( Yeah.. But they're normally longer, for me that is. Sorry, I'll try harder. )
Makie was also happy that Hiko was atheletically inclined. Even though they didn't do the same sports, it was still nice to have friends who had the same likes as you. And Hiko did think right, maybe they could teach each other some tricks. The brunette was always small, and was never really noticed, so she hardly ever got onto any sports teams. And in gym, she was always the nerd, or reject, who was picked last, even when it was the gym teacher who was picking out the teams. But, when it came to dance, gymnastics, flexibility, or endurance, no one could match up to Makie. But, she hardly ahd any chances to showcase her passion and major.
As for her powers. They were nothing special... She still had to train them... Actually. Makie used to have 'training wheels' for her powers. The small girl always had her grandmothers pendant around her neck that limited her powers so the brunette wouldn't surpass the limit of her abilities and lose control of the powers, but... Recently, Dante had destroyed it, so her powers... Well.. They were like she had just gotten them, so she only used small ammounts of her power at a time. I mean, she could still use them to make her dances look magical and special, but it was hard for her to limit herself... So hard...
"Oh, me? I've got super speed powers!"
"R-R-Really? T-That s-sounds soo c-cool! I-I can o-only m-manipulate i-ice and l-light, b-but... S-Super speed sounds so a-awesome!" The brunette stated, with pure amazement in her fragile, childlike voice. "I-It s-sounds r-really hard t-to control, t-though..." Now... That particular power sounded hard to be able to control to Makie. How would you train it? It all seemed so different and strange to the brunette, but interesting and cool nonetheless. They sounded so much cooler then her boring powers to manipulate light and ice. Her ice powers have actually grown out of her control lately, and sometimes she found herself freezing her hands and fingers. The small girl actually froze her fingers one day, and then had to attempt to use her light powers to heat up her fingers, just so she could use them again. Stupid powers...
Well... Ever since the Star Tournament, Makie had wished that she could go back home to her grandpa and check up on how he's doing... Maybe tell him how Ria High is, and maybe ask him if he had any charms that could help control her powers. Her grandma and grandpa worked at their shrine, but it was really grandma who did most of the charms. Grandpa trained people in archery, and light/healing powers, and grandma made charms for both tourists and magical beings. So... Maybe grandpa didn't have any charms, but maybe he did know a special technique that could help her not surpass the limits of her abilities...
"O-Ohh! T-That r-reminds m-me! D-Deejay s-said t-that s-some guy... Uhhh... Z-Zeejack n-needs some supplies a-and h-he's going to c-come o-over sometime s-soon t-to pick t-them u-up..." Makie said, scratching the side of her head, trying to remember what he needed... "H-He needed s-some crates o-of... Cheese a-and... Umm... Errr... Oh! H-he need s-some m-meat too!"

((Nooooo, you'll make me and my short posts look bad! xd ))
"Yeah, mine was kinda hard to control at first too..." Hikaru admitted, blushing a little and rubbing at the back of her head. She remembered the first time she used her powers - she went tearing off across the back yard, straight through a fence, and slammed right into the side of the neighbors' house. Those bruises took weeks to heal.
"The training is really helping, though!" she said, energetically pumping her fists in the air. "I got the idea from watching the rollercoasters at the amusement park a few weeks ago - I thought using the weights with the rollerblades would help me be able to slow down enough to get used to the increased speed, and to help me figure out how to change directions and stuff mid-run. It's working really well so far!" She grinned a little at this, not able to hide her excitement. "I can't wait to see what it's like to run with the weights off!"
Hopping up on one of the chairs at the counter, she started kicking her legs idly as she continued talking with Makie. She leaned down to rub at her ankles a little, her flip-flops dangling off the egdes of her toes as she spun back and forth in the stool. "Good to get a little rest every once in a while, too. Those weights can get pretty heavy..." sweatdrop
She smiled widely at Makie when she started discussing her own powers. Shaking her head at her denial of having cool abilities, she held her arms out wide. "But anyway, you shouldn't think so badly about your own powers! Ice and light manipulation sound really cool! I wish I could do stuff like that!"
Still spinning around in the chair, she nodded to Makie as she mentioned this Zeejack guy. "Okay, so we just need to get the supplies ready, right? That shouldn't be a big deal. We should put them somewhere and label them or something so we remember what's for him and what's not when he shows up to get it all..."

