((Decided to change my character a bit since the inclusion of passive magic))

Name: Erig Van Pyroshk

Hair: Brown with streaks of silver
Eyes: Aqua Green
Height: 6'
Other physical features: A garrish red burn mark on the left side of his face, starting at his nose and widening as it goes back towards his ear. His hands bear the marks of long years working with flammable material, small burns scars etched all over them.
Wearing: Erig wears effective clothing that could still be described as elegant. A black leather coat that descends to his ankles is embroidered with silver and red trim. He wears a thick leather vest beneath his coat of matching color, the buttons on both made of shining black obsidian and a white linen shirt beneath that. He has a belt with a series of holding clasps on them. His pants too are black with more red than silver trim down along them. He wears sturdy black boots that are polished to reflection, coming halfway to the knee.
Carrying: Erig carries on his person an array of fireworks, most the size and the length of his pinky, in total he has 22 fireworks on his person at most times, many for the use of everyday magic. He also carries a pair of thick black protective gloves for working with his materials along with protective goggles. To light his magical fireworks he carries a gold gilded lighter.
Magic (If applicable): A master of the chemistry used in creating fireworks, Erig uses magic imbued fireworks for working his spells. He can summon fire based creatures like salamanders and pheonixes through his fireworks, though the more powerful the creature the larger the firework. His skills also include the basic fire caster spells, only they all come from his fireworks.
Active or Passive: Passive
Demeanor: A firework is a rather good way to describe Erig. He's just waiting to explode and just about anything could do it. But he keeps his volatile anger bottled away because of his low rank. Instead he tries to remain calm around other mages, especially those who outrank him. He refuses to be pushed around when he can object but suffers in silence when he can't.
History (Yes, this is mandatory. You’re free to read everyone’s history. Just remember to limit actions to what your character knows, not what you know): Born into a low class family and apprenticed to a Master fireworks smith(I don't know what you call a guy who makes fireworks so please pardon that) Erig worked hard to make a living creating the chemical displays of light and sound. Eventually as he neared the age when he would no longer be an apprentice he became aware of his magical talent, as did the Council. He was immediately recruited and trained in the ways of using his magic, preffering to express his magic through his years of training in making fireworks. The burn scar on his face is from one of his first attempts with a powerful summoning he had been constucting. Luckily he had only suffered the smallest of injuries instead of losing his life. He attained a high enough rank to actually become a member of the Council instead of one of its lackeys and now almost wishes he hadn't. He had hopes of changing the miserable conditions that much of the city suffers but soon became aware of how things really work. He despises Active Mages and how they look down upon Passive Mages.

Job within group (ex: council’s masses representative, AU’s recruiter, shopkeeper in lower city, etc): Because of his background he does perform the duty of Representative to the Masses of Athalius but because of his bad temper few people actually bother to come to him despite the fact that he does want to help them.

Hrmmm...I'm still waiting for Truewind to post his bio, for one thing. He's one we definitely need.

Plus, I'm going to post something in Barton with a link here fo more people. I'm reluctant to start without those people because then we'll lack infrastructure that's needed to get this running well.
