-Pg. 1176-1177Keiki The little earth-toned egg rolled as quick, though wobbly, through the HQ. It was desperately moved around, though quite often it bumped into things. At last the egg got pinned and it's form struggled before falling still. Capili Capili walked up to the little egg, nudging it loose. "Well at least I know that you didn't get the sleepy gene too." As soon as it was free it was back out to rolling. India An egg, not so similar in color, yet related to the first and not so intent on rolling about, lulled over onto its side. It seemed content with staying where it was, the blanket at its base keeping it slightly warm and stable. But as it sensed its unborn sibling and grown sibling nearby, it seemed to move a bit more. Keiki The egg stopped in its rolling, this time of its own will. Something...familiar. Something not older. Something that didn't have the same feeling as the ones he's known before. Another sibling! The tri-toned egg wobbled in its direction change but was soon on his way towards the other. Maybe a little too quickly. Capili Capili spotted her other new sibling. The one placed in her home's care moved quickly toward the other. She sighed hppily and let it move, keeping a paw between her sibling and the rolling menace. "No hurting your siblings now." India The unhatched could almost hear the voice. It was muffled and slurred, probably caused by the eggshell and whatever liquids it happened to be growing in, not to mention the underdeveloped ears of the Kitsu. But nevertheless, it was a warming sound. It tried to make a move towards the sound, finding it was able to wobble a little. For some strange reason, the presence of its energetic egg sibling seemed to charge it somewhat. Keiki The egg made a soft thump against the paw. it moved a little more until another, more hollow, thump was heard. The egg stopped abit, letting its other sibling do the moving. The egg felt surprisingly calm right now. Capili "It's good to know that my two little siblings can get along." Capili looked down at thier silliness realizing that this was how her father must've felt while watching her, Ngozi, and Karan. Nassor The said male finally made his appearance. "Have my babies been doing well?" Nassor plopped himself down next to his children, curling up around them. "Hey kids. It's Daddy." His voice was soft and full of love. Yes, his kids. The three that were before him were his. He sighed happily. This was how life should feel. India The air of family and calm had relaxed the Kitsu growing within the egg. It had stopped moving now, deciding that it could do all the moving it wanted once it found a way to escape this place. The shell around it was heavier and harder to shift than it may've seemed. Then there was a sudden warmth. It was even warmer than the blanket and its siblings. And it was just as familiar, if not more so, than his grown sister and unhatched sibling. Karan Karan wandered into the HQ, wondering breifly to himself who and what was in the place tonight. Upon spotting his sister and father he began towards them in his usual, easy going and slow fashion, noting the two eggu's rolling around and feeling an odd connection with them. Nassor Nassor nuzzled the two eggus. "You two are young now but that doesn't matter. I'll always be here for you. Just as I have for your siblings." He nuzzled his youngest children again. Capili "Oi Daddy. What about me?" Her monotone still remained throughout her life but it didn't matter, he eyes expressed enough. She stepped around her father and earned a nuzzle from him before she went back to the other side of the eggs and layed down too. "Trust him. He'll always be there." The two adults shared a smile before watching the two eggs more. Keiki The egg loved this feeling of warmth but didn't like being still. It wibbled and wobbled in it's place, bumping into his siblings a few times. This showed signs of restlessness. Ones almost similar to his sister's. Tara Tara wandered in, nosing yet another egg into the room. "It appears that we're having a family reunion. How is everyone?" she asked, settling next to everyone else with the egg, which continued to roll as if on it's own, which it was. India As if complaining at his other egg sibling's sudden restlessness, it moved, slowly but steadily, closer to the warmth of their father. It was then it sensed another presence of three others, one with a strong feeling like the third it had met, and began to wonder, its small, still growing brain working hard, if all of the others outside the shell would make it feel like this. No, it decided. These six were special. They felt familiar for a reason it would learn someday. Karan Karan sat near his mother, eyeing the others cautiously, especially his sister, who was liable to pounce at any given time. " I'm well mother. How about yourself? And what's this with the eggs.....Have you and Dad been busy again?" He gives her a teasingly suspicious look. Capili Capili leapt up at the arrival of her sibling and her mother. "Karan! Mother!" She rushed towards her brother, nuzzling him a bit before dragging him to the group. Just as quick she went to her other little sibling and helped it into the group. At last she rushed to her mother, nuzzling her alot. "They're gorgeous Mother. And one doesn't have the sleepy gene!" Nassor Nassor stood for a moment, nuzzling his son. "It's good to see you again my boy. Come, meet your new siblings." He walked away, nuzzling the rolling egg as it joined the pack. His children. His daughter passed him as he strolled towards his love. Getting closer he licked Tara cheek lovingly. "We did it. Look at them...our children Tara. Ours." If you looked you could tell, happy tears were in his eyes, close to falling. Keiki The egg rolled toward the two new ones. Another big one. It seemed...familiar...like the one that's always with him. Then another egg. Sibling! That was for sure. It rolled to it in meeting. Happy day! Karan Karan smiled softly, examining the eggs curiously. "So the both of you have been busy. If we keep this up we'll overcrowd the HQ with our family alone." Although he was being sarcastic, he couldn't be happier to be back home with his family where he belonged.

-Pg. 1256-1258India The little male was now fully developed. He could think straight now and one thing he knew was that he felt cramped. Failing around inside his egg shell prision, the male tried to escape, but the walls held strong. All the movement earned him was rolling. He suddenly felt himself rolling quicker than he ever had with no signs of stopping until suddenly he felt a great jolt. The egg had crashed against some hard object, causing lines to form along its surface. The egg was beginning to crack. Kayoubi Ki opens his eyes to see this new, brightly litted room. he notices that the world is way bigger than his little eggu shell. India India felt he would mew if he could. His head hurt now from running into the side of his egg. Squirming, he felt his paws just grace the inner egg shell. The male wanted to push his way out, maybe get away from the horrible spinning feeling that had overtaken him now. Hopefully the world outside his prison wouldn't be so small. Scratching with nothing but soft paws, he couldn't find the energy to break out. Kayoubi Ki walks up to the very tall Thalion and pokes him. he could feel things with his little orange paw. India Giving up on tearing away the shell with his paws, India curled around himself. What he believed to be his tails fought with the cramped space, eventually able to wiggle through and cover him. It was warm, at least. The male thought he could sense something around him, like before, but this was different. It wasn't as familiar as the last time. Shrugging it off, he burried his muzzle into the wet fur of his tails. Kayoubi Ki looks at the Cracking eggu before him. India Sensing the presence once again, India lifted his nose from his tails. As if trying to tell whatever the presence was that he knew it was there, he pushed at the side of the egg. This caused the egg to roll towards Ki a little, but the uneven surface made by the cracks didn't allow it to move far. Kayoubi Ki, noticing how the eggu was cracked, used his paw to lightly stroke the egg. and making it stand back up properly. "there" he said quietly. he had learned to talk! he was so happy. India Feeling the sudden upright movement of his egg, India shifted to accomodate the change, finding himself basically sitting in a bunch at the base of the egg. A tiny bit of light shown through the cracks and he could feel it on his eyelids. Hearing the voice, he found it much different than the one he'd heard before. It made him want to find out who or what it was. Shifting forward towards the sorce of the voice, he felt the egg begin to tip again. Kayoubi "whoa there little eggu" Ki said holding the eggu in his tiny little paws. he smiled at the eggu that looked like the one he came out of. Kit took the blanket and held the little egg in it in his arms. India India pushed forward again against the sudden sturdiness. In doing so, he felt the egg shell moving, but didn't stop. Suddenly, she weakened walls fell away, revealing a kit. Opening his eyes for the first time, he took a deep breath and looked up at the older kit with a squeaky mew. Kayoubi "AIEEE!!! I BROKE IT!!!!" Ki yelled as he ran around in circles with india in his hands. India India suddenly found himself feeling funny, like he had after his egg had rolled wildly. Blinking, he mewed a few times, trying to get the other to stop, before he was able to find his voice. "Slow... down..." Kayoubi Ki stopped running. "i didn't break it? YAY! i didn't break the eggu!!! awww.... your voice is so soft and sweet!!! thats so cute!" Ki said Snuggling India.

-Pg. 1261-1263India India sat, placidly watching his surroundings. He'd lost the one he'd first met. He didn't even know the other's name yet. Shaking his head, his thoughts drifted to his own name. He knew it was his, but... How? Nevertheless, he hated it. India was a female's name. Looking grumpy, he slouched, chin resting against the floor. Lien Padding inside softly, all three of the blue kitsu's tails twitched. Long ears perking, Lien scanned the area. Her eyes fell upon India, simply... Laying there. Going over, she tried to peek at him. Was he sad? Was he ill..? Her curiousity had been peaqued by his mere pressence. Keiki Keiki grinned as she slinked around. The little kit was true to her name. Keiki, meaning 'child'. Her little paws moved fast, then stopped, imitating the sneaking procedures of the Television. Which could captivate her for long periods of time whilst her sister and father controlled Kosuit. She wasn't quite sure if Kosuit was older than her but she acted younger so she didn't matter. Kosuit was a constant playmate. Beady eyes spotted her prey. A quite familiar feeling came from that kit, she decided she would find out. "Yaaaaaaaahh!!!" Was her battle cry as she rushed towards the kit. India India seemed to sense Lien's presence, even as she quietly wandered near him. He was quite good at that. Allowing one eyelid to lazily rise, he caught sight of the female. As he was about to get up, deciding he could have a new playmate, something... familiar met his senses. Looking around, he noticed, not to mention heard, Keiki rushing towards them. The kit's eyes widened. Who was this crazy girl? Jumping up quickly he steadied himself near the blue femme, wondering what the other coming near them would do. Lien Liquid eyes blinked, then grew wide, as the new kitsu came charging up. With a slight squeek, she scurried sideways as fast as her new limbs would allow her, anything to avoid getting knocked over. Lien's long ears pinned back slightly, sliding on the floor. Oops, too fast...! Keiki Keiki was close to leaping at her brother and the other blue female. Though, just as her sister before her, she tripped on her own feet right in front of the two. "Owwie...." She turned onto her back and looked up. "Brother!" It was as if she had never fallen, as she rose up and nuzzled him, completely ignoring the other female. India It seemed he was unable to escape. As Lien went sliding across the floor, India had thought it best to stay put. Maybe the crazy one would miss them and run past. Not the case. "'Brother?'" He called in question as she nuzzled him. Just who was this female? Looking to the blue femme he had met just before, his eyes were pleading. Sure, he somehow felt connected to this other, but she startled him just a bit with her forward behavior. He hadn't met enough others to be ready for that. Lien Sliding to a stop, Lien blinked, then looked back. The charging one had stopped, too, and now.. She was even more curious. Getting up, she padded over. Who was this new Kit? And what was a... Brother? Keiki Keiki blinked at how her brother didn't seem to understand. She pulled back and looked at him. He really was confused. There were tears starting to build up in her eyes. "You. Are. My. Brother. I. Am. Your. Sister. We. Are. Related. Have. The. Same. Parents." Her mind remembered how similar this was to when Capili told her. She pouted. How was she supposed to have sibling love if her siblings didn't remember her? The little kit's pout was joined by frustration eyebrows. How bad was this! She saw the other kit approach and blew a raspberry at it before turning back to her brother. Nassor Nassor watched from afar, smiling at his second daughter's first encounted with her siblings. Capili stood beside him, also near ready to intervine. They were so happy with the new additions. Explaining family was the best thing yet. He wasn't sure if he was sarcastic about this or not. "If he doesn't get it within five minutes we're going over there. I won't allow my family to break apart." He felt his first daughter nod an affirmative. India A nervous smile graced the male's maw as he witnessed his sister's display towards Lien. He suddenly felt as if he were going to be dragged into the middle of something. Trying to sooth Keiki, as well as the fact that he now realized what she was speaking off, he spoke softly. "I do remember now. We met while I was still trapped, I think. So... brothers and sisters have the same parents?" For a second, he looked over to the blue female, wondering if she understood. While he was beginning to, he was still a bit lost. Parents were...? Was that the one that had protected him while he was trapped? The two... different familiar feelings? Lien Lien pouted a bit at the raspberry, then... Ignored it. She didn't get what it meant, only that it came off as rather RUDE. Her ears twitched as the others spoke, wondering what they were doing. When she opened her mouth to speak as well, only a yawn came out. Maybe she was tired. Another yawn escaped, this one larger. Yup, she was tired. Finding a nice spot, she curled up and started to sleep. Capili "That's our cue Father." The flame-wielder stpped out of the shadows, her much darker father right behind her. her steps were slow but they showed how reckless she was as a child. Just like this new girl of the family. There was a calm smile on her face. Siblings. She missed the ones of her own age. Nassor Nassor nodded, following. His son wasn't born with the instinct of family as the first brood but that didn't matter. He would teach them all that they needed to know. As he had done before. "Keiki, don't be so mean to your brother and his friend." He kneeled down, nuzzling his son. "Hello son. I'm your father." He turned to his lighter child, "And this one, is your sister Capili." His first daughter kneeled down and nuzzled him too. Keiki "See? Parent. Sister." Keiki scrambled to between the two adults and nuzzled them dearly, mumbling who was parent/father and who was sister. She grinned at the two and approached India. "And you are my brother, India." India The sudden appearance of so many like himself was not unwelcomed, rather it was unexpected. Perhaps, as Nassor believed, he wasn't one born with much connection to his family. Not that he didn't feel connected. No, his mind wasn't sure how to explain it. Taking each nuzzle in stride, the little kit, youngest of his family, was glad that his father and older-elder sister didn't seem as rushed to make with the bonding as his younger-elder sister was. He'd all but settled down into the warmth of the air, that is, until he heard Keiki say his name. A pout settled across his maw. He hated that name! Such a female's name... "Don't call me that..." he said in a whisper. Keiki Keiki heard her sister giggle. Was she making fun of her brother? She hmphed. Even though it was said that making fun of each other was a sibling's duty, that was mean. "Why're you makin' fun o' it! I think it's an awesome name. At least his name doesn't mean 'Child'." She was honest. India sounded cool but if her brother didn't like it she wouldn't like it. She turned to him, her expression completely bare of anger. "Can I call you Di?" India India huffed at the laugh. Well, at least in this respect, Keiki seemed nicer. At least she offered a nickname. "I guess Di is fine..." he said placidly in answer to her question. Secretly, he was glad at least someone wouldn't be calling him India, though he didn't show it. Settling down, he stared around a bit, still trying to understand everything. Maybe he wasn't cut out for this family stuff, but he would try.

