Of course I don't only like J-pop~~ I like J-rock, too.. I like the occasional K-pop ninja .. and also I like some American music.. like Mariah Carey and Kelly Clarkson.. I mean.. I don't really listen to American music all that much anymore.. I usually just have my solitude of J-pop and J-rock but I do like other music other than just J-pop.. 3nodding

Hmm... I'd have to say that my tastes really vary and depend very much so on the language. For example, I think grunge in Spanish just sounds silly. xd Anyway my favorite band of all time from 'my generation' is The Smashing Pumpkins. Billy Corgan has an amazing voice and the band has some awesome compositions and lyrics!! I like to listen to just about everything, though, with the exception of country and modern-day rap. I have a HUGE soft spot for acapella renditions of any song, though. Our college's male acapella group, The Obertones, are AMAZING. I heart them muchly!! 3nodding
I'd care to say my favorite artists include (in no particular order): The Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage, Tori Amos, BeBe, Shakira (SPANISH ONLY), Sarah McLachlan, Alanis Morissette, Boy Sets Fire, Boy Kicks Girl, Mecano, Mana (Mexican band), The Foo Fighters, The Beatles, Fiona Apple, Lauryn Hill, Static-X, System of a Down, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Radiohead, Poe, NiN, The Killers, The White Stripes, and SO many others! I have an insane amount of MP3s and MANY complete CDs so please feel free to contact me and we can share the MP3 wealth. wink

I have a wide variety of music and I try to keep an open mind about different musical genres. Of course, I have my particular interests and I also dislike some, but I don't really put down the people that do like what I don't (if that makes sense o_O). So no, not only Jpop/Japanese related music. I love Jazz, classical, the occasional classic rock, some R&B, some techno, very little American pop, Vietnamese music (it's good to get in touch with ones roots, ne?) Swing/Big Band, some rock...whatever else that is ear pleasing XD
It pretty much just depends on what mood I'm in XD

I listen to korean and chinese too, but mainly it's Jpop I listen to the most.

I like J-Rock more...
But I listen to american, bristish, german music, it's cool ^_^
I recomend Zeromancer, they're british.

I by no means listen to only J-Pop, as a matter of fact I haven't been listening to much of it recently >.>
I listen to several different types of music, JRock, American Rock, Rap, R&B, Pop, Jazz, Classical, Goth Rock, Death Rock, Darkwave, Techno, Industrial, Metal... Just to name a few whee

hmm. . i ususally listen to jrock. .. i do not like it though. .my sister always puts it on and it drives me crazy!!!! but i listen to chinese, japanese, korean, american. . . the only genres of songs i do not like is rock and country.. .thats all!!