( I'm sorry! I'll try and give you more to work with then. <333 )
"Yeah, mine was kinda hard to control at first too..."
All powers are hard to control at first, but super speed... That would probably take months, years, decades... No.. Years to get used to! I mean, what if you accidently run off a high way or something..? That would be very good... What if you tripped and got you shin or arms or neck impaled on a rock! That would be horrible! Uggggh... The thought of it made Makie shiver in fear. But, hopefully nothing bad happened to Hiko before. If Hiko was okay, then Makie was okay.
"The training is really helping, though!"
It made Makie think that she shouldn't go to her grandpa for a charm or a technique... Maybe she should train and try her hardest to control her powers herself instead of relying on crutches... The brunette was inspired... It made Makie want to go train right now! She didn't want to train so she could fight better, but just to control her powers to help people! The small child hated fighting, but she loved to help people, so if she could train enough so she could develop a technique that would help people, Makie would be extremely happy. "T-Thank y-you Hiko..."
"I got the idea from watching the rollercoasters at the amusement park a few weeks ago -"
Makie let out a soft giggle. She was the one who asked for it to take place, her request became reality, and she was able to meet a few new friends. Max, Gordon, Kurai and Lydia. Lydia was a bit violent, but she was pretty cool... And Kurai seemed kind of cold, but he just needed a friend. As for Max and Gordon, they're pretty cool to hang out with. Meeting both of them was awkward. Gordon who asked for her autograph, and Max... Well, Makie was scared of all guys, so... Yeah...
But when Hiko said how having Light and Ice manipulation powers are cool, Makie blushed. She really didn't think so, since it was a common power, but... It was still a compliment. "T-T-Thanks... A-Although... I-I still h-have to train though... I-I can't r-release a v-vast ammount of p-power without l-losing c-control." Makie said, rubbing the back of her small brown head. "W-Well... L-Let's go get the c-cheese first... I-It's should b-be out back... W-We'll carry each c-crate out one at a time w-with each other's h-help..."
That's when small Makie got out of the kitchen and began to walk towards a door that said 'Employee's Only'. When she walked in, it was pitch black... So, she begn to feel around the walls for a light switch, and at a rather hasted pace... Also, she held her breath as she did so... The girl hated the darkness, and was deathly afraid of it. The moment her small fingers hit a light switch, she flicked it on and Makie let out her breath. Turning around, she was face to face with piles of boxes, labeled with different things. It would probably take both Makie and Hiko to take out a box, but the small brunette could always started looking for what they needed.

"...You're welcome, I guess!" Hikaru said, smiling cheerily back at Makie. She wasn't entirely certain what she was being thanked for, but being thanked all the same was a nice gesture, so she made sure to return the kindness.
"So yeah, we should definitely go to the training hall together sometime," she said, bouncing in place somewhat excitedly at the thought of showing off her powers and getting to see someone else's in action. "I think it'd be fun to train with another person for a change, and I'd get to see what your powers can do, too! I haven't gotten to see too many other peoples' abilities up close just yet!" She folded her arms, thinking to herself for a minute. "Let's see... I know a summoner, a fairy, another martial artist - but I haven't seen any of her moves yet - and a healer! Everyone who goes to this school is really talented!"
She kept talking as she followed Makie back into the storage room. She fumbled around for the lights for a few seconds, her expression lighting up with the room as Makie found the switch and turned them on. Taking a look around the room, she walked over to a few boxes in the corner.
"Here we go, found 'em!" she announced, calling over to Makie at the door. Straining a little with the edge of the box, she decided it would be easier if they worked together. "It's pretty heavy... let's each take one side, okay? Lift with your knees, on three." She waited for Makie to take a position on the other side of the box before counting. "One... two... three!"