-Pg. 1284-1286Tarik Tarik yawned and lookeda round, sniffing a bit. He smelled something familiar. Was it his dad or mom again? Or maybe another family member? India Peeking up from his paws, India yawned. A familiar feeling, similar to his sisters and father, floated into the room. Glancing around, he noticed a kit with similar markings, but they were much more intricate and slightly different in color than his own. Rising to his feet, he padded over to meet the other. "Hi..." he said quietly. Tarik Tarik nodded to the other. "You look like me, but with less blue. Is our mother and father the same?" Tara Tara wandered over, settling herself next to her kits. She licked India's ear and smiled. "Yes, you're both our children. So that makes you brothers." India India was about to answer his sibling when he felt the lick from their mother. This was the first time he'd seen her since coming out of the egg. Twitching his ear, the kit's curiousity rose. He'd started to understand this whole family thing, but was still lost about one bit. "Does that mean everyone has different parents, unless their brothers or sisters?" Tara Tara thought about that, then nodded. "That sounds about right. If you have the same parents, then all their young are brothers and sisters. So all brothers and sisters have the same parents.... except in the case of those related by being with a human caretaker." Tarik Tarik flicked his tails, not entirely sure on that, but he did know he wanted to play. India Tilting his head, India still seemed confused. Ah well, he'd worry about it later. After all, the familiar feeling he got around his family at least showed he knew the connection. Peeking out of the corner of his eye at Tarik's tails, he blinked. Partially turning to his brother, he grinned, almost like a challenge. If the other wanted to play, he was game. Tarik Tarik grinned, swishing his tails some more as he wiggled his butt in the air in preparation of pouncing his brother. Tara Tara moved out of the way, not in the mood to be pounced. She'd rather watch and makes ure they didn't end up getting hurt. Boys would be boys... and she was a mother and would be herself. India India's own grin seemed to stretch into a smirk. It was obvious, if anything, that he wouldn't be one to let himself be pushed around. Not to mention he seemed quite playful. Deciding not to stay a sitting duck for his brother's pounce, he darted away, coming around as fast as his little legs could take him. He attempted to pounce Tarik from the side instead of getting pounced himself. Tarik Tarik laughed and rolled but ended up rolling them both into a bit of a wrestle. He used his back paws trying to get his brother some distance away so that he could be the one on top, but he had some practice yet it seemed. India India flopped a bit in an attempt to get away from the other and his back paws. He seemed successful at first, but found himself unable to both wrestle and move away at the same time. Letting out an almost whiney sound, he batted a playful paw at his brother, trying to keep his sibling off balance as his tails twitched wildly out behind him. The same smirk remained. The kit was still up to the challenge. Tarik Tarik grinned and stood a bit off to the side, wiggling his butt in the air. "Hm. You're pretty good." he said softly, his grin in place. "I'm glad I have a brother that likes to play." India "As are you and as am I," India answered. His words seemed a bit out of place for one who was still learning proper tongue. It was true, most anything else he said was far from coming out as experienced as that had. Tilting his head, he lowered his body into a ready position, thin kit frame perfect for the motion. With a little playful growl, he moved after his brother again. Tarik Tarik smirked and ran off towards the couch and the pile of cushions nearby. He was going to attempt to burrow into the pillows and hide, then possibly pounce his brother. India Not wanting to let the other get too far ahead, India took off following. Watching his brother with an amused look, he decided to play along. Looking away, he shut his eyes and allowed his smirk to drift away. Of course, he would peek out of one cautiously raised eyelid every once in a while. "You hidden yet?" He asked, his question sounding out of place, as if he suddenly wished to turn their game into hide-and-seek. Tarik "Sure!" Tarik called out, hiding under the big pile of cushions and pillows. India "Good." India opened his eyes fully, turning his head back to the couch his brother was hiding on. Of course, he would never admit to the little bit of cheating he had done. Grinning, he walked around in front of the couch for a moment. "Wow, I can't find you anywhere..." the male drawled, pacing still. Grin again shifting to a smirk, he stopped suddenly and jumped up, heading for the pillow pile. Tarik Tarik snickered then yelped in surprise as his brother nearly pounced right on top of him. Scrambling back, he struggled out of the pillow pile to attempt to pounce him back. India India seemed in control, but was surprised by the sudden and quick shift of the pile. Tripping over his own paws, he found himself falling face-first and vulnerable into the pillows. Squeaking, he sent his tails swishing, in hopes of fending off any attacks while he tried to regain his balance and pull himself from the soft trap. Tarik Tarik laughed and flopped into the pillows next to his brother. "Let's take a break. I'm already tired." He needed a bit of a rest after so much horsing around with his brother. India "Yeah alright." India's voice was muffled before he could free himself. Finally pulling his head out, he flopped down on the soft pillows, as well. Setting his head on his paws, it wasn't long before he had shifted his head and had his face burried in his own fur. That was how he liked to sleep... or just relax.

---Annoyance
-Pg.1357-1358
India India had a lot of time to think about things since his last visit with his family. In truth, however, he hadn't really been thinking of much at all. Lifting his head from his paws, he yawned, blinking and viewing his surroundings. A bored expression sat on his features.
Mortimer Resting near an old oak, Mortimer gazed blankly, eyes slightly slit. God..I've been searchin' fer eva and still 'avn't found my protecter he whinned. He sighed loudly and slumped his head in between his paws. His tails flicked annoyingly.
India Standing and stretching, India found that staying where he was wasn't exactly making him any less bored. Glancing around, he didn't see anyone inside. It was strange to see the place practically empty, at least from what he'd observed over the past couple of days. Padding off, he made his way outside. The first thing he noticed was the purple Kitsu off under an old tree. Tilting his head, he made his way over to the other. He wasn't sure if Mortimer knew he was there, since his head was down.
Mortimer His ears perked up, and he rose his head slowly. Looking around fer vat he sensed, Morty came to India. Furrowing his brow and cocking his head to ze side, Mortimer had nyo idea who this Kit was. He get to his feet immedeatly, ready to fight if need be. If this lil' punk wants to fight, then I can take 'im!" he thought, as a sliver of his teeth were beared.
India The sudden change from passive looking to fight ready confused India. He tilted his head, wondering just what this other male was thinking. It's not like he had come over with plans of waging all out war or something. Almost scoffing, the dark kit sucked in a breath. "What's up with you? I didn't even do anything." His tails swung out lazily behind him, as if he were trying to proove he hadn't intended to be hostile.
Mortimer Wrinkling up his nose, Mortimer frowned at ze smart-alek Kit. "how am I supposed to know? Theres people always trying to attack others." His Scottish accent sounded annoyed. He sniffed and turned his head up, curling his tails around his legs. "Punk..." He mumbled.
India "Punk?" India's eye twitched lightly. So much for trying to be friendly. "Seeing as you're the one who started with the attitude, you've got no right to call me a punk." Flipping his tails angily, he took a few steps to the other's side. "Seriously, what's your problem?" Shaking his head, he almost laughed, but didn't much feel like it now. What an interesting way to start the day.
Mortimer His ears folding back in anger, he gritted his teeth. "Nothing's wrong with meh you...you..." He stopped himself. Insted he just snickered. "Ah, your not worth it." He smiled casually. Stretching his body, some bones cracked and he yawned. He trotted to the new Kit. Grinning, he raised a brow at him. Squinting at India "Who might you be eh?"
India Raising a brow himself, India let an unamused expression settle itself on his features. So, he wasn't worth it, hm? And now this other was acting so casual, as if nothing had just happened to annoy the black furred kit beyond the slight annoyance he usually found himself feeling. With a narrowed gaze he whispered, "India..." rather quietly, hoping the other wouldn't hear and just let it drop. Raising his voice, he went on, "And you?"
Mortimer Still grinning, Mortimer replied "I'm Mortimer. I havn't seen you around 'ere before." He waved his tails, trying to be friendly. He knew zat Musica would become angry if he didn't befriend peepo's insted of critisizing and threatening them. He sighed, rather bored trying to become friends wit zis kit.
India "I've been around for a while..." There wasn't much India could think to say besides that. So far, in the few minutes he'd known the other, he'd already felt compelled to do somthing he would likely regret later. The obviousness of the other's bordom wasn't helping much, either. Unable to hold it anymore, the still slightly dormant attitude within the kit flared. "Why are you such a jerk?! I don't understand you!" With an exasperated sigh, he shook his head.
Mortimer Shrugging, Morty replied "I dunno, I'm just like that. I don't really care to be around others, except...." changing ze pace he said "Why are you such a smart alec eh?" He grinned, having fun seeing ze kit getting angry. He liked to see how others would react.
India Even as he was growing quite tired of this game, India refused to give in now. "Maybe I am because I like to be," he said in a huff. In truth, he wasn't exactly sure what a smart alec was. Trying to calm himself, but failing miserably, he looked for a way to shine the spotlight on Mortimer instead of himself. Going back to what the other was saying before, he tilted his head. "You don't like being around others, except...?" He wanted to know who the exception was.
Mortimer Chuckling under his breath, Morty responded "Oh, why do you care?" He held up his head. Opening one eye down at India. This Kit was more fun then he thought he would be. Twas fun to play wit zis one.
India "Mm..." India sat with a sigh. Did he care really? Shrugging mentally, he told himself it was just because he was curious. Whoever the exception to Morty's attitude was must've been pretty special, since the poke-kit seemed to quite enjoy making others angry. "I dunno. Just asking, so sue me." Flicking his all black tail around, he covered his paws.

-Pg. 1388-1392Keiki Keiki pouted a bit as she walked into Realm. Capili was a mother now and now she only had Kosuit as a playmate. Not that that was bad, it was just that Kosuit's energy burned out far to easily. Capili promised that they would start her training soon, once she's fully recovered. Capili had yet to break a promise. The young earth-toned kit sat, looking around. She wondered where her brothers were. Tarik Tarik perked his ears up at hearing one of his siblings enter the room. He was curled up tight in Tara's tails, she had been sleeping. Now it seemed he might actually have a reason to rise and shine. Well, rise anyways. India As usual, India was laying idly around, head down on his furry paws. The familiar feeling of his family floated into the room, though the kit could never understand how he could tell so easily. Lazily lifting his head, he set his chin on his paws and gazed out. Keiki and Tarik. Sighing, he lifted himself from the floor. He wasn't sure about his brother, but he knew there would be no escaping his sister. Keiki Keiki could help but laugh out loudly at her brothers. They were just like Pappa! Sleeping all the time! Soon she was on her back rolling back and forth. The sleepy gene attacks! How many times had she and Capili done this? Alot. Regaining her breath she launched herself over to Ind, taunting her other brother to get up. Tarik "You're always so full of energy. How do you do it?" Tarik asked his sister, going over to where she was tormenting their brother. He stretched on the way, his legs going out ahead of him and then back. A yawned inched it's way out before he could stop it, but he shook his head and cleared his eyes a bit. India India looked, it could be thought, the least bit amused by his sister's large amount of energy. It only served to remind him how he almost wished he could be sleeping at the moment. "I'd have to ask the same question, dear sister," he drawled, arching an eyebrow. His all black tail flicked around him as he took a seat, a habit he'd already developed. The other two swished idly out behind him. Keiki Keiki giggled, the answer was one she and Capili shared often. "Because I didn't get the sleepy gene from Pappa. 'Cording to Capi-nee-chan all the males have it." She winked. So far it had been true. Out of no where, Keiki pulled out a ball. A trick she had learned from Kosuit. "Ball plus siblings equals fun time." Tarik "Sleepy gene?" Tarik asked, blinking. "That doesn't make any sense, but I like the looks of that you just brought out. Ball huh?" India India, on the other hand, wasn't too sure about the unfamiliar round object. As if everything his sister had just said about the 'sleepy gene' went in one ear and out the other, he stared untrustingly at the toy. "What are you supposed to do with it?" He asked, black tail seeming to tighten its curl around his form. Keiki Keiki's jaw dropped. Her brothers were deprived. Very muchly. "You play with it. Like...toss it, bounce it, hit kitsus with it..." Soon she was off rambling with the many uses of the ball. Her mouth was running on and on and on. But he mind difted off to Capili. She wished she was here, that way she could show them how you use a ball. Tarik "I like the toss it to other kitsus idea. How about we do that?" Tarik asked, nosing the ball into the air and hitting it with his head so it flew up even higher. "Cool." India Tilting his head, India watched his brother playing with the ball. It seemed harmless enough, but he still wasn't sure. Huffing, he kept were he was, not wanted to rise and make his siblings think hed readily agreed to play with them. Not that he didn't want to play with them, really, but he wouldn't let them know that. Keiki Keiki blinked cutely realizing she got lost in thought. She watched Tarik already skillfully handle the ball. She pouted. Everytime. Huffing she readied herself for a jump. With a bit of a run, she jumped, successfully hitting the ball up high and over her. "Don't let the ball touch the ground!" That game was fun too. Of course, only she and Kosuit did that. Capili had too much of an advantage. Tarik Tarik smirked and watched, waiting for his own opportunity to keep the ball off the ground. "Good idea." he said, laughing some occasionally. He tried to get the other brother involved, hitting it over to him. Maybe it would force him, but fun was good for everyone. India Out of reflex, India told himself, he lowered his head to allow the ball to bounce off without hitting him in the face. It seemed to fly unsteadily towards Keiki. Huffing, he swung his black tail behind him and rose to a stand. It looked like he would have to be ready, so the ball wouldn't come at him when he wasn't ready. Keiki Keiki, being the most energenic and probably most experienced, decided to fancy. The cappucino-kit jump ran to it's destination, and twirled around hitting it back up into the air with her tails. Had Capili and Kosuit been playing, Nassor would be putting