weapons: Sculepalios, and ancient rune blade that is the length of a McDonald's and glows colors that mix around like a rainbow and can cut through any metal, and can fry anything it touches.
Appearance: Rippling muscles pulsate throughout his entire body. Angel wings of the size of a McDonald's. One eye is red and the other is blue. Hands the size of melons. Tattoos of ancient runes are scribed over his entire body. His hair grows down to his waist.
Magical Abilities: Can use any element he wants. He can also manipulate the weather and can use shadows to choke his enemies and can use his psychic powers to throw things at people.

Tokyo, sure ^^ Just wait up and I'll send the invite.
As for the RPers list...
I think the problem here is that XTI isn't really a roleplay guild. Example, if you look at my posts here all RP is done in the asterik form. But that is because this is a discussion guild, not an RP one. (And I'm not involved with the military blaugh ) But if you were to go to any of my RP guilds and check out an RP topic thread, then you would notice me using the paragraph style.
I'm guessing it is the same with most people here. razz