( I'm sorry if this is short... I'm not feeling too good... )
"Let's see... I know a summoner, a fairy, another martial artist - but I haven't seen any of her moves yet - and a healer! Everyone who goes to this school is really talented!"
'Minus me, but... Yeah... There are a lot of talented students here.' Makie thought to herself, as she continued to look for the boxes. Makie so far met a healer, an angel, a neko, a martial artist, a few manipulators and a sword wielding Lydia. It really makes you wonder if there are more people with powers then there are actual humans... Maybe not, but still... There were a lot of gifted people in this school. And angels, and demons, and nekos, and kitsunes, and many other races!
"Here we go, found 'em!"
"O-Ohhh!" Makie exclaimed before looking over towards Hiko. As she skipped happily over, she noticed a crate labeled meat. They would have to come back for it later, but helping Hiko with this crate came first! Helping people comes before you and besides... Makie probably wouldn't be able to lift a crate by herself... Maybe if she was Misty and was super strong and would able to boost up her own strength to carry it, but no... She was a small skinny, little, girl who looks like she's 7 or 8 even though she's 13. When she finally got by Hiko, she took a breath, and took one of the sides.
"One..."
Makie blew on her hands, and mentally prepared herself for this moment. All of her training of long hours each day and night of pain and agony was for this moment... Not really, but she was trying to mentally prepare herself to help carry this big, heavy crate...
"Two...
HOMG! One number left then she had to lift the crate. Okie... You can do it Makie! You can do it! Makie thought to herself silently, before letting out a breath and gripping onto the side as hard as she could.
"Three!"
With that, Makie heaved up her end and when she was sure Hiko had her end, the small brunette, who's legs were shaking from the weight, slowly headed out for the door. She managed to be walking backwards, so they can easily fit through the door, and then, after being sure Hiko was out the door, the brunette turned the box to it's side so she wasn't walking backwards any more, but to the side.
"A-Are you o-okay Hiko?" Makie asked, trying to keep her grip on the box. She felt about ready to drop it, so she had to make up an excuse. She didn't want Hiko to think she was a wimp. "W-Why n-not lay it h-here...? H-Here i-is good... L-Let go on three... O-One... Two..." The brunette paused for a moment, catching her breath. "Three..."

Hikaru counted slowly as she bent down to lift the crate - it didn't look like Makie was very physically strong, and she didn't want to overwhelm her with the weight of the thing. Then again, it was just the two of them, so she really didn't have much of a choice except for trying hard and just buckling down and doing it. All the same, she tried to be careful as she started to maneuver the box toward the door.
"Okay! Slow and easy now!" she called out as she hefted her side of the box and started moving out of the room. As Makie shifted her grip, her own side dropped a little bit, but she managed to catch it.
"All right, let's have a little rest here," she said after hearing Makie's suggestion about setting the box down about halfway. "We can move it the rest of the way out after we catch our breath!" On three, she slowly lowered her end of the box to the ground, noticing that Makie's side dropped a little more quickly. She simply smiled at her, hopping onto the box and sitting down.
"Whew! Hard work, eh!" she said, grinning and wiping some sweat from her forehead. "Just think of it as training!" Hikaru craned her neck back to look at Makie, flashing a V for victory sign at her and grinning widely.

You could see the relief in Makie's face after they stopped. It was heavy for her and her 67lbs. Maybe... She needed to do even more chores. Her grandfather was always warning her about being spoiled, but-- GOD! Who could ever lift that by themselves! Small Makie also felt bad for Hikaru. She was probably carrying more weight then Makie and her almost failing grip, small, scrawny arms, and short body. She felt kind of bad, but Hiko didn't seem too worn out. She was probably used to it. Makie let out a sigh and dropped her shoulders slightly forward.
"T-Th-That was... Hard..." The brunette said with a long sigh at the end. "I-I-I mean... I-It was a-a good w-work out!" Makie didn't want Hiko to think she was weak, but she was always a bad liar... Unless it was about her feelings. But that's besides the point. But yeah, point is, Hiko probably would easily catch onto her lie... But Makie would try her best anyways... Even if she died in the end... Maybe not... But small Makie would try her hardest until it was time for a break!
"Y-Yeah... T-Training! I-It's very good t-training!" Makie said, while letting out a breath, and placing a hand over her heart. She wasn't exactly prepared for it, but, you'd have to do it one point in your life... Maybe... Most likely... Actually you might never have to ever carry a heavy crate ever in your life, but if you're working a fast food joint, it's likely you'll have to.
"S-So... D-Do you w-wanna go get the o-other one? I-I saw it b-before we g-got this c-crate." Makie said straightening up a bit. "C-Come on.. I-I'll show you!" With that the girl turned, and skipped over to the back room. Positioning herself by the crate, holding the handle. When Hikaru came, the small Makie smiled and took in a deep breath. "R-Ready when y-you are..."