down style points. And the game would be decided by that. Family was good. Remus, Chroma, & Trinity Remus practically pranced into HQ, a definate strut to his stride rather unlike the often humble & meek Kitsu. Upon his back, Chroma chased his guardian, the poor little fellow muttering "nononono!" quite frantically. Perched with her paw & chest on his head, backlegs on Remus' shoulders, the perma-kit Trinity swished her tails happily; an action that occationally distracted the larger but much younger kit from guardian-chasing just long enough to let him pause for breath. Seeing the other kits playing, Remus smiled. Turning his head slowly so as not to displace the mini, he beamed at his baby sister. "Why not try to make friends, Chroma?"She stopped mid chase, sitting on her tails as they whipped about energetically. "Friends?"Tarik Tarik watched his sister, blinking at her finese. "I think I'm out classed...." he said, going back over to their mother and hiding under her tails. Tara Tara smiled. "Very nice Keiki, but I guess that sleepy gene has caught up to him again." India India blinked at his sister's stunt. Tarik sure was right about being outclased. He felt the same way. With their brother gone, the ball landed before the male even had a chance to ponder going after it. "So much for that round," he said with a chuckle. As he padded lazily to retrieve the ball, he noticed the three others enter. Flicking an ear towards their conversation, he grabed the ball in his mouth and headed over to drop it at his sister's paws. Keiki Keiki blew a raspberry at her sleep-enduced brother, and mumbled a thing about 'sleepy gene'. She turned her head and the other three new kitsus. She tottered closer to her other brother, taking the other end of the ball in her mouth. She blinked. What now? Remus, Chroma, & Trinity "Yes. Friends. Kits your own size to play with.""Play!"Chroma bounded from her brother's back with a squeel of glee. Remus' guardin gave a heavy sigh of relief & colapsed on his charge. Trinity giggled to herself & gracefully climbed down to follow Chroma. She already spoke more than Theron, but Remus suspected she was slow to speak for a kitsu. He did not remember ever not knowing how to speak. Ignorant of Remus' musings, Chroma bounded over to where the others had a ball. Bouncing in place with pent up energy, bright blue eyes that matched her markings glistened eagerly. "Play?" She asked hopefully. India From the looks of things, India's sister and this new kit were birds of a feather. Suddenly, he felt out of place with his, not so much lack of energy, but lack of the urge to use any he happened to have. Tilting his head, he looked from Keiki to Chroma. He knew his sister wasn't one to hold back her thoughts. She would speak where he wasn't sure what to say, he figured. Keiki Keiki let go of the ball and looked at the kit. She blinked and tooking a breath and smiled. "Hi I'm Keiki and this the sleep geneed brother of mine India. But you can't call him India because he hates his name so you should call him Ind or Di, like I do. And who is you. Wanna play? We were playing keep the ball off the ground. You do know what a ball is right? He was lame and didn't. Hi!" The small kit breathe out and grinned a toothy grin. Chroma Chroma's grin widened. "Chroma!" She said gaily, introducing herself -perhaps a bit late- as Remus taught her. "Chroma know ball! 'splain your ball play?" Although her words were still lacking, Chroma understood more than she could explain, such as knowing there wree different games to play with a ball. She was curious to know which one they wanted to play. India "Keiki!" While he had expected his sister to talk, he hadn't expected this much. She had just gone and spilled his name, the fact that he hated his name, and the fact that he was 'lame' and hadn't known what a ball was. Sighing, he flicked his tails idly, trying not to let the situation get the better of him, since the new kit seemed rather unaffected. Sitting, he waited for the ball game to start up again, wrapping his black tail around himself. Remus, Chroma, & Trinity Both Chroma & Remus looked at India after his sudden outburst. However when he did not do anything else exciting, Chroma forgot all about it. Trin was a little curious, but she was in slink & watch mode unless the full sized kits mentioned they wanted another player. The wizard however frowned slightly. Not angrily, just contemplative. Being one of the quiet ones, Remus often worried about other quiet ones. India seemed to be a quiet one. Keiki Keiki licked her brother and nuzzled him a bit. Oh how she loved how he understood her crazyness. "This ball...can't touch the ground." With that she tossed the ball up into the air. Giving it one more hit just for height's sake. Chroma With a squeel Chroma chased under the ball. "Chroma get! Chroma get!" As it lowered within her jumping range she sprung to head-butt it midair towards the other kitsu. The force jolted her slightly but she shook her head to clear it when she landed, smiling again & watching jauntily to see who would get it next. Remus Remus chuckled to himself. Not bad for a day old kit.India India let out a soft yawn, watching the ball fly. Instead out bouncing it up, like he was supposed to, he caught it in his mouth. Tossing it at his sister, he stretched. "I'm out," he said quietly, wandering away. Once he felt like he'd gone a safe distance, he settled down, nuzzling his face against his paws and wrapping his black tail around himself. Keiki Keiki caught the ball. Around the ball she pouted. Lame. She tossed the ball back up in the air, not letting the cursed sleepy gene rain on her awesome hyperactive parade. Chroma & Trinity Seeing the other kit drop out, Trinity decided that small or no she should play. With a running leap she scamperd up Chroma's back to jump off the kit's head to bat the ball higher in the air. Ready to jump herself, Chroma gave a slight pout. "Chroma ball, Trin-in.""I needed your height, Chroma dear" Trinity replied, slightly mocking. Not that Chroma noticed.

---Chase
-Pg. 1459-1463Tarik Tarik rounds a corner as he chases some forest creature that's made it's way into the HQ. India As per usual, India had his head down on his furry paws. He wasn't really sleeping, but he wasn't much awake. Of course, as soon as he felt himself really drifting, a familiar sense came to him. This seemed to be happening a lot. Sighing, he lifted his gaze to watch his brother come around the corner near where he was laying. Keiki Keiki lifted her head up as she heard a patter of feet. She blinked cyan eyes and yawned. With a stretch she bounced off the couch, shaking her fur back into place. She took in one big breath. Spotting the new arrival she rushed towards her brothers, a sneaky plan in mind. Tarik Tarik raced past his brother, intent on his quarry. He had somehow found a squirrel nesting in the pillow pile and fond it thrilling to chase around the HQ. He was determined to catch it, then he could take it outside and let it go. India "It'd probably be easier to catch if it didn't think you were gonna eat it," India lazily offered. Personally, he didn't believe his brother would do anything to harm the creature, but it didn't know that. Letting out another sigh, he rose and turned to watch the chase, wary of something, but not letting the thought bother him. Stretching out his back legs, he shook his head as if trying to wake himself. Keiki It was now her chance! With a final grunt she pushed herself off the ground, aiming herself at her less active brother. "Rawr!" Tarik "But how can I tell it that I'm not going to hurt it? It wouldn't understand, we talk differently! It just makes chattering noises." Tarik replied, putting on a burst of speed to try and catch the squirrel. He could hear his sister pouncing their brother, sounded like he'd be busy for a while. India "I suppose that's true, but-" Before he was able to finish, he was pushed down by his sister. His form hit the ground more or less painlessly, but he let out a grunt of annoyance, his all black tail twitching. "Nice to see you, Kitten," he drawled sarcastically. Tarik Tarik blinked at his sister on top of his brother, yet again. When he looked back, he lost track of the squirrel, it had escaped him. Well, there weren't any open doors so he could find it agian. For the time being, he'd watch his siblings play. Keiki Keiki growled playfully taking advantage of this situation. She grabbed onto her brother's ear, tugging at it. Just like when they were smaller. India A few grumbles left his lips. "Tasty?" He asked, his voice holding the same sarcasm as before. Using as much strength he could muster in his still-tired state, he attempted to shaking his sister from his back. Keiki Keiki giggled and let go of her brother. She then nuzzled her brother affectionately. "I still love you Di-nii-kun!" India An almost smile seemed to grace India's lips. And as much as he may've tried to stop it, it ended up developing into a smile. A small one, but still a smile. "I suppose I'm glad to hear that," he returned jokingly, rolling onto his back away from the nuzzles and batting a lazy paw at his sister. Keiki Keiki grinned and plopped ontop of her brother, pretending to be just as he called her. She nuzzled him and 'purr'ed. A few giggles escaped her as she did so. India "Now, now, Kitten," he snickered, playing along. "It's hot enough in this black fur, already." Wiggling as if he were scratching his back on the ground, he laughed. "Get off, you're heavy!" Another playful paw came up to bat at her muzzle. Keiki "Make meeee...." She rolled onto her back. She played the game with Damis and Kosuit often. They were fun until Damis would start to bite. India India raised a brow. "Well, what if I don't feel like it?" He asked idly, shutting his eyes and allowing his tails to sway lightly as if he were relaxed. Maybe if he played nonchalant, she would loose interest in the game. It was almost too hard for him to hide the smirk that wanted to settle on his maw. Keiki In her mind, Keiki smirked. She stayed still for a long moment. With practiced ease, she made it sound like she was indeed sleeping. Ha! This was her game. She was good at games. India After a while, an amber eye could be seen peeking from under a dark lid. Well, this wasn't working... Now what? Huffing, he felt his breath hitch from letting out such air while still under his sister's weight. Coughing lightly, he wondered if he could use this to his advantage, making it seem like she was suffocating him. He exaggerated the cough a bit. Keiki Keiki's ear twitched at her brother's cough. She wasn't that heavy! Her brother could definately breathe with her on him! Looser...she wouldn't loose! India So, she was as stubborn as he. Grumbling, he decided not to give up, at least not until they came to some sort of tie agreement or something like that. He wouldn't let his kitty sister beat him! "Come on, aren't you bored yet?" He sighed out, still trying to somehow convinse her to get off. Keiki Keiki turned her head towards him, her bangs haning oddly from her head. "I'm with Di-nii-kun. It's hard not to be bored and entertained at the same time." Yes, it was a skill to be bored and entertained at the same time. India "How's that?" Now he was boring and entertaining at the same time? Just how did that work? Sighing, he twitched his all black tail and, in habit, tried to wrap it around himself. It seemed like he was fighting a losing battle now. His sister was just... too much. "Geez, Kitten. You're crazy," he said with a laugh. Keiki "I am not! I'm not talking back to myself when I talk to myself, so I'm not!" That one she so stole off of Capili. Their father would usually roll his eyes and go back to sleep at this point. She wasn't crazy really. She just had skills. India India scoffed. It seemed this had at least some effect on her, but whether it was just an act or not, he wasn't sure. "Whatever you say, but just because you don't talk back doesn't mean you don't think of responces anyway." Closing his eyes again, he allowed a placid, bored expression to grace his features. Keiki "True" She sighed. Keiki did talk to herself quite alot. Her family was quite insane you know. She flopped off him and settled in laying on her stomach next to him. "Ne...Di-nii-kun...have you met anyone else yet?" India Taking in a deep breath, India sighed. "Yeah. One I met when I escaped from my egg... I never learned his name, though. I've also met Mortimer... Pleasant guy, that one," he finished sarcastically. Directing his gaze at his sister, he wondered why she'd asked. For some reason, he felt something was wrong. He mentally scolded himself for being worried. It was probably nothing. "Why?" Keiki Keiki pouted, her lower lip poking out farther than her upper. "Keik's only met the ones who played ball with..." That was actually a bit depressing. She wanted to know more people! India "No need to get upset, you will." Of course, there was no way India could know such a thing, but that didn't matter. Maybe it was the caring brother syndrome kicking in, but, even if it was only deep down and he wouldn't show it, he did care about her. "Now knock it off, Kitten. No pouting." Batting at her, he rose and stretched. Keiki Keiki giggled and happily latched herself onto her brother. "Keiks loves Di-nii-kun!" Her smile had returned full force and her energy had returned. India India laughed as he struggled with her clinging. "Alright, alright, I know. Not so much affection!" Twitching his tails, he tried to move away. If nothing else, he could use the furry appendanges as weapons... Keiki Keiki laughed and pulled away. Out of no where, once again, she pulled out yet another ball. But this one was covered in little purple hearts. "Ball?" India India's brow raised as if on autopilot. "Where do you get those from so quickly?" He asked, shaking his head. "But yeah, sure. Toss it." The male remembered how he lef the game last time. Least he could do was play with his sister now. Keiki Keiki grinned wickedly. Damis was good in this game, so that made sure that she was better. Without a scond thought she bounced it and the hit it up high with her tails. Maybe she should be easy on her less experienced brother...or not. India Not having to move too much after the first hit, India lazily nosed at the ball, sending it flying back in his sister's general direction. Whether or not he tried, it always seemed like his hits wobbled slightly. If one were to look just right, they would see it. He didn't like it. Keiki Keiki grinned. She quickly began to spin as the ball made it's way back to her. WIth a final turn, a really good timing, she it the ball back at her brother hard. She'd love to see how he handle hard ball. India It was obvious that the ball was coming fast and it wasn't gonna be another easy nose-hit. Huffing, he moved quickly, much faster than he would at any other time. Needless to say, his body didn't want to keep up with his thoughts. Luckily, he was able to swat at the ball with a sharp paw. Rather than going up, it flew off straight, heading right back to its sender. Keiki Keiki's grin had become quite toothy. Now that she was older, she rather enjoyed playing harder games. "Haaaaaaaah!" She ran forward, head bent low. It hit her head, sending it up and back. With a jump she head butted it back towards her brother. Sure her head hurt a bit. India India was starting to get a better grasp of the game. Watching his sister doing all of her crazy stunts inspired him to at least try something different, even though what he did wasn't as flashy. Stopping the ball's flight with his shoulder, he quickly spun around and smacked it with his tails. Keiki keiki jumped in joy. Finally her brother got it! Though...it was sucky...for now she grew tired. She yawned, her head set low once again. She let it hit up off her head, and then caught the ball, setting it down. "Ne...nap time?" India For once he wasn't the one falling asleep on his feet, but then again, nap time sounded pretty good right about now. Stretching, he walked over to his sister and settled down at her side. Setting his head on his paws, he stared at the dark floor under him.

