i didnt expect miaka's voice to be like that .and some parts were diffrent i think .

I think they change a few things from mangas when they make them an anime. It differs from every series, though.

I really didn't like Eikoden. The 3-D graphics really took away from the art. I think it was very different, though, because Yu Watase didn't even write it. Oh well.
I heard that the Gaidens are going to be animated. Did anyone else hear this? If it's true, I can't wait for Genrouden!
But back onto Yui (Sorry, I must put my two cents in) - I actually had a talk with someone at a convention, Ohayocon 2004, and she was dressed as Yui, actually, and the way she seemed to explain Yui really cleared things up. My friend said that some people have common sense, and some people are book smart.
Obviously, Yui is book smart, so of course she doesn't have much common sense, letting her trust Nakago, a stranger in a strange world, and letting him tell her that Miaka didn't care.
Of course, she did know, later on, that she was making a mistake, as she told Tamahome, "I can't turn back now", meaning that she knew what she was doing, but thought she had already betrayed Miaka. (Again, showing that she has no common sense)
Don't get me wrong, Yui is one of my least favorite characters. It think she is weak and too easily manipulated. This is just a different way of looking at it.

I kind of figured she wanted to turn back, somewhere deep in her heart, but she couldn't make herself. She is weak, as you said. But she's also jealous. She loved Tamahome, but Tamahome didn't love her. On top of jealousy, she's sad and lonely. She doesn't really have anyone she can talk to where she is. In my opinion, she's gullible, too. She fell for Nakago's trap easily. But I don't like Yui, either. She betrayed her best friend, and she won't let herself go back to how things were before. I mean, sure, thing'll never be the same as they were before, but she could pretend. In the last book that came out, I forget the number, she did a rather good act about how she wanted to be Miaka's friend again. Also, she won't forgive Miaka for not being there when she needed her, when it wasn't really Miaka's fault. So, list of things I think Yui is: Deluded, jealous, lonely, gullible, weak, tricky, and sad. There are probably things that I'm forgetting, but it's been a while since I've read most of the books.

NightIntent Kira Inuko I don't like any of the Seriyu seven. Yeah, me either. Well, I liked the two twins. I can't remember their names.... But I liked them. Amiboshi and Suboshi or something, wasn't it? yeah thats their names but i just have one thing to say about amiboshi that was the Kinkyest wat to cure a feaver

Hi ^^;; Yui! I love this topic a lot.. first off, Nakago didn't only manipulate her! He brainwashed her! Remember? Ever single day, she was in shock, and she'd ask "Why didn't you come, Miaka?" while in bed, and then Nakago said "That girl betrayed you".. he played tricks on her mind... the repetitive thought stuck.. she wanted to believe in Miaka more.. and also, there was a two month span in which Nakago was manipulating and brainwashing Yui-chan! Can't forget that! Lastly, Yui is a stubborn person.. I kow what it's like, cuz I'm stubborn myself.. she doesn't want to admit what she's doing is wrong.. She just said "No, there's no turning back, this is what I decided to do." ... in conclusion, dun blame Yui-chan, blame Nakago cuz he's a jerk.. and I rant a lot ^^;;