Hikaru smiled back at Makie. Of course she knew the girl was lying, but it wasn't like she was going to make fun of her for it. Everyone had something they weren't very good at, and the fact that she was putting on a brave face and trying to cover it up just showed that she wasn't willing to give up in the face of something potentially difficult. Hikaru always respected people with that kind of attitude, no matter how physically incapable they might be.
"All righty, let's go get the other crate!" she said, hopping back down off the box they'd just carried out and making her way over to the other one. This box was a little smaller than the other one, so it probably wouldn't take quite so much effort to lift. Hopefully Makie would be able to make it the whole way out the door this time - if not, they could just set it down by the other one and that would be fine for the time being.
Stooping down to the opposite side of the box, Hikaru grabbed the handle on her side and made a few mock lifting motions, gearing herself up to heft the box up. "Okay! On three again! One, two..." She grunted and started to shift her weight, using the handle for leverage. "Three!" As she finished her count, she shifted again, lifting the box and starting to move back toward the door again.

"honk Honk!" Went off a loud truck horn from the side of the Pizza Palor (Yes im aware that the pizza palor is up with the huge Student Dorm... i... Dun't know how Zeejack got up their either. OH I KNOW! its an Air-truck! yup. An Air-truck..) "yooooO!!! ZeeeeeeeJack here! Anybody in there!?" ZeeJack yelled out to the side door of Deejay's pizza Palor. in response the door slowly opened with sight of a small gurl standing by the door.
"Hey ZeeJack!!!!" The young gurl yelled out waving her hand estatically twoards the Funky Vendor. Her Rollar blades slowly rolling back and forth as she pulled a button to release a small ramp to extend out into the wild blue twoards the back of ZeeJack's small pick up truck. Zeejack himself backed up twoards the ramp and then leaped up onto the top of his own trucks back and there Zeejack took off his sunglasses and gave off a rather heoric pose. He was wearing sandles a classic japanese salesman robe along with a headband. At such a great height carrying the boxes was diffently going to be something rather nerve wrecking carrying it across the ramp. The Ramp that Deejay pulled out had pull up Railings though which she began doing as she slowly rolled about the ramp pulling up the sides.
"Thank a bunch DeeJay! You dun't know how much you saved my butt! I didn't realize i was going to get so many customers suddenly." Zeejack said happily as he leaped off his truck and onto the ramp DeeJay pulled out. as soon as he landed the ramp let out a mighty shake as DeeJay almost lost her own balance on her rollar blades and falling over the side. Zeejack fortuantly saw this and was well aware this might happen and caught DeeJay by the side. The Lil Gurl made an angry pouty face at ZeeJack as she rolled away from him and continued back to pull up the railings. Zeejack rubbed the back of his head and then looked behind him. "so umm I take it the crates are all ready to be carried out huh?"
"Yup!" Deejay nodded as she did a quick spin on her skates pointing over twoards the door she opened. "There should be a few of my workers helping carrying them out too though! Sara has been busy with orders so she can't help you this time. Myself you know i can't carry crates. but umm you will get to see them soon enough!"

As the doors to the storage room opened and let down the ramp, Hikaru poked her head from around where she was standing and talking with Makie. Looking around at the flying car and everything, her eyes went wide with amazement. Spotting ZeeJack, she waved enthusiastically up at him, calling out loudly toward him and DeeJay.
"Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!" she yelled, waving her arms around trying to get his attention. "We're right down here! Your boxes are just inside this door here, so all we'll need to do is carry them across!" Disappearing back around the corner for a moment, she yanked Makie around to the opening so she could meet ZeeJack too. "This is Makie - she's my coworker! C'mon over and we'll help you out with the boxes now!"