-Pg. 1834-1839India As per usual, India could be found inside, curled up in the corner. He wasn't sleeping currently, but it was obvious it wouldn't be long, had he decided to stay put. But he wasn't much in the mood to sleep. Flicking his all black tail, which had been wrapped around his form, away, he rose. It'd been a few days since his growth. His larger body still felt strange. Nevertheless, a normal yawn escaped his maw and he glanced around wearily. Mortimer Having been camped out on his large smooth rock, Mortimer arose to his paws. Raising his shoulders to stretch, Mortimer shook his head slightly to remove hair in his face. His ears perked up straight, alert and ready fer ze day. Emrald eyes traced his surroundings as he lept from his pedastel. Kayoubi "again?" he said as he ran after Morty. he was behind Morty but he kept a good pace and wasn't that far from Morty. Ki was really delicate. yes, he's like a girl... he felt faint but kept running. he tripped and fell. 'owie...' he said as he stood back up. Morty was now farther from her. he ran after Morty and tried to catch up. he kept a steady pace now, and now he was far from Morty. India Nothing overly exciting caught his attention, not that he was really expecting anything to. He took a few steps, each accented with the stretch of a leg or the flick of a tail. When he was done loosening his muscles, he made an unusual move for the exit. Whereas he would normally lay back down and stare around, he strangly energized new body wanted him to find adventure. Sighing, he stepped outside, the fresh air almost stinging at his lungs. Another sigh left his maw as he glanced around. Mortimer Hearing far off cries, Mortimer's ear twitched towards it's direction. Trotting to it, he spotted Ki once again. His eyes narrowed and he grinned. "Greaat.." He muttered as he turned around. This Kit had been following him around fer awhile now, which became somewhat of a nusence. Kayoubi Ki followed morty to where he was. ki pointed to the kitsu with black and brown. "Look! a kitsu.!" he said. he ran over to the kitsu's direction. Ki slid and spun 3 circles before he stopped. hee hee, he giggled as he stood back up walking dizzily. "oh yeah, hi, whats your name?" he said to the black and brown kitsu. "i'm Ki!" India India was slightly surprised by the hyper Kitsu in front of him. Truth was, he remembered Ki, even if the other didn't remember him. Ki had been the first Kitsu he saw after hatching. Shaking his head, he let out a small, lazy chuckle. He seemed in a good mood, that it, until he saw Morty. Ah, he remembered this Kitsu, as well. Narrowing his amber eyes at the purple male, he tried to act as if he wasn't still feeling somewhat stupid after their last meeting. Kayoubi "are you India?! the cute wittle kitsu i met when you hatched?! your so cute now!!!" he said to the black and brown kitsu. he didn't recognize the markings. he was so grown up now. Ki seemed so little. Ki felt little next to Morty too, so it didn't matter much if he was shorter or taller than India. he was still so cute! black and brown and cute all over. Mortimer Seeing India, Mortimer shrugged and sat on his hanches a distance away from ze duo Kit's. He wasn't much into talking. Looking off in ze oppisite direction, Mortimer pretended not to care, but listened to ze conversation. He wasn't about to let anyone 'diss' him. Tails intertwining, Morty navigated his ears around, hoping something interesting would come along. India The most India could do was nod in answer. He felt slightly overwhelmed by Ki's disposition, not to mention the fact that he was just called cute and 'wittle' in the same sentence. He couldn't remember being called cute by anyone, not even his Kitten sister. It was strange. Shaking it off, he took the opportunity to glance in Morty's direction. So, he wasn't going to be social, but he was going to listen in? Well, might as well have a bit of fun.
"So..." the dark male finally spoke up. "You hang out with Mortimer a lot?" The question seemed innocent enough. Kayoubi "yurp!" he replied. he smiled at the itsu he had once seen hatch. "it seems like forever since you hatched! still remember it though. you were the sweetest little kitsu i saw! well, the only kitsu i saw hatch ever... it was truely amazing. i wonder where my eggu shells are... i wonder if yours are still around here somewhere..." he said to the black and brown kitsu. Ki tipped his head over and looked at Morty. India Though most of Ki's ramblings went in-one-ear-and-out-the-other, India was able to pick up on the basics. He'd never seen a kit hatch, himself. Was it really that amazing? "I don't think egg shells last that long," he said honestly, though he couldn't be too sure. Suddenly, he fell back to the original half of their conversation. Aw, he'd tease Morty later. Sighing, he tried to focus on Ki, but every once in a while, his amber gaze would narrow towards Mortimer. Kayoubi Ki smiled and said "aw... an eggu hatching is so amazing. you never know what'll come out! when you came out, i was amazed. well, i'm amazed at most things and i think..." he said. he was thinking, ' i think?! what kind of response was that?!' India "I guess so." India hadn't really thought of it that way. So it was like a surprise? Not that he really liked surprises. Catching the other's sentence as it fell off, he raised an eyebrow. Curious as to what Ki was going to say, he questioned: "You think....?" Canting his head slightly, he waited to see if his question would be answered. Kayoubi "yep! i think." Ki said sitting there nervous of what India might think. "you were so little when you were first born. it was very exciting to see how you'd react. and if you would resemble your egg's colour." he said as he moved his hands during his little talk. it was a little creepy to watch. but he didn't mind. he was hyper that way too. India India had never felt little. It was almost weird to realize that he had been small once. Shaking it off, he let a slight grin work its way across his maw. Again he found himself curious. After hatching, he hadn't even taken the time to give his egg shell one last look. "So, do I look like my egg did?" He asked, obviously curious, but he did his best to keep it hidden in his voice. Kayoubi While India was talking, Ki was playing with his tails. Ki enjoyed most things that was amusing. he turned over and said, "huh? yea you look like your eggu~ cute and cwuddly~ and very lively. black and brown too!" he said snuggling India's tails now. they were so soft. Ki's tails were behind him. they had 3 plain stripes, not as amusing as India's whose all were a different design. India India's all black tail twitched under the contact. It seemed to be the most sensitive of the three. There was no real reason behind this fact, it just was. His other two tails were all but unaffected. "Lively, huh?" He couldn't see himself as lively, but ah well. Gently pulling his tails from the other's grip, he grinned. "I'm gonna head inside." Offering Ki a little nuzzle, a rather unfamiliar action, he turned and headed for the HQ.

---Insomnia
-Pg. 1882-1897India For once India wasn't sleeping or lounging about, rather he could be found pacing. It was the strangest feeling. He was tired, but he couldn't sleep. He'd never experienced anything like it before, but he could say without a doubt that he hated it. Each of his own steps seemed to echo uncontrolled, ringing horribly in his sensitive ears. A soft grumbled rolled in his throat as he continued the pacing anyway. Keiki Keiki strolled in happily. Normally she loved being around her family, but instead she'd rather just have some fun. Though now, she felt more at him here than the Mountain. Cyan eyes blinked as she spotted her brother. He seemed irritate. Though, he was still her brother. She skipped over to him and tilted her head to the side comically. "Sleepy gene Di-nii-kun? India "Dunno, Kitten. Can't sleep." Even with her arrival, his pacing was uninterrupted. But then, there were only a few more steps taken before amber eyes snapped to his sister's form and he moved to sit next to her. His tails twitched in annoyance, the all black one swinging around to cover his paws. "Is the sleepy gene supposed to do this?" The male had heard his sister speak of this gene a few times. Truth was, he wasn't exactly sure what it was, but if it was keeping him up, he wanted to be rid of it. Keiki Keiki blinked. Her brother wanted to sleep? That's insane. Sleeping was boring. Gosh sleepy gene-ed relatives. "Eeeeeehh...Otou-san hasn't had this yet....demo....I think that you're either secretively hungry....or there's something going on that you are in need of telling your darling sister." She smiled at him with an obviously sneaky intention. She wanted to know she wanted to know! India An inquisitive look etched itself across India's features. He was even unable to control the slight raise of his eyebrow. "Well, maybe I'm a little hungry, but..." As for the other half, he wasn't sure what she was getting at. Something to tell her? "But I don't know what you're talking about." For some reason, his voice sounded as if he may be hiding something. Purely unintentional, of course. Keiki Keiki pouted and looked at her brother. "I mean...like a girlfriend! Or something like that! Something exciting or nerve wrackin! Come on now!" Emotions were annoying and often did that. Keiki layed her head upon her brother, a pout still upon her face. "You should eat something...like fruit!" Just because she was hyper didn't mean she disliked healthy foods, she acutally adored them! Except for carrots. Bleck. India India couldn't hold back a scoff. "Girlfriend? The only other girl I've met besides you, Kitten, was a kit when we met. You remember her? We played ball with her. She's probably not even an adult yet." Some Kitsu might be amazed to realize how few others they actually knew, but he wasn't bothered in the least. Girlfriend? Bah! Who needed one? He nipped lightly at his sister's ear. "And I don't feel like looking for food." Keiki "Oh same same. Keiki doesn't know many." Keiki snuggled up to her brother for a bit. She then smirked and decided to do what she did quite well. Pull out something out of no where! And so, out before her was a bowl of fruit. Yeah, she was good. Like a magician. India It was just like with the ball! India let out a little laugh, his head plopping sideways to lay on top of his sister's for a moment. "How do you do that? I just don't get it." Quickly giving up on trying to wrap his tired brain around the secret, he pulled away from Keiki just enough to reach the bowl. Pulling out a banana, he bit down and swallowed the middle, peel and all. The ends fell from his maw and landed at his paws. This time, he lazily peeled away the outer covering with his teeth before eating the soft fruit. Keiki Keiki giggled happily. She loved being this good. "When you babysit a little witch-kit...you pick up somethings ya know." She giggled again and joined in the eating. She favored the grapes and strawberries. She turned to her brother, and her eyes bugged out a bit. "Ew..." That was the main reason she didn't like eating bananas that weren't pre-peeled. India "The peel's not that bad," India said, a slight defence in his voice. But he laughed it off anyway. The natural sugar was already giving him a slight boost. He doubted how long it would last, though. Licking his maw, he glanced at the fruit, slightly torn between an apple or a pear. Both looked good, but he grabbed a pear. It hung from his mouth as he chewed idly. It was a slightly difficult way to eat, but he didn't feel like bending over. Unfortunately, he was forced to bend over anyway when he accidently dropped the food. Keiki Keiki blinked several times at her brother. "I repeat. Ew." She was quite thankful for having two family members with hands now. Her family could live...so much easier with hands. She sighed and went back to eating the smaller things that didn't need massive amount of chewing. Like the nice little cherries at the bottom. Of course it did look like she was bobbing for something, well she kind of was. India "Whatever," India drawled, finishing the pear and allowing the remnants to fall to where the banana's half-peels lay. Stretching his shoulders, he watched his sister dive into the bowl for the cheeries. "You know, if you ate the larger fruit, like me, you wouldn't have to eat so much..." Tilting his head, he debated going after another snack, but couldn't get a bite in edgewise with his sister's head in the way. Remus & Chroma Chroma bounced in, high on dinner & the desert that followed. Trailing behind her -mostly in the role of chaperone but with a curiosity to see others of his kind this night- Remus entered at a more sedate pace. The adults there looked familiar & the wizard quickly placed them as kitsu he had first seen much younger. That satisfied him. Chroma however was so excited she did not make the realization as swiftly as her more intellectually oriented brother. Spotting the siblings her brow furrowed even as she grew more excited at the prospect of friends while she pondered what could possibly be familiar about them. The light bulb that went off when it dawned on her might have well been visible for all that her eyes lit up happily. With a skip to her four-footed step she headed their direction. "Hi! Long time no see! We've all grown!? So excited was she, it did not phase her one bit that they were adults while she was still a teen. But then, that might just be part of being a teenager. Keiki "Well sooo~rry if I'm a woman. With womanish habits." That pretty much being one of the less than ten. Clean. Yes, two females, two males, and an egg. One part had to be the clean up crew. It was these two sisters of course. "Besides...the big ones are funner to eat when they're all small. The smaller the fruit the more fun stuff you can do with it." India India shook his head at his sister's logic. As his little natural sugar rush began to wear off already, he thought to throw a snide remark in her direction. She was saved, however, by another female. Amber eyes took in her coloration. How ironic. "Yeah, nice to see you again." The male said, a small smile slipping to his maw. His voice was obviously much more placid than the other's, but such was his personality. For a moment, he sent his gaze to his sister, before returning it to Chroma. Keiki Keiki looked at the kit her brother was addressing. Something...familiar..."Chroma!!!" With a a bound she went over to the female. He gave the lighter kit a lick before smiling greatly. "It's been so long! How've you been? Have you met anyone you know...'interesting'?" Keiki was bouncing in her heels. Natural sugar high plus her normal sugar high, heh. She needed to burn this out or else she and Kosuit would keep everyone up. Chroma Her eyes glimmered more at being recognized. Not that she thought for a moment she might not be, just that it felt good. "I've been great! Met lots of interesting kitsu... Gypsy who plays ball & chase really well, a male called Link who ran a race with me while he was hurt..." A flash of concern crossed her face. "And I saw a fight! Webs & lightning & stuff! Very cool!
What about you guys? All fun?"India Sighing, India almost wished he had his sister's energy. Almost. Stretching his neck idly, he swished his all black tail back to join with the others. Standing, he stretched out his back before moving to sit again. As he did so, he noticed Remus. He'd been around when they first met Chroma, too. Maybe he was her father or something, he figured. Wrapping the usual all black tail back around his legs, he shrugged at the yellow femme's question. "If you call hanging out with your sister fun," he said jokingly. Keiki Keiki pouted again and blew a raspberry at her brother. He could be so mean sometimes! "Well you know it is. Better than sleeping." She stuck out her tongue at him again. Adult in look, child in heart. That part was obvious. "Anyway...we gave grand-neices/nephews!" That was news. Remus and Chroma "I love being with my brother!" Nodding her point she beamed across the way at Remus, who had pulled a book from his robes & was flipping pages to find his spot. Remus, is it fun hanging out with me?"A soft smile touched his face, hearing Chroma's words. Chroma dear, you are always fun to be with."Smiling, Chroma shivered with happiness from nose to tips of tails. Then it dawned on her what Keiki said. "Grand nieces & nephews?!? Wow!! But you're not that old... are you?" Scrunching up her face she peered at her playmates, trying to fathom the age discrepancy she thought must be there. India India didn't have to try hard in not returning his sister's childish acts. Huffing, he shrugged again, at a loss for how to remedy her obvious un-anger, more so than actual anger at the situation. As he heard Chroma talk to the other male, he grinned slightly. So he was her brother. His attention lingered on the wizard a while longer until the yellow one's voice met his ears again. Old? Them? No way. Truthfully, he didn't even know of these grand nieces and nephews she spoke of. Keiki Capili nodded enthusiastically. Though she didn't get along well with their father, she did love them. "Yup! Our eldest sister, Capili's son. He got his 'partner-in-crime' all knocked up. And they had twins! They're Generation 7!" She loved mentioning that part. Generation 7. It made her father feel older than he already did. She giggled.