((forgive your lazy captain ;O; ))
The Lil gurl's voice took Zeejack's attention immedatily as he spun about on the ramp too look face to face with the young and waving Hikaru. Zeejack let out a smile and then a lil "ehhhh???? This gurl is in high school? I can understand some adults in this school but my my she seems a little young dosen't she DeeJay?" Zeejack spoke to Deejay without even answering Hikaru's wave. DeeJay nudged zeejack as she spun about the last railling pulled up. "your talking to a teenager running a pizza palour my dear Zeejack..." She said chuckled and nudging Zeejack playfully.
"oh yeah.. i forgot...." Zeejack rubbed his forehead nervously and then walked up twoards Hikaru and Deejay skating past her. As DeeJay skated past Hiko she gave her a friendly pat on the back. "best of luck darling! and don't worry Makie-san he dosen't bite" She then gave her a friendly salute and a wink as she returned into the pizza palour.
"So this one is Makie.." Zeejack said as he pointed over twoards the shy lil gurl. "And what would this young beatiful gurl's name be?" ZeeJack said leaning down sliightly to get a good look at her face. "and do you guys think you can carry these boxes one by one or is there a skill that allows you to carry 3 at a time or something? last time some psychic gal tried to toss 4 crates into my truck.. didn't go too well.. but ehh..." ZeeJack shruged his shoulders and then pointed at the ramp. "And try not to look down.. it kinda makes you drop the crate if your not experienced.. hehe.."

Rayna ran in the parlor, panting. "Sorry....I'm late...." she gasped, bending over. She had been flaky with her job ever since she had started, and she felt guilty. But she was determined to make it all up. She stood up straight, grasping the rubber band on her wrist and rolling it off, pulling her hair back as she pulled her hair into a ponytail. She looked down at her attire- faded, baggy jeans that nearly covered both of her black tennis shoes and a dark blue T-shirt with some white symbol on it. After putiing her hair in a high, messy ponytail, she placed her hands on her hips, smiling. "Need me for anything at the moment?" she asked, her tail swishing about.

"Rayna! Hi!" Hiko exclaimed excitedly as her friend came running through the door into the back room where the boxes were stored. Grabbing her hand, she ran with her back to the large open loading dock where ZeeJack was waiting with his hovertruck.
"Mr. ZeeJack! I have someone else for you to meet!" she called out across the ramp. "This is my friend Rayna! She's gonna help us carry the boxes too!" Swiveling around, she gave Rayna a quick grin and V for victory sign before running back over to the box of cheese she and Makie were carrying earlier.
"Okay, there's just the box of meat and the box of cheese to carry," she explained. "Let's all three of us just get one side, and we'll do them one at a time, okay?" Bending down, she put her hands under the box, waiting for the other two to get in place.
"All right! On the count of three! One... two... three!" As she reached three, she started to lift, guiding the other girls along the precariously high ramp and over to ZeeJack's truck, trying her best not to look down at how stupidly high up they were standing at the time.

Rayna blinked at Hiko as she came towards her, and then smiled. "Hiko! I didn't know you worked here!" she said cheerfully. Before she could think, Rayna then felt herself pulled over to ZeeJack, who she smiled at politely. "Hello, sir. Wait, I am?" she asked, only to be pulled back over to the large boxes. Her long, red ponytail whipped behind her as she was dragged along. After hearing Hiko, she got into place on one side of the box, also putting her hands under it. As they lifted and walked onto the ramp, Rayna made sure not to look down. She was a bit scared of heights- well, not heights, per say, but more of falling. SHe gulped as they carried it up the ramp.

Hikaru made a point of looking exactly ahead of where she was carrying the box, reducing herself to tunnelvision in an attempt to ignore how high up they were. Ironically, her speed training actually came rather in handy for this, as she had to concentrate fairly hard on where she was headed in order to keep track of what was coming up in front of her. Moving forward slowly and steadily, she guided Makie and Rayna to ZeeJack's truck, instructing them when to set the box down.
"Aaaaaaaand... there!" she said, lowering the box and setting it down next to the other freight in the back of ZeeJack's truck. Pumping her fist in the air, she grinned widely. "First box, loaded! Now let's go get the second one!" She began enthusiastically dashing back toward the pizza shop, again taking care not to look down.