Siblings were probably the best part in a family. Even after time, you know your siblings will have you back. Chroma This was confusing, but Keiki's enthusiasm made Chroma think better somehow. "Oldest sister? So, then, your parents must be very very prolific then!" Chroma's wide-eyed amazement floored her & the teen sat down rather heavily. The fact that she used one of Remus' big words went completely over her head. She gazed curiously at India. "Does that mean you will be prolific too?"It was meant to be a 'you' incorporating all their parents' children, but it probably did not sound that way. Remus Remus quirked his own ears to the conversation over the content of his book. Kitsu could have nice, long, prolific lives he had noticed. Severus & his family made that clear to him. Sometimes he still had to come to grips with that himself, when the memories of his previous 'life' were strong. Chroma was different. She was raised mostly by their human & was accustomed to the slow growth of the human child. That, & his darling sister was not a student in any way. Hers was the lessons in life. India An almost blush crept it's way across India's features. It was all but unnoticable under his black fur, however. Actually, he had been surprised he'd even known what that words was and what it meant. Well, he hadn't really been planning on having kids and such. Maybe it would be nice, but... He shook his head as if to clear the thoughts and give her an answer. "I dunno, maybe. Haven't really thought about it." He then answered vocally. It was a rather evasive answer. The tip of his all black tail twitched lightly as it sat across his paws. "What about you?" Chroma Chroma blinked. What about her? She actually had not even considered not having children. "Well, sure I'd like kits! I'd need a mate first." It was one of those rare instances when she realized what she said & then subsequently realized the gender of the one she said it to. Instantly she was blushing too; the red of her cheeks easily coming through her light fur making them seem to match her red tips. "Ah.. well.. of course... hehe.... I'm sure Remus will be mated and having kits before me anyhow."Remus Engrossed in his book -but not enough- Remus sputtered. His eyes bugged out & he coughed. "Thank you, Chroma dear, for reminding me." The more shy kitsu delved back into the safety of his book. Would that he felt safe enough to woo a lady kitsu... but he could dream, could he not? India Noticing the other's blush, he felt his own cheeks growing hotter. It was annoying. He felt like a little girl. Shaking his head, he felt slight relief as his brown bangs swished cool air into his fur. But still, he felt as if the spotlight were on him. Glancing away, his amber eyes scanned the room as if looking for a scapegoat on which to shrug his discomfort, however, one was provided for him. It wasn't that he enjoyed Remus's discomfort, it was just that he needed some way to lessen his own. Sighing, he looked back to Chroma, offering a change of subject. "So... you want some fruit?" He asked dumbly, nodded towards the still half-full bowl that Keiki had magically summoned earlier. Chroma She had just eaten, but the taste of her foot in her mouth along with the feeling that it would be rude not to accept India's offer decided for her. "ah, sure. That sounds nice.? With a smile she grabbed at a large red fruit, hoping that her lingering blush might be attributed to a reflection of the fruit's skin in some way. Remus Alone with his thoughts, Remus sighed. He was no longer really reading his book. Not at the moment anyway. Times like this, he wished he had more of James' or Sirius' ability to speak with the opposite sex. Not that he needed it right now; just that the situation reminded him how woefully inadequate he himself was in such a department. But then, Chroma was normally quite adept at speaking with anyone of either gender. It was not until her blunder that she had difficulties. Perhaps more had insecurities than Remus had thought. Or perhaps it was a natural part of the courting ritual. Not that he would know. India India was glad she'd accepted his offer. That made the change of subject run much smoother. To make himself seem more inconspicuous, he also grabbed at a fruit. Another banana. Again, he went through the same ritual of biting it through the middle, savoring the peel and all of the single bite, before lazily peeling the remaining halves and finishing the mushy snack. Once he was finished, he licked at his chops to make sure none of the white-ish yellow food remained. Glacing out of the corner of his eye at Chroma, he waited for her to finish while his brain worked at a pace too fast for his current energy level, trying to think of some way to make normal conversation. Chroma A giggle escaped her as she saw how India ate his banana. Chroma managed to contain it enough that she did not choke on her own fruit. It was tasty, & when she had finished she too liked her lips for traces of escaped edibles. She was not quite as diligent about it as India was, but if she left anything Chroma was blissfully unaware. Now she could giggle freely. "I've never seen anyone eat a banana like that!? Her grin showed that she was merely amused, not mocking. "Does it taste better that way?? India India seemed to ponder her question for a moment. Did it really taste better or did he just do that to make the other ends easier to peel? Truthfully, he hadn't thought about it. "Well..." he finally replied, "It doesn't taste any worse. I kinda like the peel, I guess." Nodding, as it to solidify his answer, he offered a wry grin. There was one banana left in the bowl. "You wanna try it?" He asked, pawing at the bowl so that it tipped, but not quite enough to send the fruit everywhere. Chroma That sounded like fun! With glimmer in her eye, Chroma snagged a banana from the tipped bowl. Drawing back, her ears brushed against the paw India used to tilt the bowl & the teen shook her head at the strange sensation. She backed up so she could be looking at India, then crossed her eyes as she positioned the banana for a center snapping bite. With a grin & a goofy wiggle of her posterior (akin to pre-pounce playfulness) Chroma chomped eagerly into the yellow fruit. She smushed it. Though the banana was bit clear in two, the actual center of her bite had been pressed into either end. Bits of pale yellow pulp clug to the fur on her face as she chewed the rind thoughtfully, oblivious for the moment to the mess. "hmmmm... peel's not as yummy as the filling." She managed around the bite in her mouth before swallowing. She licked at the banana center still in one of the ends. "Yeah... center's much tastier!" India It had actually surprised the male how eager she'd been to try his suggestion. Personally, he'd be rather wary of such an offer. Nevertheless, he couldn't help but smile lightly at her antics. The smile slipped only slightly as her ear startled him, but it was only a temporary fall. Shaking his head almost in mirror with her own movements, he let out a soft breath.
An inquisitive eyebrow raised as he observed her snacking. "I'm glad you had fun, at least," he offered when she'd finished. Truthfully, he'd almost laughed out loud at her mess. His own banana eating tended to be less messy. Maybe his teeth were just sharper or something. Allowing a small chuckle to slide from his throat, he raised his paw to bat playfully at the same ear that had brushed against it earlier. Chroma "Much fun!? Chroma grinned, beaming. She ducked her head almost shyly as the adult batted her ear. Did it seem different because he was not in her family? The teen part of her wondered if there was something more to it while her own carefree nature tried to brush it aside as completely normal. She flicked her tongue out to lick an errant spot of banana from her nose, eyes going cross trying to watch. "heh-heh. I think my teeth aren't as sharp as yours. Maybe they'll be sharper when I'm an adult?? She cocked her head endearingly at India, seeking affirmation or something similar. "I thought they were sharp..." Chroma snapped her teeth together a couple of times, drawing back her lips & jutting out her jaw as she attempted to let India have a look at them. Perhaps he could see something she could not. India India almost pulled back his playful gesture mid-way. To him she seemed somewhat uncomfortable with it. Whatever the case, by the time his mind had fully registered these thoughts, the deed was done and he was setting his dark paw back down with the others. Letting out a thoughtful breath as she spoke next, he allowed his own teeth to show ever so slightly as he offered a grin. It almost surprised him that they had been thinking along the same lines, no matter how logical the thought was. A small laugh could be heard, laced within his voice. "Well, I'm sure they are sharp," he confirmed, offering a critical look or two at her exposed fangs. "And I'm sure they'll be sharper still when you grow." There was a little nod that followed his words. A sort of physical conformation that he always liked to add to a verbal one. Remus & Chroma So happy was Chroma at her adult friend's opinion that she stopped jutting her jaw out, grinned wildly, & gave him her version of a hug. That entailed dashing at India as if tackling, head-butting his shoulder affectionately, then continuing forward, pressing the length of her body against that spot until she could romp around & face him again; which she did, happy as ever. Watching over the top of his book Remus sighed. He wondered if his dear little sister had any inkling of what she might have done to India if the male kitsu had any feelings for her. Or even to herself. Probably not. Sighing, he slipped his book back into the inner pocket of his cloak & rose to join India & Chroma. "Chroma dear... & India, right?" He nodded mannerly at the other male. "Remus J. Lupin, Chroma's brother." Remus did not feel right without introducing himself just out of principle. Even if he had heard Chroma share his name with India. "I regret to bring this so quickly to a close, But Chroma & I need to be getting home soon."Chroma's eyes widened and she checked the outside view. "Is it that late already?" She did not bother to hide the disappointment & wistfulness in her voice. "I'm afraid so."She sighed. Then -as if a thought struck her- she smiled, rose up on her hind legs, & licked India on the nose impulsively. Flopping back down, she continued grinning. "We'll just have to play again another day!"Shocked, Remus moved a little slower to leave than he otherwise would walk. He nodded an erstwhile goodbye at India. Concern for his happy-go-lucky sister enveloped him; more on the ways she could get herself into trouble around less honorable kitsu. At least India does not seem the pushy or invasive type... Still, in big brother fashion, he wondered if anything was going on. Relationships really were not his forte. India The male's formed stiffened at the contact, but he held his ground nonetheless. He wasn't used to such displays of affection, besides those that were forced upon him by his sister. Not to mention the words of said sister. Those annoying play pickings about him liking someone. Grumbling, though it was far from audible, he forced his body to relax. Then, as Remus joined them, he almost sighed. That relief was short lived, however, when he was told that they would have to go. Nodding robotically at the introduction, he was able to conjure a little smile. It confused him. Never before had he felt unhappy knowing he would be alone.
He was about to say good bye quickly, as if just to get it over with, when he felt the other's tongue against his nose. It was a very strange feeling, one that made him shiver slightly. But he felt a bit better when her heard her voice. "Yeah..." he responded, though it sounded somewhat monotone. Watching them leave, he returned the nodded farewell. When they were out of sight, he finally moved. Settling in the corner of the room, he laid his head on his paws, but rather than covering his head and staring at the ground, he stared out, wondering if anyone else would stop by.

---Name
-Pg. 1900-1901India Even with the time that had passed, India remained in the corner of the room, looking out as if waiting for company. While normally he would've fallen asleep by now, he found he couldn't. It was strange for the Kitsu who loved dreamland so much. Sighing, he swung his all black tail to wrap around his form. Each of his three tails twitched slightly, as if in some nervous habit. Though there really was no reason to be nervous. Sirius Sirius had been through so much sleep that the kitsu was literally radiating energy. After having spent most of his time napping at home without anyone to disturb him, he is now up and walking around the HQ in an attempt to find something to do. More importantly, someone to chat with. India Amber eyes snapped to the moving form. Though he didn't know this other, India felt as if, for some reason, he could just walk right up and be accepted. Maybe it was just his own need for company at the moment, but, what they heck, there wasn't any harm in trying. Lifing his body, he slowly slipped towards Sirius, trying to seem normal. Truthfully, he wasn't used to introducing himself to others. Sirius Sirius halted in his steps, and turned to look at the approaching kitsu. He broke into a bright grin, happy to have found some form of company. Sitting down on the floor, Sirius curled one of his tails around his left foot. Nodding at the kitsu, he opened his mouth, "Hello!" India Needless to say, India was a bit surprised at the warm welcome. Once he was close enough, he too sat, bringing his all black tail around in a similar manner. "Hello..." he answered in his almost monotone voice. Tilting his head, he wondered if this one would ask his name. Oh, how he hated giving out his name. Sirius Sirius grinned. He had always loved company, and having lived the last few days sleeping his time away, seeing another kitsu beside himself lifted his spirits greatly. He studied the male briefly. "My name's Sirius Black, although you can call me Sirius." He paused, offering the black male a smile. "What's your name?" India Of course. He knew it was only a matter of time before a name was offered. And as such, an equal gift was asked in return. That's the way it went, he knew. Almost sighing, he opened his maw to speak. "India..." he muttered quietly, shifting as if to pull the other's attention to his movements, rather than what he'd just said. Sirius "India?" Sirius echoed, before frowning. That name sounds so familar, like he had heard it from somewhere, he just can't put his paw on where he had heard it from. "Hm... That sounds so familar... I don't supposed that we've met before, right?" His tails flicked from his left to the right, Sirius still thinking about India's name. He's sure that he had heard it from somewhere before. India India almost flinched as he realized he had been heard. Ah well, no helping it. Flicking one eye shut, he watched Siris critically for a moment. "No," he finally answered. "I don't think so." Thinking he could've heard the name from someone else, India sighed. It sucked knowing that others knew his girly name. "Maybe you heard it from someone else..." he offered. Sirius "Maybe..." Sirius answered, his frown lifting. He raised an eye-brow quizzingly at India, seemingly studying him. After a few seconds, he finally asked, "So, tell me... Do you dislike your name?" India It was a surprise. India looked almost unwilling to answer. Besides his sister, Keiki, he hadn't told anyone about his dislike of the name 'India.' Finally he answered, "Yes..." There was slight hesitation in his tone, but he continued. "I mean, it's a girl's name." It's not that he didn't like girls, but he was a boy. Sirius "Heh, I think it suits you rather well." Sirius laughed, not unkindly, but in a relaxed manner. He winked at India, "And it doesn't really sound that girly... Maybe you can give yourself a nickname if you really dislike it that much." Maybe being a 'big-mouth' is good afterall. India That answer seemed to calm India a bit. Still, he couldn't help but wonder why he had been given such a name. Tilting his head ever so slightly, he offer a responce. "Well, I guess it's not that bad. I don't think I could give myself a nickname, anyway. I mean, I'd rather have people know be by my real name or not know it at all." It was a strange responce, considering he didn't like giving his name. Sirius Sirius smiled to himself. India was so much more 'normal' compared to the kitsus who he had met before. Despite the fact that he had wanted to meet a more... Crazy kitsu, he actually enjoyed India's company. He nodded and grinned, "Glad to hear that you think that way!" India India laughed lightly. For one reason or another, almost every Kitsu he'd met so far seemed a perfect opposite for his placid personality to attract to. He found himself almost as calm in Sirius's company as he was when in solitude. "So, um..." Still, he wasn't a very good conversation starter. "What kinda stuff do you like?" Great question. Sirius "Me?" Sirius frowned a little, deep in thought. He hadn't really thought about it, but there are certain things that seem to catch his interest. He grinned. "I like socialising, in short, chatting. Also, excitement." He nodded, and continued, "And fun." His last comment had a sort of mysterious tone to it. Sirius' definition of 'fun' is very different what others might have in mind. India Yes, they were quite opposite. India found it amusing to voice the fact. "I like almost the exact opposite things." He said, shaking his head with a little smile. It was then he grew curious. If he hadn't actually noticed the strange air Sirius's words held, then more so he just believed 'fun' was a rather broad term. "What kinda fun?" He found himself asking. Sirius "Opposites really do attract. I didn't believe it until today!" Sirius replied, voice showing his amusement. When asked about 'fun', Sirius became silent for a moment. He slowly begun, "I... Well, to say the truth, I don't know how to explain it either..." He found it difficult to explain that fun to him means teasing people and seeing them squirm with his every comment. Magic also comes in handy for this sort of situations. India A smirk seemed to slip across India's features for a second, but was gone before it was really possible to be sure. He had come to believe in opposites attracting as soon as he began to truly care for his sister. And, rather than letting the other's lack of a real answer bother him, he just let it drop. Had he been given the description of his idea of fun, he probably wouldn't have cared that it seemed a bit mean, anyway. Sirius "Well, how about you?" Sirius asked a moment later, hoping to break the silence. He tilted his head and gave a slight smile, "What do you like to do during your free time, and what kind of things do you like? Do you have any family?" His curiousity was killing him. A habit he had tried to keep in check with limited success. India India took a moment to absorb the questions. He always liked to fully think things through before answering. "I like sleeping," he started off simply. "I like solitude and I like to think. I don't usually like company, but sometimes it's nice." The tip of his all black tail twitched across his paws as he continued. "I have..." he stopped to count. "Six brothers and sisters. Parents, of course. Nieces and nephews and even grand nieces and nephews I've heard."
He stopped short after that, his voice seeming to lose that natural something that made it fade out smoothly. It was just then his earlier insomnia caught up to him. He realized it'd been more than a day since he'd last slept. A tired expression replaced his stoic one. "Ah... I think I'm gonna go." He said, his tone unusually nice. "Nice meeting you. I hope we can meet up again." With that, he wandered off to the corner again, laying down to sleep.

---Poofy
-Pg. 1908-1911India One amber eye snapped open, followed by another. Thankfully, his sleep had been uninterrupted, which all but helped him recover from his amnesia. Yawning, he forced himself up, even though his body protested it. He felt kind of stiff, but that was to be expected. Tarik Tarik wandered out of his pillow haven, yawning briefly before shaking his puffy fur out. He could tell it was good weather that day; his hair wasn't frizzing. What a pleasant surprise. He caught sight of his brother india. "Perfect!" India Even though Tarik had seen him, India was blissfully unaware of the other's presence. Then again, if he had seen his snow-turned brother, he might not've even reccognized him right off. Letting another yawn escape his throat, he stood and stretched out his back, all three tails flailing with the motion. Tarik Tarik wandered up, swishing his own tails. "Hey bro, how's it going?" India India pulled out of his stretch, critically eyeing the Kitsu that had just greeted him. As expected, it took his brain a moment to put two and two together to get Tarik. "Is that really you, Tarik?" he asked dumbly. "You got... really poofy." Keiki Keiki yawned from behind the couch. She had opted to sleep here whilst the rest of her family watched over Xyrie. It wasn't that she disliked the child, but instead she wanted to sleep some more. The girl was just adorable, it was hard to rest when she wasn't. Something their father mastered well. Though the other reason was to be with her brood-siblings. Tarik Tarik grinned a bit. "Yeah... I got all poofy... but it's okay. I keep warm when it's cold. And my friend likes it." Keiki Keiki smirked. She heard that; better yet she knew that voice. "Don't you mean girlfriend Tarik-nii-kun?" She yelled out behind the couch and leaned against it. She did not have the sleepy gene! She just...hadn't slept much when Xyrie was around. India India's ear twitched in the direction of their sister. He didn't doubt that she'd be joining them soon. Returning his attention to Tarik, he grinned slightly. "Well, it looks good on you. But you gotta watch out for those warm days now." Tilting his head, he added, "Who's your friend?" He didn't change it to girlfriend, as Keiki had. Tarik Tarik sent a glare toward the couch. "She is not my..... girlfriend. At least not yet. Her name is Nixis, she's a very interesting kitsu with a little flame on her tail." He couldn't help but think about how cute he thought it made her look. India "Nixis, eh? Never met her." India's voice remained placid and almost monotone, as usual. He was interested about what went on in his brother's life, but he wasn't one to pry. Not like Keiki, he thought with a slight frown. But he shook it off. That's just how their sister was. Keiki Slowly, Keiki rose up and moved around the couch. She yawned a bit and approached her brothers, a sleepy grin upon her face. "Ne...Tarik-nii-kun's kinda like Otou-san. He has a thing for flaaaames" She stuck at her tongue as she said that last word, wriggling it around. She yawned again and looked at her fluffy brother. She blinked and yawned again. Lucky them, never having to babysit anything. Tarik Tarik shook his head. "You're a handful..." he muttered, then tilted his head. "You seem tired. Have you been busy lately?" He didn't mind being so fluffy or that his friend had a flame. He liked the flam eyes but... they werne't anything yet... were they? India India also tilted his head at their sister as Tarik asked the question. It was rare to see her yawning so much. Nevertheless, it couldn't be too bad for them. That way, they didn't have to deal as much with her hyperactivity. Keiki Keiki nodded, still yawning. "Of course. You two aren't babysitting our grandneice. And knowing the females in our family, you know they're all hyper little bundles." Of course, they knew. They had her. She yawned, stretching out her body, a few cracks being heard. "Fruit?" And as usual, she magically whipped out a bowl of fruit. India "It's sad we even have a grand-niece." India mirrored her yawn, though not of his free will. "Our family's too busy." And ah, the magic fruit bowl again. He was expecting it a tiny bit, but he still couldn't say he wasn't confused by where it came from. "Sure." Leaning forward, he grabbed the customary banana. As he was about to bite down, he thought of Chroma and how she'd tried eating the banana like he did. He quickly shook the thought away. He wouldn't have peace if his sister had even a tiny idea what he was thinking. Keiki "Yep. Damis' libido is from his father's side." That part was joked about all the time. "Ne...how's Chroma?" She spoke before gong down to pick out the grapes and strawberries. Though this time she even had cantelope, a peiced up of course. Cantelope was good. And even more yum was the natural sugar it had. India India felt as if he'd been slapped with a wet noodle. It didn't hurt a bit, but it left an annoying wet trail across the assulted body part. Maybe it had been the libido that had reminded her of Chroma. More than likely that was it. He bit down on the banana and chewed his bite before answering. "She's fine. At least since the last time I saw her," he answered, trying to sound nonchalant. Truthfully, he was still confused about the loneliness he's felt after the yellow Kitsu had left with Remus and Trinity. Luckily he at least had Sirius to talk to afterwards. Keiki Keiki's cyan eyes giggled with mirth. Oh she saw that hesitation. Man did she have good intuition! She finished off the strawberry and looked at him. "I see it, I hear it. Could it be that my darling Di-nii-kun has a crush? On little.......Chroma?" With every word she got closer and closer to him. Her eyebrows wiggled for a moment. Ooo how exciting! Though...it only reminded her on how far behind she was. Oh well. India "Pft..." Was the best retort India could come up with a first. He moved onto peeling the two remaining halves of his banana without a word. Darn his sister. She was his closest sibling, but oh did he hate her. Eating one of the peeled halves, he turned back to her. "Shaddup, Kitten," he muttered between fruit fragments. "Besides," he added, swallowing, "She's too young for me..." He hardly sounded convincing. Keiki Keiki merely 'hmph'ed and turned back. She idly picked out a few cantelope and chewed on them thoughtfully. Too young? psh. They grew. She swalled and looked at her brother, wriggling her eyebrows again. "Oh but they grow. Besides...mother's older than Pap. And Damis got Rune before she was legally an adult. Now look at those two. Twins! Ha!" She ate some grapes. "Denial? Haven't realised it? Or are you just making excuses?" She chuckled. Women's intui~tion. India "'D,' none of the above," India drawled sarcastically. Laying down, he picked idly at the last banana half in front of him. Yeah, he knew they grew. It's not like he was stupid. Bah. "Why do you care so much, anyway?" he asked, a genuine curiousity in his voice. What was she gonna do, help him get with Chroma? Like he would let himself believe that. Letting out an almost inaudible moan, he rolled over onto his side. Keiki "Well someone has to keep the family 'in-the-know'." No she wasn't gossiping. Her sister and father liked to know what went on with the family. And most likely, they'd like to know whether or not to expect grandchild/neices/nephews. She wanted to know too. She was just bolder than anyone else. "Sides...I gotta keep our bond alive you know. Our deep, dark, family bond." She siddled next to him and licked his face. India "Thanks for the sentiment," India replied. 'Deep, dark, family bond'? There were some days he still wondered what kinda crazy family he'd been born into. Taking the desplay of affection in stride, mostly because he'd come to expect it from his sister, he sighed. "So, I guess you're gonna run off and tell mom and dad about this as soon as you leave?" He didn't sound angry, but he didn't sound too happy, either. Keiki "Nope, Daddy'll be asleep. Damis won't care. Kosuit'll prolly be with Xyrie and the two will ask me questions so yes. Plus this mission was of course commissioned by our darling sister." She smiled again and snuggled him again. The bowl was near finished...almost only cherries. She dug in and at the last of it before making the bowl disappear. "Speaking of such I should go back before Damis tries to lock me out. Tata Nii!" She gave him a loving peck on the cheek before skipping out, high on natural sugar. India "Good night..." India sighed, setting his head on his paws. It's not like it was a big deal, anyway, he tried to tell himself. Glancing to where his sister had left from, he sighed. Maybe a walk outside...? Nah. Yawning, he moved and set his forehead on his paws, as he usually did, and stared down at the floor.

---Nightmare
-Pg. 1926-1931India India was awake, as rare as that situation happened to be. Then again, seeing as he'd only been a wake an hour, maybe, it wasn't all that unusual. Amber eyes scanned the area from the corner he stood in; a rather good vantage point. His all black tail flicked idly, while the other two remained still. Dementor Dementor meandered his way in, why he had come to the HQ he was not quite sure. The main idea he had as to why he had left home for the time being was mearly that the new Kitsu at home was a pampered little snack bar. It was sickening just being around the creature. Not that he was always happy like Fledge, oh no he got depressed...Actually quite easily if Dementor was to...Help out.
His scabby pointed ears rotated forward as he grunted, licking his chops before wandering deeping into the room. Fledge was behind him, yawning and contiually crashing into his hind leg. You've have though the guardian would have figured to slow his pace, but no he kept the same pace and continued to crash into Dementor. India There was nothing interesting. It seemed there almost never was when he decided to stay awake. When others caught up to him, he tended to be on the verge of sleep. Now, when he was awake and almost, but would never admit, looking for company, there was none. At least, not until an eerie feeling swam from the tip of his solid-colored tail and up his spine. A quick look brought up the cause.
India had never met a nightmare before. The sight of the strange creature startled him greatly. Dark ears slipped against his skull momentarilly, then rose again, but held a level as if to say: 'I won't mess with you.' He didn't yet know that Dementor couldn't see. Dementor Dementor hadn't noticed the other, his ears had not picked up any sounds and he certainly hadn't crashed into the other or brushed past him. Though even without a sense of smell or the ability to see he'd have been able to sense the other's soul....However it was rare that Dementor cared enough to do such things, and so the other when un noticed for the moment.
He paused in his steps, taking a seat upon his haunches, the corner of his jaw curling as Fledge crashed into him once more. "Fledge...must you...do...that...?" came his raspy, rattling voice, as he turned his head back to 'look' at the guardian.
"S'not my fault I can't see." Fledge huffed, ploping down onto the ground.
"Doe..sn't...mean you...have to...be stu...pid abo...ut it..." India The raspy voice made India's ears twitch and curious eyes narrowed in the nightmare's direction. Sure, he knew there were some Kitsu who chose not to acknowlede the presence of another, however, he hadn't really experienced such 'rejection' himself. It was only with further observation that he noticed the stitches holding shut the pale one's eyes. Now would've been a good time to make himself scarce, but rather than do so, he moved closer to the other. Soft paw-falls were the only telling of his approach. Despite the nagging of his fear to retreat, he kept pace. Dementor Dementor's large ears perked up, soon flicking backward as he turned his head from Fledge over to a sound. It was almost silent, and had he been deaf too, he certainly would not have noticed. However if he had been he most likly would have wandered about looking for souls so that he'd have at least one way to tell if another was there.
His breaths were slow and let off an extreame rattling sound. His blackened hood was pushed back behind his hair and not floped in his face for once. His three vein looking tails swaying slowly, causing the tattered and torn cloak to wrinkle up at the ends.
"And...you a...re?" he almost hissed, had his throat allowed him. India India stopped in his advance, still startled by the voice, even though he'd heard it already. From closer, the rattling breaths were greater in volume and the voice echoed more so in his sensitive ears. A chill seemed to surround them. How strange. Deciding it was in his best interest to answer, he spoke up, though quite tentatively. "I'm... India." Was the most he could get out. Dementor The nightmare grunted, definatly someone he did not know of. Though there were many Kitsu, he did prefer if he knew the ones before him. That was he'd always know who he hated and who he didn't mind speaking with....But speaking with a new Kitsu, one of whom he had not met before. He did not know whether to try and avoid conversation entirly for the likly chance of getting annoied or if he'd enjoy a chat with the one before him.
"You know it's not nice to sneek up on people." Fledge uttered, pointing a chubby little hand a completly random direction. Fledge was never good at telling where one was...Well except Dementor, but that was a given with the nightmare's constant rattling breaths. His sense of direction however always seemed to oddly improve when one was trying to eat him.
Pushing himself up, Feldge folded his arms. "It's a good thing he did eat you here. Sneeking up on people and all."
Dementor sighed. "I..don't..eat peo..ple.."
"What you do is close enough." India 'What you do is close enough'? India's eyebrow raised, though he hadn't really summonded the motion. Still, despite the fear perked by such a statement, he didn't make a move to leave. Maybe it was merely out of his curiousity concerning the nightmare or maybe out of fear that he would be attacked for any sudden movement.
Glancing at the guardian, who's finger was strangely pointed away from him rather than at him, he let out a soft breath. "I'm sorry for sneaking up on you. It was rude, but I suppose my curiousity is too much for me, unfortunately." For now, he figured pure honesty was the best course of action. Dementor "You..'ll ha..ve to...excuse...Fledge." Dementor let out another sigh, lifting one of his large forepaws and placing it down upon the tiny guardian as he usually did when he wanted to get the creature to shut up. "He's...a blum...bering...idiot.."
"Iamnot!" came a muffled voice, as the little creature wiggled under the nightmare's paw. Why did Dementor always have to squish him? There was no need for such things. He could be quiet. He could be unannoying. He could do a lot of things...Or well he was in a delusion that he could do such things...Especially keep quiet when told. India India almost chuckled, but held it in for the sake of formality. He felt far from knowing this other enough to be informal. Besides, he could only imagine how wary having no sight would make himself, he wasn't at all sure about the other. "Um, may I ask your name?" He dared, returning his gaze to the nightmare. Of course, even though he knew physical movements couldn't be seen, he used them out of habit. Dementor "Dementor." came the male's quick reply, as he lifted his paw, the little guardian crawling out and ploping down with an upset look upon his face.
Lifting a hindpaw Dementor scratched at some of the scabbs that lay about on his ears. It was rather annoying sometimes, all the scabbs upon him. They got so itchy, even though they really couldn't be seen...Well at least the ones upon his ears and the one's upon his body. His fur was too thick there, and well he did wear a cloak. But the few that were upon his snout, those if looked at closely could be seen. Not that it really mattered to him, he couldn't see to begin with so he had no need to care as to what he looked like. India "Ah," he sounded out, tilting his head ever so slightly. Once again, his amber gaze shifted to the guardian. Besides never seeing a nightmare, he'd never seen a guardian before. Tossing around the idea of asking a few questions in his head, he sighed.
Finally, he worked up the gall and just asked. "Why do you look different than the Kitsu I've see, Dementor?" He questioned slowly and carefully. "And... what is Fledge?" Dementor Dementor arched a brow, as he turned his head towards Fledge then back towards the other. "I'm..a nigh..tmaren." he spoke with a slight nod, it was quite ovious this other had not seen a nightmare before. "A cur...sed...Kitsu...sagi...if you...will." came his raspy voice once more, as he tried to get out a brief description of what exactly a nightmare made you.
"Fledge..." he paused, his head turning back towards the guardian. "He's..a guar..dian..he can...trans...late what...we say...to the...humans.." India There was a moment of silence after the description as India allowed the words to sink in. A cursed Kitsu? He supposed that was why the other's eyes were stitched. The male knew he could never truly understand what it was to be a nightmare. He suddenly felt outclassed, but also greatful that he wasn't one of the cursed. A thought then registered. "There are many different kinds of Kitsu, aren't there? My brother became a snow Kitsu. Very fluffy." He tried to keep his description short, but still he felt dumb. He felt dumb talking about a fluffed Kitsu breed to a nightmaren. "And Fledge... can talk to humans..." he added with a whisper. It was more of a statement than a question. Dementor Dementor nodded slowly, there were many types and more and more keept poping up. "Many..kinds.." his voice was somewhat low as he spoke, he'd have mentioned how angelics were disgusting, but decided not to. Most other Kitsu seemed to not mind the winged ones, but he. No he hated them, they were so pure so...Perfect. Maybe it was just jelousy, but that didnj't matter to Dementor. He simply just hated them.
"Human's are only good to talk to if they're giving you cookies." Fledge huffed, reciving a grunt from Dementor. With a rather displeased look upon his face he continued, ".....Or if Dementor wants to say something." India Even though not much had truly been said, India felt as if he'd learned a lot. Not just wisdom, but perhaps a little more control over his emotions, as well. "Thank you for talking to me," he offered with a bow. "I... I'm gonna go. Take a nap." Once more, his eyes scanned the cloked figure and his guardian. Perhaps they would meet again someday. Against what could be considered better judgement, he found himself hoping so. "Good bye," he said finally as he walked off.

---Fondness
-Pg. 1960-1968Remus & Chroma Chroma literally bounced into headquarters. She was an adult now & felt much giddiness in the concept. Padding behind her, Remus too was unusually cheerful for a change -especially so close to the full moon which would torment him for the next three nights. Tonight was his last 'free' night for a while, & for once he was glad of it. India India stretched, the last of his nap wearing off. For having met a rather un-nerving character not long ago, he felt great. Letting one last yawn escape his maw, he glanced around. Amber eyes caught sight of a familiar coloration, but no. That couldn't be her, could it? Canting his head ever so slightly, he watched. There was Remus... So it was Chroma. Remus & Chroma A fairly familiar yawn caught the new-adult's attention & she spun in a full circle looking for the source. In the blur she could see of the HeadQuarters for doing that, Chroma recognized a favorite pattern. "India! Look! Look! I'm all grown up!" Even as she spoke Chroma darted over to her friend. She was curious to see their size differences now that they were both adults. At least, she told herself it was only curiosity. Remus grinned, even as his eyes kept constant watch over his little sister. "All grown up in size at any rate." Still rather jovial he meandered more sedately after Chroma, wondering if she would ever grow up in maturity. he almost hoped not. Her naivity & sweetness was rather refreshing. India Even though she was grown, India still had the edge in height, but barely. For a second, a small grin slipped to his maw. It faded almost as fast, but its sentiment remained. "Hey Chroma," he greeted nonchalantly. It was then a bit of their last conversation came back to him. As if to humor her question then, and even his own curiousity, he asked, "So, teeth grown, too?" Remus & Chroma Chroma grinned to catch that smile, then her eyes took on a confused look as she pondered India's question. Now why had she not thought of that? Her mouth made funny movements as she ran her tongue around & over her teeth experimentally. "Ow!" She exclaimed in surprise, eyes widening & tongue pricked. "I'd say they're much sharper!" She looked up at India sheepishly. Her brother could not fully suppress his chuckle at Chroma's antics. Not today when he felt so good. Who would have though that short time with Sirius the previous night would do him this much good? He supposed he had missed his friend far more than he would ever know. India "You'll have to be more careful from now on," he started, but whether this statement was meant serious or merely a joke was hard to tell, "We wouldn't want you to really hurt yourself." Having said his piece on the subject, he stretched out his back, bum unintentionally raising as if he were going to pounce. Once he felt loose enough, he sat, bringing his all black tail to wrap about his paws. "What else is new?" He found himself questioning. Remus & Chroma What else was new? Chroma blushed, not quite knowing why. Perhaps it was that little flutter inside that intensified when it seemed India was about to pounce. What was it about this kitsu that had her not minding sitting still & chatting instead of running around & playing? "Ah, well... I visited the mountain & wore a pink froofroo dress! That was fun!" Her head nodded enthusiastically, remembering the fun. She had not even noticed that the pink completely clashed with her red colorings. Remus' chuckle turned into a choked giggle, remembering the sight. "Oh dear."India India would never admit that he caught the blush. Instead he played it cool, trying to shrug it off as if it weren't something that caused his own face to warm slightly. But then again, that mostly faded when he heard what she said. "'Froo'...?" He mimicked, not exactly sure what the word meant. He tried to imagine her in a dress, but couldn't seem to. At least, not without knowing what 'froofroo' was. Remus & Chroma Remus' head turned, hearing someone entering. He had to blink a few times to confirm what he saw. After all, it had been some time since he saw her; he himself was yet a teen at the time. If Chroma could be fully grown, why not the one who called herself Siggy? Swallowing nervously he glanced back at his sister & India. "If you two would excuse me..." He nodded politely & left them. He had not been much part of their conversation anyway. Which was fine by him. Showing a calmness he did not feel, Remus pawed softly towards the adult Siggy. "ah, Hello. I don't believe we've met. I am Remus. Remus Lupin."The courage must have come from Sirius' pep-talk last night. That... or merely seeing his friend again gave him the guts to be this forward. He certainly had never shown them before. Chroma only gave a nodding glance to her brother's retreat. She knew he would keep her in sight. It was his way. For now she could pretend he was not here. "I think it means funny or odd or not matching..." She wrinkled up her nose. "I don't understand it myself... most clothes seem silly to me."India Even with the explaination, India found himself imagining her in a dark yellow dress now. But that didn't work, it matched! Finally, with an indignant huff, he gave up. Besides, it was silly trying to imagine Chroma in a dress, anyhow, he told himself. "I guess I'd have to agree," he offered, though he hadn't seen many Kitsu in clothes before. Well, Remus and Sirius had their robes. Dementor had his cloke. Nevertheless, that was the extent of clothes he'd seen.
It was then the male's stomach began to complain. An embarassed grin of sorts showed itself. It was times like this he wished his sister and her magic fruit bowl were around. Then again, were she around, she would probably just tease him. Bah. The tip of his black tail twitched slightly. Chroma When India's stomach 'spoke' Chroma cocked her head at him quizzically. "Are you hungry? Dontcha ever eat if I'm not here?? Though that was by far not the case -and she knew it on some level- Chroma still felt the need to say it that way. "Wanna go to the kitchen & see what's there?? She grinned at India. In the kitchen would be that much further away from Remus; not that she understood her desire to get out of his sight. Probably just because she could. India A smirk replaced the last expression. "Nope," he answered jokingly. "Never." Turning off ahead of his younger counterpart, India made for the kitchen. What a novel idea. Hungry, grab a snack. Of course, his mind wasn't completely on food at the moment. Having known himself longer than anyone, he knew of his own sparingness when it came to jokes. Sarcasm, no problem, but jokes were another matter. Not that he was a completely serious character, he just found jokes un-useful. Shaking the thought away, he turned back to Chroma. "Coming?" Chroma Happily, Chroma beamed. She was glad she reminded him to eat. The idea that he might be joking did not cross her mind. Chroma was overjoyed to hear the laughing tone to his words. "Of course!" She trotted after India with eagerness. She wondered idly if she was hungry too. India Thanks to his sister and her magical fruit, there hadn't been many occasions for India to venture into the kitchen. The brightness and cleanliness that clashed so with the normal gathering room of the HQ stung at his eyes. Well, here was a place he hoped to avoid. Perhaps he could con some family member into bringing him something when he was hungry from now on.
His ears idly flicked back to the femme's following footsteps. "So..." he drawled, trying not to sound too out-of-the-know. "What's there to eat?" A quick scan of the kitchen produced little results in his eyes. Chroma Chroma too blinked at the pristine-ness of the kitchen. Their family's kitchen was not near so bright. "Trelweny keeps all of our food in the refrigerator or cabinets.? Curiously she pawed at the refrigerator door. "The 'fridge usually has the good stuff, though cookies are sometimes in the cabinets.? Although she liked cookies, Chroma preferred the ones Trelweny would bake for them over the ones stored in the cabinets. With a little grunt she wrestled the refrigerator door open & squealed in delight. "Look! Jackpot!? Fruit & veggies lay in the crisper while meats, jellies, & other refridgerable foodstuffs filled the shelves. No bananas though. Which was good, because bananas did not take well to refrigeration. Idly, Chroma wondered where they might be kept in this kitchen. India Coming up at her side, India poked his nose in. The chilled air surprised him, for he'd never had the opportunity to be so close inside the machine. The male's nose twitched, ears unconsciously sliding back. "Cold, eh?" He asked simply, though it was little more than small talk to remedy the not so uncomfortable, but rather flustering feeling of closeness to Chroma.
Not wanting to waste anymore time being frozen by the fridge, he nipped at the crisper until he was able to pry the drawer from its position. Looking inside, he quickly spotted his second favorite fruit. While it didn't rate compared to bananas, he grabbed quickly at a pear and moved away from the open door. Standing, pear in mouth, he waited for the femme to finish her search. Chroma Chroma giggled at India's comment about it being cold. She grabbed a crisp apple, swirled in her own colors without the blue. More practiced with snagging food from 'fridges, she shut the crisper than the door. She was not very hungry. Just enough to keep India company so he did not have to eat alone. "A little cold. But there's plenty of ways to warm back up again!"India As soon as his companion had her own snack, India took to eating his. The cool juice soothed his rumbling stomach, however, his method of eating offered little comfort. As usual, he was reluctant to set the food down, resulting in an awkward way of eating. It didn't help much when Chroma spoke next. Practically choking on the last of his fruit, he spat out the core. Never had it occured to the male how his mind could wander to such things. Besides, he highly doubted she had any intentions other than innocent ones. "Yeah," he agreed, ihailing deeply. Chroma Her intentions had been purely innocent. However little did Chroma know -even though she had dutifully listened while her human explained all about it- how even the most innocent of actions could lead to less innocent intentions. Chroma crunched on her apple happily, oblivious to how her words might be taken & not worried about eating the seeds or stems too. When India nearly choked she looked at him in concern. "Oh! Are you okay?" For whatever reason -instinct or other subconscious push- Chroma moved closer to India to offer her support. India "Fine," India muttered hastily. Amber eyes flicked sideways to observe the movement, but he made no retreating move of his own. Subconsciously, he wondered what had happened to his normal self. The real deal never got so flustered over the presence of another. Not only that, but he couldn't help but think of what might happen if his sister ever caught wind of it. He'd never live it down.
"I just swallowed a bit of juice the wrong way," he offered in explaination, faulty though it was. As in habit, his all black tail swung around to wrap protectively about his forepaws. Chroma Still concerned, Chroma nuzzled India gently. "Would you like some water? I could find a bowl & I know how to work the taps." It would be much easier too, now that she was full-grown. However she made no move to do so. If Chroma was a more thinking kitsu she might have wondered why. As it was, she was loathe to move right now. India With a family like his, India had recieved quite a few nuzzles and displays of affection. Even so, he could feel his body stiffen at the contact. "No, I'm alright." As soon as the words left his maw, he mentally slapped himself. Had he taken her up on the offer, that would bring at least a temporary break in the closeness in which he could gather his thoughts. But ah, no such luck. He would be hard pressed to admit he might've said no to keep her close. Chroma Chroma wondered at India's stiffening. Remus never stiffened when she consoled him. For that matter, why did she feel all tingly at the action? She certainly did not feel that sort of sensation when she was close to anyone in her family. And why was she not more interested in running & playing. For a moment Chroma wondered if perhaps India had magic like Remus, but one look at him and that concept was thrown to the winds. He did not look like someone casting spells. Still, there was certainly something in the air that had a magical feel to it. Confused as to what to do, Chroma reverted to her failsafe question. "Wanna play?"India Despite any actions he took to stop himself other times, no matter how religiously honed and sharpened he kept his control, India laughed. And not a little laugh, but a full out laugh that a close relation wouldn't expect to come from his maw. Perhaps it was merely an action to cover up his own insecurities or maybe he truly found humor in this situation. Whatever the case, it was a good minute before the male's fit was calmed.
"I'm sorry..." he muttered between remnants of a chuckle. "I'm sorry, I just..." For all the times he tossed a sarcastic comment or two, he found himself unable to come up with a thing to say. There really was no explaination for his action. Rather, only a feeling that he'd just as soon push away to save confusion. At least, that's what he tried to tell himself. Chroma Although she had no idea what was so funny, Chroma could not help but giggle as India laughed. Her eyes twinkled with merriment. He looked so free when he laughed. "What? Did I tickle you?" The tone of concern drifted away, & an impish quality filtered into both her voice & eyes. "You're not ticklish... are you?"No matter what his answer, Chroma intended to find out for herself if India should stop smiling. A nice light tickling almost always brought smiles. It was when it became harsh that the fun left the game. India India let out a long, drawn breath. That laugh was strange for him. It'd taken a lot out of him. Laying down, his head seemed to fall sideways onto his paws as soon as he was settled. Even after that, he carefully manuvered his paws so that his head was set with the floor. The cool surface dulled the slight, but not really uncomfortable pounding.
"Nope," he drawled. "Not ticklish in the least." Truth be told, he had no idea if he was ticklish or not. Stretching out his back legs to their fullest and then curling them up again, he seriously contemplated taking a nap right on the kitchen floor. Still, unusually, the smile stuck on his maw, whereas usually it would've disappeared by now. Lucky him, it seemed he just might be safe from Chroma's 'wrath.' Chroma "Oh. You're not? That's too bad. Tickling is fun." Impressively for her, she made a mental note to test the truth of that later. Perhaps when India was not already smiling & seeming so comfortable. Though much escaped the primary hued kitsu, she had learned that even the most truthful was prone to fib about their own ticklishness. India's stretching was infectious & soon Chroma stretched as well. Then with surprise she yawned. In confusion she blinked her eyes. She had not played. What could possibly have caused her to become sleepy. Having no answer she cocked her head at India's curled form. He looked comfortable. As in 'comfortable like a pillow' comfortable. Well why not? With abandon she would show any in her family, Chroma curled beside India & lay her head upon his shoulder. The thought that he might not want her there did not cross her mind. But then, it is quite clear that many thoughts did not bother Chroma's mind. India For once that day, India was able to control himself at her touch. This time he didn't flinch or stiffen. Instead, he used his will power to admit to himself that he just might actually be enjoying it. Letting out a small huff, he subconsciously scooted closer to the warmth of the femme.
It tended to be rather easy for him to fall asleep under normal circumstances, however, curled up as he was, it was almost impossible to stay awake. Amber eyes were no longer visible as dark lids shut. His mind and body now willed sleep. "Chr..." he muttered, as if to speak to her. But before he was actually able to say anything, he was swept off to dreamland. Remus & Chroma Remus thanked Siggy for their chat, bowing deeply to the Scottish lass as he rose. It was time to go home. With a sigh he headed to the kitchen to gather Chroma. The sight he saw caused his eyes to soften. They looked comfortable, & he did not want to disturb them. However, he also knew that he could not simply disappear without a word. Not when he would not be seeing Chroma for the next three days again. Ever so gently he tiptoed into the kitchen, until he could easily whisper in Chroma's ear. "Chroma... Chroma-dear.""Hmm? What?" She answered sleepily, one sky-blue eye opening slightly to see him. She smiled drowsily. "Do we have to go home? I'm comfy." Even near sleep the pout could be heard. His heart ached. He hoped Trelweny would not be upset at him for his decision. "I have to go home. You can stay here." He licked her forehead fraternally. "I just wanted to say goodbye, as I'll be away for a few days." The implications of this, were of course lost on the tired female. "Okay." He turned to slip away. "Remy?"Remus swallowed the automatic correction. "Yes, Chroma-dear?""Thanks..." Chroma murmured, falling asleep. Where he stood, Remus smiled. "You're welcome. Sleep well." With that he softly padded outside, heading home.

Pg. 2060-2062India India yawned, stretching out his back as he moved along. It was beyond him why he'd chosen to come outside today. It was a rare occurance. Meandering along, he hadn't thought he's see a familar sight near the lake. Lifting his head a bit higher, he took in the sight of his brother and his friend. Was that the friend he'd been told about? Nixis Nixis likewise shook the water from her own fur. "Well then I'd love for you to show me, lead on fearless leader." Leaning foreword she extracted a water bug from Tarik's dense fur, and threw it back into the lake, "Got it." Tarik Tarik grinned. "Thank ya." He raised his ears and looked around. India stood off to the side of the lake. "India! Come over here for a minute? I want you to meet someone." India Perking an ear in his brother's direction, India shrugged. Couldn't hurt anything to do so. His all black tail flicked idly between his patterned ones as he moved towards the two. "Hey Tarik," he greeted nonchalantly as he reached them, turning ever so slightly to view Nixis. Tarik "This is Nixis, the friend that Keiki insists on calling my girlfriend..." Tarik told him, flickign his ears a bit. Though he wished it, he wasn't getting his hopes up. "Nixis, this is one of my brothers, India" Nixis Nixis's ears perked up and she flushed crimson again. "She called me your what..." Taken aback she shook her head how rude of her for not adressing his sibling first. "Hello India, pleasure to meet you." Tarik Tarik kept his mouth shut to that. It was something he'd talk with Nixis over later, maybe when they went to the meadow. India "Same," India returned her greeting, bowing slightly. For now, he ignored the part about their sister. He knew how his brother felt, after all. It was then he noticed how wet they were. It was a little surprising, even though he'd just seen them in the lake. A little grin settled itself on his maw. "Ah, well..." he started, but stopped suddenly. He wasn't the best at making conversation. Nixis Nixis wasn't a very sociable person in all honesty. She Shifted from foot to foot akwardly, "So Tarik was about to take me to the meadow, would you care to join us India?" India "Mm..." India thought for a moment. "I guess so, if it's okay with you, of course." Amber eyes shied away from her face. Thinking about it, he wondered if he should reject the offer. Tarik could've been planning something... Well, there wasn't much turning back now, he supposed. Nixis She nodded, "Of course its alright. Isn't it Tarik?" She grinned brightly, "You'll have to forgive me if I seem rather anti-social, I haven't really met many Kitsu, other than Tarik that is." India India supposed he hadn't really noticed. "No big deal," he offered, canting his head ever so slightly. "I can't say I'm very social, myself." Though he had met a fair amount of others, that hadn't done much to shift his persona. "Mostly I hang out with my sister..." he added, though it was probably hard to hear. Nixis "Well then we can be anti-social together." Tiltiing her head to the side she caught his last comment, if only barely, "Really, well that's rather nice of you! Sometimes I wish I had siblings. Being an only child, kind of causes one to get used to solitude." India The male let out a light chuckle at her comment. Anti-social together, huh? He wondered how far they would get that way. At first, he was surprised she'd caught his last comment, but took it in stride. "Well, I guess my sister kinda pushed her way into my heart..." He said honestly. She could be really pushy. "I have a lot of siblings, six I think, and lots of other family I've never met. I wish I could be alone sometimes, though." It seemed they had opposite situations.

-Pg. 2064-2068Mortimer Poision colored Mortimer graced upon ze high grass that flowed across a plain littered wit evergreens. His acrid emrald eyes were sharp and glared as usual, his tails sweeping behind him on ze ground. Bangs bobbing up and down as he crept.
Mortimer came to a clearing finally at his destination. A sea of jasmine was spread like flour accross ze field, and one single lone tree was standing tall right in the middle. A grin sliced over his muzzle, targeting his favorite spot. Ember Ember lay, surrounded by the semi-longish grass and jasmine flowers. He was neither awake nor asleep, but somewhere between, for sunny days such as this one made him sleepy. Stretched out on his stomach, his tails would twitch every so often, and a single flower was tucked behind his ear. He loved times like this, when he could just doze and pretend time didn't exist. However, as this thought came to him, also came a rustling noise, and his eyes shot open to see what-or who- had disturbed his rest. Without sitting up, he scanned the area, spying another unknown kitsu of a strange pinkish-purple color. He heaved a sigh, and hauled himself up, shaking himself as if to clear the last shreds of sleepiness from his mind. If he was to meet somebody new, it was better to be fully alert. India India took his leave of his sibling and Nixis. For the first time in his life, he'd felt almost like he was intruding. While pondering over these thoughts, he happened to notice a familiar coat coloration not far off. Against his better judgement, he stalked off after the form.
Despite his at least medium-level tracking skills, he lost sight of Morty. Well, that was fine. He wasn't much in the mood to be around the other male, anyway. What he did find, though, was an unfamiliar field. He wondered briefly if this was the place the other was headed to. Ember As Ember watched, the strangely colored kitsu wandered off in another direction, and he relaxed. Maybe he could get back to his nap...? But no, such was not to be. Another showed up roughly where the first had been, and Ember sighed rather loudly in annoyance, not particularly caring if the other heard. India India's ears flicked slightly, sliding back against his skull. Amber eyes traced the field for the sorce, locating it rather quickly. A Kitsu clad in clothes. It almost felt strange coming across one like him after just speaking about it with Chroma not long ago. Allowing his ego to cloud his slight discomfort, he snorted. "Something wrong?" Ember "N-nothing of importance." he replied, sweet as spun sugar. However, his half-nap had been interrupted, and he was a bit grumpy. He had to be careful not to let it show. He didn't want to make any enemies because of grumpiness.. "Why?" India Noticing the sudden change, India let his guard down, if only a tiny bit. "No reason," he huffed in response, all black tail swinging around as if to protect him. Glancing off in the opposite direction, he sighed lightly. "You didn't see another male come through here, did you? Mostly purple..." he trailed off. Ember "I did.." Ember affirmed, nodding and stretching, reluctantly walking over to where the other stood. "He was here shortly before you, but he kind of disappeared, s-so if you're looking for him, I can't help you." India India scoffed as if the answer should be obvious. "I'm not looking for him," he said, turning to view his newest acquaintance. The smell of this field was starting to make him drowsy as he did so. Trying to shake it off, he rubbed at his face with a paw. "So, what's your name?" He asked idly, though his voice held something that could be considered curiousity. Ember Oh. He hadn't introduced himself, had he? Where were his manners?"Ember- I'm..I'm Ember." he replied, ducking his head sheepishly. "If you're not looking for him why..why did you ask about him?" Ember asked, cocking his head curiously to one side. "He a f-friend of yours?" India "India," he returned, even though he hadn't been asked. It was strange. Ever since that meeting with Sirius, he hadn't been so unwanting when it came to giving out his name. But then, when he was about to snap about the other's question being stupid, he realized just how shy he seemed. Sighing, he looked away. "He's not a friend, persay. I just know him." Ember Ember saw the snarl on India's face, and cringed, though the sharp words never came, and Ember wondered if perhaps he was seeing things." I...I'm sorry if I overstepped the lines of polite conversation.." he murmured, tails twitching anxiously. "I didn't m-mean anything by my question.." India India shook his head, a small hint of a smile on his maw. "No, it's alright. I guess I just got a little upset with someone thinking he was my friend. We don't get along very well." Slowly, he returned his gaze to the other. "I'm not sure why I was even following him." It almost surprised the male that he was willing to give out this information. But then again, he didn't really expect Ember to run off and tell anyone. "What were you doing out here?" He asked, still not realizing that he'd inturrupted the other's nap. Ember " S-sleeping.." Ember admitted, shaking his head so that the flower fell from behind his ear. "S'the sun, the flowers... m-makes me sleepy." He grinned goofily, again ducking his head in sheepishness. It was a bit embaressing to admit he'd fallen asleep in the sun, but it was the truth, and lies only ever led to arguments. India "Mm..." It was India's turn to look sheepish, though it was much less obvious. "Sorry," he offered. "I didn't mean to disturb you." Being one who kept sleeping as a passtime, he knew just what it was like to be awoken. And he knew what the other meant. These flowers... Shaking his head, as he'd done to wake himself before, he grinned lightly. Ember Ember visibly relaxed as India grinned. "It's alright...there are plenty more naps to be taken in.. in the future. It...Anyway, it wasn't you that w-woke me up." he added, shrugging easily, "It was your purple-ish nonfriend." India The comment made India laugh a little. Nonfriend. That was an interesting term. "Well, I guess that's okay then. For the most part, anyway." As usual, he felt the need to back up his words with an action, so he nodded slightly. "I've never been here before," he then admitted, obvious just trying to make conversation. Ember " No." Ember agreed, nodding absently, "I haven't either. But it's nice, here..I think that Purple over there knew about this place though...I'm pretty sure he didn't see me, as at that point I was, ah...otherwise involved with the flowers, and the sun, and the insides of my eyelids." India The flowers were really getting to him now. With all this idle chatter, he could barely keep his eyes open. "Yeah, I bet he did. He seemed pretty set on this place when I was following him." Stretching, he yawned. "Well, nice meeting you, but I'm gonna go. I'm not really the outdoors type, so I'm gonna go take my nap inside." Letting another rare grin slip to his maw, he bowed slightly. "See ya later." With that, he stalked off.
